Dog Uncle/Caregiver For Hire!

I’ve grown up my entire life with dogs. I’ve had experience with Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have patience and respect for all four legged living things. I have cared for and raised dogs from puppy-hood through senior dog age. Working through their anxieties and health issues that have come up along the way. I’m available for quick walks to give your pets a relief break while you’re busy or just to calm their nerves till you come home. I’m also here to donate unconditional love to your pet while you need to step away out of town. I have learned that dogs need patience, attention, & a schedule in order to thrive and live long happy lives. I’m here to provide that for them as well as peace of mind for you.

We have never had a better Rover sitter than Travis. He was clear and direct with communication and always asked the right questions. Travis was so incredibly thorough with his updates about our girl- I loved reading the messages every day. We could just tell she was being taken care of properly (and then some) and we just picked her up and she looks so healthy and happy! If I was still living in Los Angeles I would never use anyone else. Thank you SO much for allowing us to vacation with ease.

Travis sat for our (somewhat high maintenance) Golden, Toby, while we were away for a long weekend and did an incredible job. He suggested a meet and greet beforehand which I really appreciated. Travis sent regular detailed updates telling us about Toby‘s day along with cute pictures so we could see what our boy was up to. He put our minds at ease while we were away which is so important especially when working with somebody new. We’d highly recommend Travis and can’t wait to work with him again.

Travis is the best of the best. Takes great care of our girl and sends detailed updates with great pictures. He handles our picky and sometimes needy girl so well and she always comes home happy!

Travis was incredible. We were so lucky to have been recommended to him. He sent detailed updates with photos everyday and took such good care of Tess. It was the first time we had left her, so we were a bit nervous. Thanks to Travis, we felt very reassured and were able to enjoy our time away. We will be leaving Tess with him again in the future.

I am so grateful to have found Travis!! He’s great with Max, reliable and always on time. Travis sends me daily updates, pics, and fills up Max’s water bowl before leaving. I trust Travis with what is most valuable to me, Max. Is there a better compliment? Max loves him too.

Schedule

I work from home, so I have plenty of time to spend giving attention to dogs. I do run errands some days & am not opposed to bringing a copilot (dog) with me if they require the attention for their anxiety or medical needs. Due to this is fairly easy to fit dogs & their needs into my schedule. NOTE: drop off & pick up is only available 7am-11pm. Times outside this window need to be discussed before booking.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a townhome style building that has a secure lobby. My unit has a private fenced in, astroturf, back area that gets lots of sun for laying out or to play in. When your dog is here they are family, so they have access to my furniture & attention as much as they would or wouldn’t like. They are also welcome to have any & all creature comforts from home with them to make their stay as stress free as possible.

A typical day

While your dog is here we can stick to their routine as much as possible to keep their stress low. They can play or be lazy, regardless they will receive lots of pets & scratches as well as frequent walks around our very dog friendly neighborhood.
