“I was nervous at first to leave my dog with anyone other than family but from day one Tatiana eased all my fears. She was so patient and attentive to mine and Canela’s needs. She sent videos and photos daily which let me see how well cared for my furbaby was in real time. My puppy was so happy in her care and didn’t seem to miss a beat. I am so thankful to have found her on Rover already looking to book again in the future.”

“Knox absolutely loved his time with Brian!! I sincerely appreciate how well he took care of my little buddy. And all of the pictures and videos Knox looked like he was having the best time!”

“Nick and Cora were great with our chow chow. They took him for many walks and kept him company. They were great for me too, sending many pictures and texts to let me know how he was doing. Six stars!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Shannon is such a sweetheart, and I’m extremely happy with the care she gave Nibbles. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Artem was incredible! Our other Rover sitter fell through at the last minute, and he willingly took in our pup that same day, so we could catch our flight on time! He was very responsive, and it was clear that he kept a safe and structured environment for the dogs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call on him the next time we need our dog boarded. Thank you again, Artem!”

“Gina was a wonderful caregiver to my almost 14 yr old Boston terrier for the weekend while I was away moving. She was able to take Lena on short notice which I’m very grateful to her for. My dog really enjoyed her stay!”

“This was my first time using Rover. Jenny and family took good care of our doggie. I enjoyed getting pictures of him to see how he was doing. I will definitely be using her again. This was a great first experience.”

“Lori was absolutely spectacular. Hands down the best pet sitter! She took care of our dog as if he were her own and sent us frequent updates and pictures. In fact, he was having such a good time playing ball in her yard, meeting the neighborhood dogs, and going for long walks that we were certain he wouldn't want to come home! Our vacation turned out to be a vacation for our dog as well, and that is awesome. We knew he would be safe, active and happy with Lori and her family.”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“Stephanie was great! She sent several photo updates throughout Luka’s stay, which I really appreciated. Luka had a great time, and I felt he was well taken care of. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I've always known I was an animal person! I've grown up with cats and dogs since I was 5 years old — 7 family cats and 5 family dogs throughout the years — so I'm familiar with every stage, from puppy and kitten energy all the way through senior care. Personally, I have 3 wonderful pups of my own. We're an active household: we walk every day and make sure to play and engage with them throughout the day, so I understand firsthand what it takes to keep a dog happy, healthy, and mentally stimulated. As someone with three dogs of my own, it's important to me to provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pups. I want you to feel confident that your dog will be looked after just as they would be in your own home with the same patience, attention, and love. I am present full time for your pup! Care fits right into my everyday routine rather than being squeezed in around it, so your dog gets consistent attention throughout the day. After I have a better understanding of your pup's routine we'll go on walks, play in our fenced front and back yard with lots of grass to enjoy, and I'll send you pics and updates along the way so you can see how they're doing. For rest and downtime, we have a private, dog-friendly ADU set up specifically for our furry guests to decompress after play and meals. I'm present in the ADU with them, and we also have a Furbo camera set up for extra monitoring. If your pup enjoys canine company, my Australian Shepherd will keep them company there; if your pup prefers to be the only dog, we'll give them their own separated space and time instead, tailored to what makes them most comfortable. Throughout the day, care naturally rotates between active time outside and quiet time in the ADU, so your pup gets a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and rest with me nearby the whole time. Your pet's safety is my top priority, both indoors and out. My front and back yards are fully fenced and gated, with an added interior gate leading to the backyard for extra security. I never let dogs outside unsupervised for extended periods, and I always do a visual check of the yard and gate latches before letting anyone out. We have cameras covering the front yard, so we never open the door to unfamiliar people, and dogs are always leashed the moment we step outside the fenced area. Indoors, I keep household chemicals, medications, and anything toxic to pets safely stored away, and I make sure trash cans and food are out of reach. I follow each pet's normal feeding, water, and bathroom schedule as closely as possible, and I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. If I'm caring for multiple pets at once, I introduce them slowly and supervise their interactions until I'm confident everyone is comfortable together.
“Yiyu was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking. She was extremely communicative with sending updates and pictures. We felt PeeWee was in GREAT hands which allowed us to have a worry and stress free time away. We will definitely be booking with Yiyu again! Thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“Qing was amazing to our pup, she sent video and photo updates the whole stay to assure us our pet was well taken cared of. Highly recommend and we will use her again!”

