Any other maladaptive quirks like chewing on household objects are good to flag as well.
A typical day
Absolute top of the list is to go on a beach run for local neighborhood dogs (Alamitos/downtown). Playing in the backyard or a nearby park is always a good go to.

I grew up in "Charlotte's Web" (my mother). From being raised among and caring for everything from goats to reptiles to doggos and cats, connecting with animals has been a lifelong passion. I have 5+ years experience on Rover and 15 years independently. I have fostered , adopted and cared for a full range of low to high needs cats and dogs throughout my life. I consider my curiosity for and ability to empathize with our furry friends a core part of who I am and what brings me joy in life. Brendan has made us feel like we can travel again! As we have a senior dog, we are reluctant to leave him--he's set in his ways and does not like changes to his routine which causes stress (for him and for us). Brendan set us at ease immediately. He has an extensive experience with all types of dogs, and was well aware of the unique needs of seniors: funky about feeding, different types of meds and med schedules, and the possibility of incontinence. Brendan took all of this in stride AND made us feel confident he could manage any issues should they arise. From day one, Brendan sent pictures and updates and was very communicative about Maxwell's behavior, habits and general well-being while we were gone. Although it was a lengthy stay (8 nights), he was communicative throughout and took good care of our home. I would have Brendan at our home again without question. I felt comfortable and confident that he would take good care of our sweet Maxwell. He got to know his personality and quickly seemed to understand Maxwell and that was clear in his communications with us.
Brendan is very responsive and easy to schedule with. He was also very kind and patient with my dog who can be pretty stubborn at times.
Had a great experience with Brendan for our first time with Rover. He was easy to coordinate with, patient and kind with our dog, and was very communicative while watching her!
It was the first time we left our puppy and we were so nervous. Brendan was incredibly communicative and sent us so many pictures & videos over the 3 days that made us feel at ease. It also looked like our puppy was having the time of her life with him! Can't recommend him enough!
