About: I started caring for dogs and cats when I was in middle school. Over the years, family friends, neighbors, and personal connections have trusted me to care for their pets while they were away. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, administering basic care, and providing plenty of love and attention, I always treat every pet as if they were my own. Spending time with animals is truly a joy, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I am currently on my summer break from college and have open availability until the end of August! I am very flexible and always open to meeting your lovely animals! When I am in a clients home caring for their pet, my ultimate goal is keep their routine consistent and stress-free in order to encourage a comfortable environment while you’re away. All instructions provided will be carefully read, understood, and implemented! It’s important to acknowledge that every animal has their own unique personality and needs, requiring different levels of care, patience, and attention which I am happy to provide. Additionally, I understand the level of trust it takes to let someone into your home. I will ensure your home is treated with my utmost respect and is returned to exactly the way you left it! I can always provide photos of your pets or space if you would like.

About: I have lived alongside pets for my entire life, and I most definitely wouldn’t have it any other way. I love going on walks with my puppy, Charlie, and have experience with dogs with all different temperaments, because I love all the different personalities and feelings dogs have: stubborn, wild, curious, restless, wild, rowdy, you name it! I enjoy walking dogs and sitting for pets because they’re excellent company and tons of fun. I would love to meet you and your pet! I am free from 8AM to 5PM! I am currently in between jobs and usually require only a day's notice for dog walking and visits. I prioritize your and your pets’ comfort through communication, understanding, and accommodation. About: Experienced with both young and older dogs and cats. I am very patient and loving with all animals and ensure play time is taken care of whether that means a long walk or playing fetch. Indoor animals need playtime as well and I can make sure we get the zoomies out! I work from home 3 days a week and have a pretty standard work schedule. I am free on weekends. I can do long walks with your furry friend as well as house sit. I will ensure all their needs are met if I happen to be watching them on a day that I am not in the office. I have a very leisure schedule so there is lots of time for play time and walks. I ensure doors are never left open whether that be the front/back door or cabinet doors. Especially if there are cleaning supplies or any other chemicals in said cabinets. I also ensure I am educated on what plants are not animal friendly and ensure those are put away in high places where animals cannot get to them. I ensure all water bowls are filled before I leave and that feedings/treat handouts are done. If there are any tote bags or any bags with handles, I make sure those are put away as well. Of course I make sure anything plastic or small that might be ingested is put away as well.

We have scheduled Jack for dog sitting for an upcoming 10 day vacation. To help my dogs become familiar with Jack, we scheduled several dog walking visits beforehand. He is good natured with dogs and they warm up to him easily. I know we will have a very restful and relaxing vacation knowing our dogs will be in good hands with Jack. .

  • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