“Tbh she makes me feel like I’m with my dog just without the responsibilities. She takes great care of him as if he is her own. Can’t express how grateful we are to have found her. Both the puppy and us have a great experience every single time!!!! Totally recommend her hands down.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced dog owner living in the Seaside neighborhood of Torrance. I currently have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a Mini Australian Shepherd, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. My dogs are part of my family, and we stay active every day. We enjoy daily walks, hiking, trips to the dog beach, and playdates. I know how important it is for dogs to get both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I work from home during the week, and now that my kids are away at college, I have more time to dedicate to caring for pets. Whether your dog needs a neighborhood walk, extra exercise, or a longer adventure on a local hiking trail, I’d love to help keep them happy, healthy, and active. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand that trust, safety, and communication are the most important parts of caring for someone else’s beloved companion. SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY Your dog’s safety, my safety, and the safety of my pets are always my top priorities. I welcome friendly dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to large breeds—as long as they are comfortable being handled by someone new. Because every dog is different, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new clients. For dog walking, I’d like to meet your dog first to ensure we’re both comfortable together and that your dog walks calmly on a leash around people and other dogs. If I’m caring for your dog in my home, a meet-and-greet with my dogs is also required to make sure everyone gets along and feels comfortable. While I have many years of experience caring for dogs, I am not a professional dog trainer or behaviorist. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly with people and can be safely managed on walks and in new environments. If your dog has a history of aggression toward people or other dogs, I may not be the right sitter for your pet. I love puppies and will take in un-spayed or un neutered young puppies (less than 9 months old), at my discretion. I work remote from home and have the flexibility to visit or walk your dog. I have my own three dogs that hang out with me when I work at my desk. I have some flexibility to take a dog to join us to hang out for the day or night. I walk the dogs every afternoon. I have a fenced yard, three friendly dogs to keep your’s company and an XL crate if needed. If I am dog sitting, I would not leave your dog home alone and unattended. There is shaded patio, artificial turf for running and not getting dirty, I have a magnetic screen so my dogs are free to walk in and out of the house at leisure.
“Chen and her family were amazing with my senior puppy, Dudley. Dudley is an 18-year-old terrier mix that is moving around much slower these days. I had a last-minute need due to my usual dog boarder becoming unavailable a few days before 12 day trip to Italy. Chen was able to meet with Dudley and the meet last minute request. They were amazing with Dudley and am very grateful.”

“Kyle was amazing with our puppy Lofi!!!!!! I cannot overstate how well he took care of her. She was so happy to be there. We got frequent pictures (all of which we saved because duh!!) and she got great socialization opportunities as an 8 month old. We have utmost trust in Kyle and will be coming back whenever we can’t bring our little loaf with us. We are so impressed and thankful we met you!”

“Amanda took the BEST care of our baby Bentley over the holidays! We felt so at peace knowing he was safe and loved by Amanda and her husband (and their cat!). She sent us frequent picture updates and made sure Bentley kept up with the routine/trainings we started at home. Our flight was delayed coming back from vacation and Amanda was so accommodating, allowing Bentley to stay an extra night. We will definitely book again!”

“This is the second time Carolyn has taken care of our cats and she’s the best! She is always on time, sends thorough updates and plenty of photos! My cats feel at ease with her, enjoy her company and it gives me peace of mind that they are well taken care of. I highly recommend Carolyn.”

“Donny was amazing with my four kitties while I was away! He took great care of them. Even giving my special boy, Sunny, his insulin shots twice a day. We even met before I left to make sure everything would go smoothly. Donny is professional, kind, and truly cares about animals. I never had to worry. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a reliable and loving cat sitter!”

