“Lucero took wonderful care of my dog and gave her so much love and attention while I was away. They played together, went on multiple park outings, and Lucero even brushed her and spoiled her with treats. It was clear my pup felt happy, safe, and cared for the entire time. Lucero is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy — your dog will absolutely be in the best hands with her!”

“Kimberley is the best!! She kept my kitty in a smaller space so that she can acclimate better to the new location and would slowly expose my kitty to other pets if there’s any. Kimberley is very responsible and communicative. Will definitely book with her again!!”

“Justin and Kristy were great. Bagel stayed there for a week and had a great time playing with their dog and daughter. Bagel got to go out on walks around the neighborhood and a visit to the beach. Would definitely keep Bagel in their good care again.”

“Brittany was so friendly and took such great care of my doggo. This was the happiest and calm I’ve seen my dog come home from a sitter :) . She was also very responsive and checked in with updates each day including photos.”

“Romeo had a great time with Tim and Andrea! Their consistency with walks and play time made me very comfortable leaving my pup w them. And I especially loved getting a picture of Romeo everyday while I was away. Thanks again!!”

“Thank you Rosario and Ryan for another wonderful stay🥰 It was Bisco’s first overnight stay with them, and she sometimes doesn’t eat because she can get a little nervous/anxious at a stranger’s house, but she ate her meal with them just fine. Thank you for providing a clean, warm, comfortable, and safe space for Bisco🙏🏻 Will book again and highly recommend for other fur parents!”

“Carmen was wonderful with my little princess. She took great care of her and I feel like she listened to me and was very good at communication with me while she was taking care of Uma. Thank you Carmen”

“Eva was an amazing host for my pup Ulysses for 3 weeks while I was out of the country. He was as well taken care of as could be hoped for. He got all the attention and walks and outings any dog could want. I got nearly continuous daily updates and pics on how he was doing. I highly recommend!”

“Andrew was amazing! He came to the rescue in a pinch when another boarder cancelled and took such great care of Ghost. He listened, was attentive, sent lots of pics and made sure Ghost was comfortable. Andrew is very kind and a great communicator. I felt very comfortable knowing Ghost was in his care. I will definitely book him again!”

“It was our first time using Rover. We were able to do a meet and greet prior to boarding our dog with Jess and Max. Quickly, we were convinced that our Cruz would be a good fit with them. I dropped Cruz off without a glitch, Max and Jess were very responsive during our vacation. We received daily updates and pictures. We would highly recommend them.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.
“Highly recommend Alicia and James to take care of your pup while you're away. They're extremely responsive and provided a calm, welcoming environment for our dog. They sent a ton of photos which I really appreciated, and treated Luna like their own. So grateful for their help and definitely would come back again!”

“Chelsi has a lovely family, her children and her dog Leo are super super friendly to my dog. Chelsi also takes care of my dog into the very details. Sending photos/video updates many times throughout the day. Makes us worry less and she's super reliable”

“Jen was wonderful with our pup - we got updates throughout the day each day we were gone and we can tell she was cared for very well. We will definitely rebook with her in the future!”

“Travis was incredible. We were so lucky to have been recommended to him. He sent detailed updates with photos everyday and took such good care of Tess. It was the first time we had left her, so we were a bit nervous. Thanks to Travis, we felt very reassured and were able to enjoy our time away. We will be leaving Tess with him again in the future.”

Literal life safer!! Stella had the best time with Adrian! He was very attentive and communicated w me throughout her whole stay! I had to book last minute and he was able to accommodate and even was able to extend my dogs stay by a day! Will most definitely book again and highly recommend!!

Saba watched my Pomchipoo, Lucy, for the very first time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Offered pick up and drop off, which made things easy. She was incredibly responsive, kept me updated throughout the day, and sent so many photos that I always knew Lucy was happy and well cared for. Lucy is a very picky eater, and Saba even took the time to figure out little tricks to encourage her to eat, sharing those helpful tips with me. It was obvious she genuinely cared about Lucy’s comfort and well-being. Lucy came home a happy pup and I had peace of mind. I highly recommend Saba to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and thoughtful pet sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

All I can say is THANK YOU!!!! I’ve never picked up Levi and not had him jumping all over me from anxiety of me being away… he literally didn’t want to leave Alex and Jake! You guys are trustworthy and reliable and we will definitely be using your services again. :)

I had a great experience with Rinchin! She was able to take Luna last minute, which I really appreciated. She was very communicative throughout the stay and sent me lots of pictures and updates, which gave me peace of mind. She is so kind and really takes the time to get to know your dog and their personality. Luna was well cared for and happy. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! 🐾💕

Jennifer was great with our older husky. She provided great communication and pics throughout the stay and was very patient with some of our pup's quirks. We were a little nervous as we hadn't left our dog at someone else's house or boarded her before but Jennifer immediately us - and our husky - feel at ease. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great boarding experience.
Eva was absolutely incredible! Very good at communicating, she followed all of our instructions and preferences for how we like to care for our furbaby Henry! We loved receiving a of the updates and knowing he was having a wonderful time while we were away. Will definitely be booking again!

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
