I was 110% petrified of leaving my dog, Buddy, with someone I had never met before. If you are feeling any type of nervous, rest assured I was feeling it as well. However, on short notice, Greg was able to take care of Buddy. He immediately began sending text, photo, and video updates which continued multiple times a day throughout Buddy’s several day stay. Greg really cares about pets and it shows in how ...

Greg is a real dog lover! We had our dog Choco stayed with Greg for a week, he send us pictures from time to time and I can tell Choco is very relaxed while staying with him. Definitely recommend to other dog parents that are looking for a responsible person to look over their furry kids!

It's very clear that Greg is a true dog lover. From every interaction with him, every update he sends, I can sense that he truly cares and loves my dog. He took my dog on multiple walks throughout the day, keeping him companied, even cuddle with him in bed. It's so comforting to receive text and photos of my dog enjoying his stay. Greg, I hope you have time for us when I need to ...

Dogs are people too!

I feel that I have a gift when it comes to dogs. I’ve always been able to connect with them deeply and understand them well. Earning a dog’s trust is always worth the effort; I love their big, messy greetings and kind, affectionate warmth. In my experience, every interaction with a dog ups our mutual happiness quotient.

For the first time in my life, I don’t have a dog of my own ...

What Greg would like to know about your dog

Just let me know about your concerns; I don’t want to overwhelm you with questions, but will certainly ask if anything may have been overlooked. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs, and I’m happy to work with any and all! I'm most experienced with Golden and Labrador Retrievers of all ages. I also have experience being a caregiver for very ill dogs, dogs who have recently had surgery, and dogs with disabilities. I've even had guide-dogs-in-training stay with me (the purpose was to acclimate them to various types of living situations and environments). I’m quite observant and attentive to a dog’s needs, and will get in touch if anything seems out of the ordinary.

I generally prefer not to take on dogs who do not get along with other dogs (in the home or outdoors around other dogs passing by). Please do specify if your dog does not get along with other dogs.

When Greg watches your pet

Aside from an occasional short errand, I'd be able to spend all day with my new furry friend. We'd likely start the day with a nice walk in the morning, and then have breakfast together. After some playtime and another walk, I’ll settle in to work while the pup hangs out nearby with a favorite toy. Later on, we might spend some time at the park, enjoy a longer walk, and follow it up with dinner. There will be plenty of potty breaks, playtime, adventures, and we’ll end the day snuggling each other to sleep! Everything depends on the individual dog’s needs, of course, so this is just one potential trajectory.