“Ginny was AWESOME! Lisa cat is not especially social, but Ginny managed to engage with her during our nine days away and sent lots of fun pics. The house was well cared for and mail and packages picked up daily. I hope to use Ginny every time we travel!!”

“Carissa is always awesome! We use her every time we are gone and my kitty just loves her. She is thorough, thoughtful and just so loving with our kitty. She even helped out our kitty with an ant issue in her food while we were gone. She took care of the mess and moved it all for her so that she would still be able to eat her food without the ants in them. So thankful!! She is wonderful!”

“Elika was great! We had an ant infestation while we were gone and she let me know about it and handled it for us. 🙏 She was reliable, friendly and went above and beyond! I will definitely hire her again.”

“Catherine is so nice and was amazing with our cat!! She sent so many pictures and played with our cat. Will definitely book Catherine again the next time we need a sitter 🫶🏻😊”

“This was our first time using Rover for drop-in visits, and Erik made the experience very smooth. He even did a meet-up beforehand to make sure our dog was comfortable with him. He was very responsive and great at giving updates, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend him!”

About: I've had a lot of experience caring for cats of all ages along with cats with specific dietary and health needs. In addition to being able to administer medicine and monitor any health concerns, I am able to do simpler things such as regularly clean their litter box, feed them, change water, etc.
About: I have always loved working and playing with animals! For many years I volunteered at the dog adoption days every Saturday at PetSmart. My chores around the house involve both bathing and walking my dogs. I have walked and hosted both my cousins dogs and my next door neighbor’s. I love working out and getting outdoors, so dog walking is a perfect way to do that as well as benefiting the dog too. My schedule is super flexible, especially because I am a grad student with very few classes and all of them are online. Some of the things I like to do in my free time involve running, swimming, crafting, baking, hanging with friends, and eating. Being around and playing with animals immediately makes me happy! I am very flexible with my schedule and would be willing to dog sit and dog walk accordingly to needed days and times. Thank you! I walk my dogs according to their need and feed at certain times a day. I love playing fetch and giving attention to all dogs and cats.

About: I’ve taken care of cats my entire like. I’m a proud cat owner for the past three years where I have full experience taking care of cats. Also, I often take care of my mother in law’s cat as needed. I’m excited to make new cat friends!

“Courtney took care of Taco for 10 days at her place, I am so thankful. She kept me updated and sent photos while I was out of the country. I’ve never left him this long, but she made sure he was given all the cuddles and attention he needed. Definitely recommend her! I will be coming back to her in the future. Thanks again Courtney!!”

About: I’ve had cats all my life and dogs (huskies) since 1985. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and feed their pets. I am now retired so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily accommodate request for early morning, mid day or evening visits & walks. I always leash my dog before opening the door so that there is no chance of escape and can easily crate your dog or cat if requested.

About: I’ve been caring for cats for family and friends for many years and am comfortable with cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats who may need a little extra patience and attention. I understand that every cat has their own personality and boundaries. Some want constant cuddles and playtime, while others prefer having their space and getting attention on their own terms. I’m happy to follow your cat’s normal routine so they can feel as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, play and enrichment, brushing, and following detailed care instructions. I can also follow established medication schedules and administer routine oral or topical medications as directed. For kittens, I’m happy to provide plenty of supervised play and enrichment, and for senior cats, I’m comfortable providing a calmer environment, extra attention, and keeping a close eye on any changes in their normal behavior or routine. Most importantly, I’ll treat your cat with the same patience, love, and respect I’d want for my own — and I’m always happy to send plenty of photos and updates! 🐱💕

“Delaney was a godsend for an unexpected LA weekend. My golden retriever (and best friend) was immediately comfortable with her and pleased to never leave and just sit at her feet. She was communicative, friendly, and a wonderful guardian to my pet. I hope more travel in the area allows me to book her again, bc I had no worries. You can tell right away that’s she’s an animal lover and goes above and beyond for our furry friends. Thanks again, Delaney!”

