About: I grew up on a farm, so taking care of animals has been a very big part of my life! I also believe communication matters, so I keep owners updated with photos and messages to make sure they feel at ease Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make time for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and giving pets attention throughout the day. I’m organized, dependable, and able to adjust my schedule to make sure pets get the care, consistency, and companionship they need while their owners are away. I’ve grown up caring for animals and currently live on a farm with two Golden Retrievers, their puppies, and two cats, so pet care is a big part of my everyday life. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, cleaning up after pets, giving animals attention and exercise, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Being around both dogs and cats daily has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and understanding of different pet personalities and needs.
About: For over six years, I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels—whether it’s one loyal companion or a lively crew. I treat every pup with care, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Reliable, patient, and always ready for a walk (or many pets)! For fish - I’ve had a tank through my whole life (freshwater) and recently have had saltwater, taking a close eye on their needs and tank maintenance. 🐾🐠🐟 I currently work full-time on weekdays, but I’m available for morning and evening check-ins during the week. My weekends are fully open, so I’m happy to help however I can then! While I care for a saltwater tank full of marine life at home, I always make sure to dedicate plenty of focused time to meet—and go beyond—the needs of your furry companions. Every pet deserves attention, affection, and a little extra love while you’re away, and that’s exactly what I provide.
“Gabriella was great with my kitten Millie! She was professional, followed all instructions, and took extra time to make sure Millie got plenty of love and attention while I was away at work. Highly recommend and will rebook!”

About: I have been devoted to animal care for as long as I can remember. At five years old, I was already outside caring for stray cats and dogs in Macedonia. That early instinct to protect and advocate for animals shaped the direction of my life and career. I have previously worked as a veterinary assistant with over 1000 hours of veterinary experience and currently I am studying animal physiology. I am pursuing my dream on going to veterinary school. Would love to take care of your pet! I worked as a veterinary assistant at VCA Coast, where I supported medical care for both cats and dogs in a clinical setting. I am experienced with anxious, reactive, and stressed pets, and I understand how to approach them with patience and calm handling. I am also comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with additional medical needs. I am currently a student at UCLA studying animal physiology online for my veterinary school application. My schedule is open for the most part. I am looking forward to meeting your pet and providing you and your pet with an amazing experience! :) My clinical skills include nail trims, ear cleanings, and administering IV fluids. I am open to dog walking, dog and cat sitting overnight. I hold a B.S. in Chemistry from MTSU and am currently preparing my veterinary school application.

“Sydney is fantastic! She clearly cares about animals and took wonderful care of our cats! She even took the time to play with them to help them get comfortable with her and adjust to our absence. Sydeny also went above and beyond checking something for us that we forgot to do before leaving. As a bonus she also sends adorable pictures and videos while you're gone! Highly recommend Sydney!”

About: I’ve taken care of big and small dogs and 2 outdoor/indoor cats since early college (and taken care of their homes too!). I have 4 dogs of all ages and supported my own Sadie through 2 litters of puppies! When Sadie was pregnant, I became an expert on dog pregnancy and newborn puppy care. I’ve trained puppies from 8 weeks to older dogs at 9 years. Who said old dogs can’t learn to shake? My Sophia is now 14 years old and taking care of her is different but every bit as joyful as taking care of newborn squiggles. My 2 boys would leave the energizer bunny far behind so I am no stranger to an energetic dog that needs more than a walk around the block to get out his wiggles! I work full-time just 5 min from El Porto. I can offer walks in the evenings any day of the week. I’m close by so I can drop in on pets during the day and can pet sit full time Friday-Sunday. I have a fenced in patio and have experience with crate training, if necessary. Walking 4 dogs of my own has taught me what not to do so I would focus on 1-2 dogs at a time to ensure safety and adequate attention for each pet.

About: I take pride in the trust that friends and family have place in me. I will take care of them like my own. Your home will be respected and cared for. I have cared for special needs pets. I work from home as an RN. This gives me a lot of flexibility. I go for walks at least daily. Having a dog (or cat) to walk with encourages me. I love animals. I always try to follow the pet's normal routine closely. I understand the importance of keeping pet's as stress free as possible when their humans are away. I will care for them and your home with kindness and respect.
“Alexa is amazing! Our puppy loved playing with her and she kept me updated on how she was doing! Came home to a happy puppy and cleaned up play atea! I absolutely will be asking her to watch Rosie again!”

About: I’ve been animal sitting for many years, caring for pets of all kinds, and I’m excited to expand my experience and build connections in this space. Pet care fits naturally into my routine right now since I have a very flexible schedule. Having worked remotely for the past few years, I’m used to structuring my day around responsibilities, so I can easily accommodate feedings, check-ins, walks, and quality time. I’m available throughout the day and can be consistent and attentive to each pet’s needs. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and comfort level. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal schedule; feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while keeping their environment clean and calm. I also send regular updates so owners feel at ease.

“Saffi was awesome! Our cat isn’t very friendly to strangers so she isn’t the easiest cat to look after, but Saffi did her best to interact with her. She did everything I asked her to and more, and sent us very detailed summaries of each visit with photos.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have cared for many different pets including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Animals have always been an important part of my life, so I’m very comfortable understanding their personalities and needs. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to help care for their pets while they’re away, whether that means feeding them, walking them, playing with them, or simply keeping them company. I always try to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved while their owners are gone. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I’m able to plan visits around my daily routine. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding visits, and playtime during the week and weekends. I always prioritize making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m happy to spend time with dogs in their home where they feel most comfortable, or bring them along with me so they have company and aren’t left alone. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime throughout the day.

Manhattan Beach cat parents share their Rover experiences
Beyza was amazing with our cat, Strawberry. Even though it was their first time meeting, they bonded very quickly and Strawberry felt comfortable with her right away. During every visit, Beyza spent quality time playing with Strawberry, brushing him, and making sure he received plenty of attention and care. She was very responsible with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning the litter box, and keeping an eye on everything while we were away. Whenever there was anything worth mentioning, she proactively reached out and kept us updated, which gave us great peace of mind during our trip. I would absolutely book Beyza again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive cat sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Strawberry!

Yiyu did a great job with our two cats. They got a lot of brushing and I could tell from photos that they were very comfortable with her, didn’t hide, and kept their regular routines. They got treats and brushing on their usual spots and windowsills right away. Thanks for everything!

We had a great experience with Stephanie and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. She kept in touch throughout, and sent photos so I could check in on the cats. Everything went smoothly and I came home to happy cats that had clearly been looked after well!
