Fun pet lover!
My name is Andrea and I love to care for pets. I have been working as a dog walker for over 7 years now. I've been surrounded by dogs since a child.. I had multiple breeds including a black Lab, Poodle mix, Yorkie, and Pitbull. I appreciate all animals including cats! I love to walk dogs, it’s fun and good exercise. Dogs amaze me because they’re so kind, loving and loyal. I like to walk dogs in my free time because I don’t have any dogs of my own right now. Being surrounded by a dog or dogs makes me genuinely happy. I love to care for them. I have done dog sittings, walks, and boardings before. I usually take them on 30-minute walks on the beach or to a park. I make sure they get lots of time outside, cuddles and hugs! You can count on me to give your fur baby all of the love!

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, I have a fenced yard in the backyard and the front yard. Depending on the dog, I usually let them off the leash in the backyard since it is secure. I am very careful and attentive to them. I let them sleep with me or I can let them sleep on a dog bed/in a crate. If the owner requests them to sleep in their designated area, I will abide by that and make sure the dog is taken outside for potty breaks and walks.

I’ve used Andrea multiple times now. One with only 1 dog and one with 4 dogs! She did great eveytime.
Andrea was great with Astro! Astro was newly adopted and this was his first time alone. I had an emergency appointment and was worried about leaving him for the first time. It went great! Astro was comfortable around Andrea really quick which was very sweet and very helpful. She is friendly, professional, great with dogs, and a very kind and patient person! Would definitely recommend her and book her again! Thanks Andrea!
Andrea was great! Would def book her again, I needed her an hour past my scheduled time and she kindly accepted and my dog seemed very happy with her too.

Andrea cancelled our two appointments . She did not show for the first appointment even though we talked frequently because she could or would not locate my home and then cancelled the 2nd. I called and spoke to someone on the help line to find out why the cancellations. I was told that I would be contacted after they spoke to Andrea. Have not heard from anyone. I needed a sitter for my dog who just had surgery and could not be left alone. I had to cancel an important meeting. I don’t think this is how a service like Rover should operate. Still waiting to be rembursed. I will not use Rover again

Schedule
I have a lot of down time when I’m not working so I have plenty of time to care for dogs/cats on the side. My schedule can vary monthly but I typically am available early mornings, mid afternoons, and weekends. I have a different schedule every month but I am mobile and very flexible!
