I’ve been taking care of doggos my whole life as they were an integral part of my childhood. I have a very kind and present manner with pets to make sure that they know they are loved and cared for at all times.

shelby did amazing with my Betty girl. She made her feel comfortable and safe. She was played with and wen y on walks , when she sent me updates and pictures of her. She just looked like she was in her own little space. I’m usually a worrier but it made me feel calm and I was able to enjoy my getaway, knowing she was in great hands. Thank you so much Shelby for loving my little girl. Can’t wait to call again.

I work from home and manage my own schedule, so I have the opportunity to be pretty flexible so I can accommodate your pet sitting needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I always like to know what the rules are first to make sure that I do not disrupt your dogs routine. Making sure they stay regulated throughout the dog sitting experience is my most important concern. Change and strangers can be scary to our fur friends, I do everything I can to make sure they are comfortable and safe.
A typical day
I love building connection with pups and making sure they can trust me before we move into any activity. I start with smaller, low stakes activities like asking them to sit, walking a few steps away, and then calling their name and rewarding with their preferred love; treats, words, or pets! Once we both feel comfortable, I pay close attention to the pup to learn what really stimulates them and feel proud of themself, whether it’s searching for something, running for a ball, or walking with me around the house. I focus on catering to the needs of the dog as they change throughout the day.
