About: I got my first dog at 11 years old and along the way I’ve come to own cats, small animals, and fishes. In high school and college I spent some time volunteering at animals shelters shelters/organizations. In the most recent years I worked at a pet store, and gained a lot of hands on experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fishes. I also became a certified dog trainer and groomer. About: I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

I cared for my senior cat (Mariah Kitty like Mariah Carey) with stage 4 kidney disease for 6 months, administering fluids, medications, and daily monitoring until she passed. Because of that experience, I’m very confident with special instructions, routines, and gentle medical care. I currently care for two purebred pets with specific needs — a corgi with early-onset arthritis and a Persian cat who requires regular eye cleaning, coat upkeep, and hygiene care (you know what I mean by hygiene care if you have a long haired pet..). This has taught me patience, detail-oriented care, and how to keep pets calm and comfortable even when tasks aren’t their favorite. For dog walking: I tailor the walk to your dog’s age, speed, and mobility — whether they need a slow stroll, a structured walk, or a little extra exercise. About: Hi everyone ! I’m quite new to Rover, but I am extremely experienced when it comes to loving and caring for your four-legged family members. I’ve dealt with caring for my senior Boxer dog who lived a happy, healthy life. I now have 3 boxers at home. I’m most experienced with high-energy dogs (such as my boxers) but of course love dogs like couch-potato bulldogs or pugs! I truly love all dogs no matter what breed and It would truly be my pleasure to get the chance to love, care and play with other dogs! Whenever friends or family need their pets to be watched over, I’m usually one of the first people they reach out to! I currently work a part time job where the schedule is two 12 hour shifts a week, with 5 days off. Meaning, I am available to care for your fur babies! I get my schedule a month and a half in advance so please contact me to see which dates I am available ! Unfortunately I do not offer In-Home care, but I would be very comfortable caring for pets in their own home, where I know they’d feel safest. About: I've had pets my entire life. I understand that they're a treasured member of the family. I'm also a weekly volunteer at the LA County Carson/Gardena Animal Shelter. I've received extra training on animal behavior & handling. I love giving animals whatever type of attention they need and I'm extremely patient with them. I'm equally comfortable with dogs & cats (and pretty much everything except orca whales). Overnight stays, walks, giving medication, litter boxes, feeding, you name it. Petting animals is good for our mental health, so let's meet more pets! I work full time in an office Mon-Thurs with an hour commuteon each end. While I can do overnight house sitting, I'm gone all day (12hrs) at work so not available for walks/potty breaks. I work remotely on Fridays, so lots of flexibility. I have two extremely particular kitties at home, so unfortunately I cannot offer care in my own home. But I am happy to come to yours!
