It was a pleasure working with Elaine. She's very responsive and reliable. It's clear she has a lot of experience with animals and working with others people's pets. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup in her hands. She kept me updated with photos and videos, and let me know how my dog did during her walk and afterwards. Will definitely be booking for services with Elaine in the future.

About: I got my first dog at 11 years old and along the way I’ve come to own cats, small animals, and fishes. In high school and college I spent some time volunteering at animals shelters shelters/organizations. In the most recent years I worked at a pet store, and gained a lot of hands on experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fishes. I also became a certified dog trainer and groomer. At the moment I don’t have many obligations so it’s allowed for my availability to be open. I’m pretty flexible to schedule with! Please contact me within a reasonable amount of time for the holiday. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! As a dog trainer and groomer your pet’s safety and comfort is a priority to me. I know that worrisome feeling of what it is to leave my babies in the hands of someone else, and I carry that same sentiment when interacting with your babies. My experience a trainer and groomer has given me the ultimate insight of reading body language and the importance of paying attention to details.

Thank you David! Our pup was a little shy at first and David coaxed him out of hiding and won him over big time before taking him on a fun walk. We really appreciated your patience with him and keeping us posted on how it went. Would love to have you walk him again! Thanks so much, Lisa

About: Hi! I’m a fellow dog mama who has booked walks and drop-ins for my own dog.. so I truly understand the trust it takes to hand over the leash. 🐾 I know what it feels like to leave your pup to a stranger, and the love you have for them in doing so, which is exactly why I care so much about communication, safety, and making sure your dog feels comfortable and happy. I stick to routines, give lots of love (if pup allows) and make sure your pup gets the exercise, attention, and stimulation they need. Whether it’s a structured walk, a quick potty break, or some company while you’re away, I treat every dog like they’re my own. You’ll get photo updates, clear communication, and peace of mind knowing your dog is with someone who genuinely gets it, because I’ve been on your side plenty of times. Im currently working part time so my schedule can be flexible for drops ins and weekly walks. Especially in the early mornings and late evenings! I ensure that your pup is with me only at all times. I’m watching them like a hawk bc I have a beagle that tries to vacuum everything so I’m hyper aware of what your pup is sniffing.

About: I’ve absolutely adored animals since I was 4yrs old. I started getting educated on animals at a young age and knew my dream was to work with animals. I started my professional career in the industry in 2017. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for a year, then moved on to a facility for dogs and cats, which I worked at from 2018-2022. Over the years at these facilities, I’ve learned about proper care, training and grooming techniques for dogs, and care for cats. I have plenty of experience working with different breeds of dogs from the smallest teacup poodle, to the chunkiest bulldog, to the biggest Great Dane. I’ve worked with many different breeds, sizes and personalities in large daycare groups, so I’ve learned how to manage different demeanors in different settings. With cats, I understand their boundaries and don’t like to force any interaction on them, but if they are comfortable with it I give them lots of love. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and rodents. At the shelter, I focused on learning how to properly care for rodents and cats. *I don’t discriminate against any pet’s breed, size, age, medical condition, etc. I treat them all with the best care.* **I am able to dispense oral medication to pets if necessary. I AM NOT CERTIFIED TO GIVE INJECTION (NEEDLE INVOLVED) MEDICATION** I work part time in Gardena in the afternoon-evening Mon-Fri, but typically am home or close by during most of the day and on weekends. I tend to stay local when running errands. My apartment is gated and a code or key is needed to enter the premises. We have a large grass area right out front, which is not gated. There’s plenty of grass and parks in the neighborhood to go to during walks. My apartment is on the second floor with the luxury of having the parking garage underneath me, so your pet running around the house won’t disturb anyone! I stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times for safety purposes. I have multiple rooms and gates to separate pets when necessary (feeding, bedtime, rest breaks…etc.) My pets are flea treated regularly and stay up to date on their vaccines. **IMPORTANT NOTICE BELOW!!! In order to keep my home a healthy and clean environment for all, IF PETS ARRIVE WITH FLEAS I require a $50-$100 cleaning fee AND a flea bath may apply with a MINIMUM charge of $38/pet bathed. I HIGHLY recommend flea treatments and checking your pets for fleas BEFOREHAND to avoid additional charges. ADDITIONALLY, if your pet causes any damages to my property there will be a MINIMUM charge of $25 for repairs/replacements.**