“Kimberly was awesome! She was very accommodating to my last minute request for a sitter. She sent plenty of photos and updates of my puppy and took her on 3 big walks! I love that she has a fenced yard for my dog to run around in. My pup came home very tired, which is a great indicator that she had a fun day. I will definitely use Kimberly again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“I just started using Perla’s daycare service this week, but I can’t already tell she’s AMAZING!! I thoroughly recommend her, and she’s been a lifesaver while my dog’s been recovering from surgery (alas, I must work). I don’t know how she finds the time to take all the pictures she does and uploads them to the Rover platform, but it’s reassuring to see that my fur baby’s being well taken care of. As you can see from the reviews on Perla’s page, she’s highly coveted and admired by many pet parents, so don’t hesitate to contact her! Thank you, Perla, for being so attentive and knowledgeable, and you’re truly a godsend!!!”
“Sara + Jose are Amazing! Our Puppy Bowie loves it there with his doodle buddies. They are caring, kind, flexible, and great communicators. We are so grateful to have them for Bowie.”

About: Hi! I'm a dog lover of all sizes. I'll run with your dog, teach them tricks (taught our former dog how to use the clicker and various commands), throw the ball with them, take them on walks and feed them. I'm located in PV by the PV reservoir so I'm always out and about in the neighborhood on runs, etc. I grew up with a Scottish Terrier and have watched German Shepherds, Cattle Dogs, Dashunds, Shiba Inu’s and other Terrier breeds. I've got many books on how to deal with various dog behaviors and it's taught me a lot over the years. Would love to help during the week or if you need someone to assist on the weekends too, that can be arranged. Hope to meet your pooch soon! I’ll be able to balance time as I’m at home most days of the week. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can typically make it work. I have a fenced yard and can take care of your pooch inside or outside. If your dog likes to run, I love running with em.
“We can see that Toro thoroughly enjoyed himself at his first time at day care with Elaine. He came home so tired after a full day of playing with so many variety of dogs. He ate dinner and slept for the rest of the evening. Thanks so much for taking care of our Mr Toro and giving us a piece of mind.”

“Ye Young was so sweet and took great care of our pug! She kept us updated with photos and videos the entire time and was easy to communicate with. We would love to have her watch our dog again.”

“My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.”

About: My goal is to make sure your pet feels loved & cared for. I also want you to feel at total ease if you need to leave them and allow me to care for them. I know what it’s like to want the best for your pet. I’m a 4th grade teacher starting my second year teaching! My availabilities are generally weekends throughout the day and weekdays after 4/4:30. Pet care is an important part of my routine with my 12 year old Maltipoo. We go on night walks, quick morning strolls & if I’m ever off for the day, we love to go on fun, adventurous car rides. My dog, Pogo, always stays with one of my parents if I’m at work or away. Due to all of our schedules, he is never alone, so he is taken to the bathroom regularly. I like to keep him active & engage with him, allowing him to have the fullest enjoyment. That said, I carry the same actions when pet sitting. They receive full attention from me, because I know how crucial it is for pets to feel loved, especially when their pet parent is away.
“First time using Rover for dog walks and was lucky to find Tanner. He was really great with working with us on our last minute booking to walk Duke for a few days.
“Gabby walked my Cane Corso for the first time, and it went really well! She handled him confidently and made sure he was comfortable the whole time. I’m very happy with how it went and will definitely book her again.”

“Linda is the first rover sitter I have ever received services from. My dog is an escape artist so I felt extra apprehensive about entrusting my dog to a stranger but I can assure you that Linda is very reliable and took care of my dog as if she was her own! My dog can be stubborn and takes FOREVER to potty, but Linda was so patient with my dog and made sure she did her business before she took her back inside. She also took many pictures and videos of her, which was a huge plus ☺️ I would definitely entrust my dog to Linda again, especially bc my dog loves her now ❤️”

“Knox absolutely loved his time with Brian!! I sincerely appreciate how well he took care of my little buddy. And all of the pictures and videos Knox looked like he was having the best time!”

