Tessa has been working with and walking my reactive dog for the past 2 months trying to gain his trust in preparation for this trip. It’s been a complete success! He did so well under her care. “Previous canine members of my wife's and my family have had very good experiences boarding with Rover caregivers, but my wife and I realized that Annie, whom we adopted in July, would not be happy in a space other than her own, so, we searched Rover for a house-sitter to care for Annie while we traveled overnight to celebrate Thanksgiving with out-of-town family. My wife and I are very grateful that we were able through Rover to find Quiana and arrange for her to be with Annie while we were away. Our favorable impression of Quiana, created by her prompt response to our initial inquiry, was reinforced and amplified by every subsequent contact with her. Quiana's love of dogs, as well as her knowledge about them and her talents in communicating with them and handling them, were evident during our "meet and greet". She kept us informed about Annie during our absence by sending messages, photos, and videos; the latter indicated to us that Annie was enjoying Quiana's stay thoroughly and not missing us at all! When we returned home we found that Quiana had not only carried out our instructions for her but had 'gone above and beyond' them, as well. The experience overall was exceptional. My wife and I hope that Quiana will be available whenever we need someone to care for Annie in the future, and we recommend Quiana enthusiastically to others who need a house-sitter to care for their dogs.”

She mainly relaxes throughout the day being an older dog but loves to fetch or play with her friends. She is a huge snuggle bunny and loves to cuddle up with me and other dog friends. I cherish a fun, loving, and safe environment for all. I always make sure the yard is secured when outside and that they are on a leash at all times when on walks. I have trained dogs before so know when to greet other dogs. I always make sure the dogs are comfortable with fresh, clean water, and their daily food. I always try to maintain the same routine they are used to and give them the time they need to adjust. I prefer to do meet and greets before accepting the invitation to better understand the dog and owner's needs.

If they are an outside animal they will get plenty of walks and even for inside animals they will get plenty of attention. She will be a great addition to the rover team. “It is sometimes hard to put trust in someone that will stay with your dogs when you are away. I interviewed Miranda and took a chance and boy, am I glad I did. We had a fantastic vacation and didn't have to worry if the dogs were being taken care of. She promptly answered our calls and sent pictures of our dogs. She took care of our house around a time when fireworks are a problem for our dog and gave the required medication. She watched our house as it was her own and we would highly recommend her.”
