I fostered a Belgian Mal rescue dog from Mexico for 6 months, and helped acclimate him to life in a home, and did leash and crate training with him. I've cared for cats, small dogs, large dogs, including an adorable (and ginormous) Labradoodle puppy. Last summer I volunteered to transport two rescue puppies to the US from Puerto Rico. About: currently working in an animal emergency hospital for 4 years! i’ve worked with dogs 3x my weight, and cats who climb the walls. there is nothing new to me in the animal field working 5 days a week at an animal emergency hospital, most are early shifts so i have a big bulk of my day free to pet sit! mentally i’m never really clocked out the key is to have your energy feel as if your at ease with the pet no matter the environment. they can definitely sense your energy! i’m high energy myself and can be the best for really active pets, whether it’s going out for runs or playing fetch, or providing mentally stimulating treat games with them!

For those puppers that have incontinence issues, I have a wonderful set up of a large plastic dog play pen which can be lined with pee pee pads, see my profile pics. You supply the pee pads- largest size when possible. Most of the dogs love the play pen- it has a doggy door, and so does the house.
About: Experienced with both young and older dogs and cats. I am very patient and loving with all animals and ensure play time is taken care of whether that means a long walk or playing fetch. Indoor animals need playtime as well and I can make sure we get the zoomies out! I work from home 3 days a week and have a pretty standard work schedule. I am free on weekends. I can do long walks with your furry friend as well as house sit. I will ensure all their needs are met if I happen to be watching them on a day that I am not in the office. I have a very leisure schedule so there is lots of time for play time and walks. I ensure doors are never left open whether that be the front/back door or cabinet doors. Especially if there are cleaning supplies or any other chemicals in said cabinets. I also ensure I am educated on what plants are not animal friendly and ensure those are put away in high places where animals cannot get to them. I ensure all water bowls are filled before I leave and that feedings/treat handouts are done. If there are any tote bags or any bags with handles, I make sure those are put away as well. Of course I make sure anything plastic or small that might be ingested is put away as well.

They will customize the amount of updates you'd like to receive and they were definitely on point for us.
