Wanda is in a nice neighborhood in Long beach which made us feel safe leaving our dog with her. Our dog hasn’t been around other dogs so we really appreciated that she only takes 1 client at a time. She made extra effort to make our dog feel comfortable with Gidget as well. About: I joined Rover in October 2025 but I’ve been caring for animals for decades and have a deep appreciation for the comfort and companionship they bring. Before joining Rover, I was (and still am!) the go-to resource for friends and family who needed cat, dog, and house sitting. Now, I’m excited serve the Long Beach community :) Whether I’m spending time with a playful pup or a senior, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. I can also provide care in the early or late evenings, working around dinner and gym time. For house sitting requests, I am currently able to offer spending 8-10 hours with your pet during the day, but am unable to offer overnight care at this time. I do my best to keep pets comfortable by sticking to their usual routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medication, training, and anything else they need. I’m careful with doors and gates, clean up after them and myself, and send updates so you know how things are going.
About: Growing up, we were a family of animal lovers, from fish to turtles to cats to dogs. We loved them all! We've had many generations of loving furbabies in and out of the home and I absolutely love being able to show them a little love back with some of my spare time. I am looking to meet new people and pets with some of my time outside of work. I'm hoping to stay active alongside keeping your pups happy and healthy. I want to ensure your pets' safety first and foremost and will make sure to keep them happy and healthy while in a safe space.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for 5 years. I love walking dogs and playing with the animals when house sitting. I always ask what the owners want and follow their instructions. For house sitting can come multiple times a day. Bringing good energy and ready for a walk or play time. I work part time but can come any time on Monday, Tuesday, and can do walks Wednesday through Sunday before 3:40 pm. I am always on the go and love going on beach walks or just walking around the neighbor hoods. For house sitting I can check on the animals through the day and after work can spend the night or do a night check. I take care of our neighbor dog and two cats when she is off traveling. Usually come in the morning and feed animals and play with them. Then I take the dog for a beach walk or we go on a jog in the neighbor hood. Then I come back around lunch and get all the zoomies out check on them and play with them. Then I go before work and after work to let them out and check on them. Before work we usually go on a 20 minute walk just to get them outside. The cats usually follow us on the second walk.

About: i’ve worked with animals over 6 years I have pets of my own so I know that we just want the best for them. I’ve worked with huge pets and small pets and even some with medical conditions so if they need to be accommodated just let me know I am currently working part time so I will be updating my schedule constantly but I will be available on weekdays and even weekends . I want your pet to feel like their in a familiar space so whatever you do to make them feel comfortable I will do my best to match that

About: UW–Madison Kinesiology grad, now a medical student. I'm comfortable giving oral and injected meds, and I care for senior dogs. I've had Mamba, my Lab, for 6 years and I'm raising Cleo, my young Doberman/cattle dog mix, so I know high-energy pups. I'm on a flexible fall schedule and available Monday–Saturday any time for walks and drop-ins. Sundays I'm available for house sitting. You'll get photo updates every visit, and I'll keep your dog's feeding and potty routine exactly as you do it. On walks I use a secure leash and harness and check for heat and hazards. For boarding, your dog stays in a house with a small fenced dog run, one family at a time, crate-trained dogs only. My Lab Mamba is the only dog in the home, and I never leave dogs unsupervised with him until we've done a slow, supervised introduction.