About: Hiiiii! I’m Taylor — a lifelong dog and cat mom with a true passion for giving pets the individualized care they deserve. I’ve had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and for the past decade of adulthood I’ve always owned at least one of each. I’m extremely comfortable with all ages, personalities, and care needs. I have extensive experience with senior and medically fragile pets. I cared for my senior cat (Mariah Kitty like Mariah Carey) with stage 4 kidney disease for 6 months, administering fluids, medications, and daily monitoring until she passed. Because of that experience, I’m very confident with special instructions, routines, and gentle medical care. I currently care for two purebred pets with specific needs — a corgi with early-onset arthritis and a Persian cat who requires regular eye cleaning, coat upkeep, and hygiene care (you know what I mean by hygiene care if you have a long haired pet..). This has taught me patience, detail-oriented care, and how to keep pets calm and comfortable even when tasks aren’t their favorite. Whether your pet needs slow walks, daily medication, extra brushing, enrichment, or just someone loving and reliable to hang out with them, I’d love love LOVE to help. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone, and I treat every animal I watch like one of my own. I was recently laid off so other than trips to go visit my family out of state and job searching, I am available to care for pets morning to evening! I can wake up early and stay up late if your family needs it. I provide care in your home only, so your pets can stay in their familiar environment and routine. I always adapt to whatever schedule, rules, and preferences your pet is used to — meals, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, crate time, bedtime routines, and anything else you need. For house sitting: I maintain your pet’s normal daily rhythm and keep your home clean, safe, and secure. I give plenty of companionship, enrichment, and calm presence, especially for pets with anxiety or special needs. They can feel when our energy is off you know? For drop-in visits: I make sure your pet gets bathroom breaks, fresh food and water, medication if needed, and lots of attention. I also handle small things like litter scooping, brushing, basic cleaning, and photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I promise I will send you the BEST content while you're missing them! For dog walking: I tailor the walk to your dog’s age, speed, and mobility — whether they need a slow stroll, a structured walk, or a little extra exercise. Safety is always the priority, and I keep your dog on-leash unless you specify otherwise. My goal is to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving you complete peace of mind.

About: Hi everyone ! I’m quite new to Rover, but I am extremely experienced when it comes to loving and caring for your four-legged family members. I’ve dealt with caring for my senior Boxer dog who lived a happy, healthy life. I now have 3 boxers at home. I’m most experienced with high-energy dogs (such as my boxers) but of course love dogs like couch-potato bulldogs or pugs! I truly love all dogs no matter what breed and It would truly be my pleasure to get the chance to love, care and play with other dogs! Whenever friends or family need their pets to be watched over, I’m usually one of the first people they reach out to! I currently work a part time job where the schedule is two 12 hour shifts a week, with 5 days off. Meaning, I am available to care for your fur babies! I get my schedule a month and a half in advance so please contact me to see which dates I am available ! Unfortunately I do not offer In-Home care, but I would be very comfortable caring for pets in their own home, where I know they’d feel safest. I accustom to the pet’s home where I can provide the best care!

About: I've had pets my entire life. I understand that they're a treasured member of the family. I'm also a weekly volunteer at the LA County Carson/Gardena Animal Shelter. I've received extra training on animal behavior & handling. I love giving animals whatever type of attention they need and I'm extremely patient with them. I'm equally comfortable with dogs & cats (and pretty much everything except orca whales). Overnight stays, walks, giving medication, litter boxes, feeding, you name it. Petting animals is good for our mental health, so let's meet more pets! I work full time in an office Mon-Thurs with an hour commuteon each end. While I can do overnight house sitting, I'm gone all day (12hrs) at work so not available for walks/potty breaks. I work remotely on Fridays, so lots of flexibility. I have two extremely particular kitties at home, so unfortunately I cannot offer care in my own home. But I am happy to come to yours!
