What impressed us even more was how much Einstein learned during his stay. Before boarding with Andrew, our puppy was not able to consistently sit on command or comfortably go up and down stairs. Andrew patiently worked with him, and by the time we picked him up, Einstein had already made incredible progress. Andrew, his wife, and their daughter treated Einstein as if he were part of their own family. Their warmth, attentiveness, generosity, and professionalism meant the world to us. We would happily recommend Andrew to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely passionate about animals.”

About: ### Cat Care Experience Cats have been part of my life for more than 30 years, and some of my most meaningful experience has been caring for cats with complicated behavioral and medical needs. I learned the most from Lily and Ozzie, two cats I cared for for roughly 15 years. When I came into their lives, they were already dealing with a serious behavioral problem. After Ozzie survived an encounter with a coyote, he redirected his aggression toward Lily, and the two cats had to be kept separated for their safety. Using the behavioral principles and techniques taught by Jackson Galaxy, we gradually rehabilitated Ozzie to the point that they could safely share their home again. The alternative was putting Ozzie down, and we just couldn't have that. As they grew older, their needs became increasingly complex. Ozzie developed chronic gastrointestinal problems that required special diets, medication, carefully managed play and exercise, and close veterinary supervision. Lily later developed hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, recurring urinary tract infections, and intestinal motility problems. Over the years, her care included multiple medications twice a day, special dietary needs, monitoring her eating, drinking, litter-box habits and behavior, managing frequent poop accidents, frequent veterinary care, and eventually administering subcutaneous fluids at home as she became elderly. That experience taught me something I think is especially important with cats: they often tell you something is wrong very quietly. I pay attention to changes in behavior that can be easy to miss—facing a wall or withdrawing from the room, staring into space, changes in breathing, unusual vocalization, excessive grooming, changes in appetite, drinking significantly more water, changes in litter-box habits, or simply behaving differently than they normally do. I would never try to diagnose someone else's animal, but I do know when something deserves the owner's attention. My approach to everyday cat care is equally individual. Every cat gets a clean litter box, fresh water, clean food bowls, regular feeding according to their established routine, and opportunities for play and interaction. Beyond that, I let the cat tell me what kind of relationship they want. Some cats want to follow you from room to room and sleep beside you. Others would prefer that you feed them, respect their personal space, and stop being so presumptuous as to assume you've become friends after only three days. I’m comfortable with both. I never force affection or interaction on a cat that doesn't want it. I give shy or cautious cats time to decide that I'm safe, and I adjust play, brushing, handling, and companionship to the individual animal rather than expecting the animal to adjust to me. When I house-sit, I also care for the environment the cat lives in. I keep the home tidy, water plants, handle ordinary household tasks, and take care of minor issues when I reasonably can. The feedback I hear most often is that the animals seem happy and relaxed when their people return—and the house looks as though its owners never left. That's the standard I aim for.

We offer drop in visits for both cats and dogs at your house, your cats and dogs always welcome to our house, and we also offer walkings and day care. We live in a high ceiling apartment that gets a lot of sunshine. We have a plenty of space that you cat/dog feel comfortable.

About: I recently relocated to California and am currently taking some time off work, which gives me the opportunity to give your dog plenty of attention! I have experience dog-sitting for friends and grew up with a family dog, so I’m very comfortable with them and understand how important it is to leave your pup in reliable hands. Looking mostly to dog sit in our new house in Culver City :) I am available 7 days a week with the exception of some weekends. I am flexible with my schedule and do not require anything long term. The dogs can stay at my house where my fiancée and I live. I will take them on walks, hikes, and/or runs - whatever you are comfortable with!

And I am so glad to have booked with Brendan. Moose stayed with him for 5 days and came back super tired from the adventures with Brendan. “Randy is awesome! He and his partner, Jenna, took such great care of Oliver over the weekend while I attended a work event. Randy kept me updated on Oliver’s care with plenty of photos and videos, including walks and playtime with his Bernedoodle, Huxley. I felt reassured knowing Oliver was in such good hands and having a great time playing with Huxley. I especially appreciated that Randy followed my wishes and kept Oliver on his regular meal and nap schedule, helping him maintain the same routine he has at home.