“This is my 2nd booking. My dog absolutely loves and gets excited when he see’s Shardae. I have found his forever sitter. He is well taken care of and happy when he comes home! I appreciate you!”

About: A Little About Me 🐾 Ever since I was young, I’ve had a strong connection with animals, especially dogs. They have always been a constant part of my life, helping me develop a deep understanding of their behavior, communication, and social interactions. I am attentive, experienced, and always focused on maintaining a safe and positive environment for every dog in my care. I closely monitor all interactions and am proactive in addressing any unsafe behavior, whether playful or otherwise. My home features a secure property with tall fencing around the entire perimeter 🏡. The space is divided into separate areas to accommodate different playgroups, from small dogs to extra-large breeds, with plenty of shade and room to relax and play. Behavior Assessment 📋 For first-time guests, I typically require a behavior assessment before their stay. However, I understand that emergencies and last-minute situations happen, and I can be flexible when needed. If your dog has not completed an assessment beforehand, I will conduct one at drop-off. Introductions are done gradually and carefully, starting with my dog, Maya 🐕, before meeting the rest of the pack. If your dog is not comfortable in a group setting, they can be accommodated separately with their own indoor room and outdoor space. Before Your Dog’s Stay Please let me know: • Does your dog have any allergies? • Is your dog up to date on all vaccinations? • Is your dog currently taking any medications? Additionally, please share anything else that may help me provide the best care possible, including: • Resource guarding tendencies • Escape or fence-jumping behaviors • Eating non-food items or foreign objects • Previous incidents involving dogs or people • Anxiety, fears, or special handling needs Please also let me know about any special dietary requirements. If your dog eats wet food or requires refrigerated items, I have a full-size refrigerator available for storage. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every dog in my care. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I am always happy to help! This is my full-time calling 🐾. I am available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. There are occasional moments where I may need to step out for errands or appointments, but my family is always there to help with the dogs' care. Thank you for understanding 🙏. Pick-Up & Drop-Off 🚗 Our pick-up and drop-off times are flexible. We can accommodate as late as 11pm and as early as 5am if needed, including drop-offs the night before if you have an early departure — all at no extra cost 🙌. We also accommodate longer-term stays. The longest we've had a dog with us was around 8 months. No matter the length of the stay, we send regular updates — whether it's a text, photos, or videos — so you're always in the know. We offer a hybrid style of play — both free play and structured play 🐾. Negative behavior is calmly corrected, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all. Dogs sleep inside in a fully air-conditioned space ❄️, provided with beds and blankets, Dogs comfortable with pack life are welcome to free roam in a home-like environment 🏡, while higher energy dogs are separated as needed to ensure proper rest and health for all, fresh water is provided at all times. Safety is a top priority 🔒. Our property is fully enclosed with a 6ft fence & there is always someone present— keeping everyone happy and safe!

“Aubrey is very attentive to our dog’s needs. Goose is a nervous girl, and Aubrey takes care to make sure that she’s comfortable. She also checked in with us when Goose showed some pain/concerning behavior (she has an existing knee problem) and followed up with what care we recommended. She was communicative and obviously loves animals!”

“We’re so glad we found Brian & Kristy! The whole family is super dog savvy and wonderful to work with. We received lots of updates while we were away. We would definitely use them again if they will have our boy back.”

“Lulu loved her 2+ week stay with Ziya. It showed through the photos where she was hanging with her new dog friends and even cuddling on the couch with humans. Lulu isn’t much of a cuddler yet she has been since she got home! Lulu found a new home when we’re out of town and definitely will be back with Ziya in the future!”

“Delaney is wonderful! She genuinely loves animals and is patient and kind and very responsible. I never have to worry about my dogs when they are in her hands. She will take them to the vet if they are not well and follow up on all of the medications so you don't have to worry whilst you are traveling. My dogs love staying with her!”
