“Michelle was an amazing pet sitter. This was my first time leaving my puppy with someone other then family and I could not be happier with my choice of leaving him in Michelle's capable hands. She treated my dog as if he was a member of her family. She gave my dog lots of love and attention and ensure he got lots of walks which he loved. Snoopy broke a nail the day before I had to leave and Michelle graciously help take care of him e-collar and all. She provided his medication and followed all his care instructions. Michelle also allowed my puppy to sleep with her which was very comforting for my puppy who is used to sleeping with me. Michelle kids were also great with Snoopy (my dog) and I could tell in all the wonderful video updates that he was very happy. I definitely missed my puppy more then I thought and Michelle happily provided me additional videos and pictures which made my family's and my day seeing him so happy and well taken care of. Michelle is more then just a pet sitter, she genuinely loves dogs and goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs in her care feel comfortable and happy. Will absolutely book her again.”

I always put your dog’s need first. If coming into your home, I can do whatever your pet needs including feeding, playing, or taking them outside for a bathroom break. As a dog walker, I will adjust to your dogs pace. If you have a high energy dog, I am an endurance athlete and I can take them for a midday run to let out all their energy. If they are a senior dog or smaller breed, I am happy to take things slow and allow them to explore all the smells!
About: I already love your dog and haven't even met him/her yet. I would love to take your doggo for a walk or drop in give them some attention! I grew up with dogs (labs and pitbulls), so I am comfortable handling all sizes and breeds. I work a classic 9-5 job, but can walk your dog before and after work. If your dog is up for it, I can take them for a run also! If you are located within 10 minutes of work, I can also stop by during lunch to hang out with your pup. I think our pets deserve some loving everyday and to get out of the house for an adventure every once in a while and am happy to help you with that! On days that I am watching your pup, I always try to be working from home so I can take them for walks whenever needed and be with them most of the day! In my apartment, we are super pet friendly! I have a protected balcony that pups can enjoy and a grass area right outside my apartment for potty time. Also plenty of safe and fun walking areas to explore during walk time.

About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.

Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up, we always had pets in our home, including goldfish, hamsters, crayfish, cats, and dogs. I loved caring for each and every one of them. We had a wonderful Golden Retriever who lived a healthy and happy life until he sadly passed away from a brain tumor at age 11. Today, we share our home with a Golden Retriever girl we adopted after her owner surrendered her and a German Shepherd mix boy we rescued. Both have taught me even more about patience, compassion, and the unique needs of every dog. For many years, I have helped care for and walk my neighbors' and friends' dogs. Now that my children are grown and need less of my time, I have decided to join the Rover community so I can spend more time doing something I truly enjoy; caring for animals. “Michelle was an amazing pet sitter. This was my first time leaving my puppy with someone other then family and I could not be happier with my choice of leaving him in Michelle's capable hands. She treated my dog as if he was a member of her family. She gave my dog lots of love and attention and ensure he got lots of walks which he loved. Snoopy broke a nail the day before I had to leave and Michelle graciously help take care of him e-collar and all. She provided his medication and followed all his care instructions. Michelle also allowed my puppy to sleep with her which was very comforting for my puppy who is used to sleeping with me. Michelle kids were also great with Snoopy (my dog) and I could tell in all the wonderful video updates that he was very happy. I definitely missed my puppy more then I thought and Michelle happily provided me additional videos and pictures which made my family's and my day seeing him so happy and well taken care of. He was able to go on her furniture and sleep with her, just like he does at home. Gina sent lots of cute photos and videos while we were gone.
