“Yiyu was extremely accommodating with our last minute booking. She was extremely communicative with sending updates and pictures. We felt PeeWee was in GREAT hands which allowed us to have a worry and stress free time away. We will definitely be booking with Yiyu again! Thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“Christy was great! She made Barry White feel right at home. We were able to enjoy ourselves at our event and rest easy knowing he was in loving hands. Thanks Christy and Patrick!!”

“Shardae provided lots of picture and updates. My pup was always smiling, I could tell he really enjoyed all the attention and love he was getting! Will definitely book again.”

“Kimberlee was beyond amazing! This was my first experience with a Rover sitter and she really went above and beyond. My foster puppy Bubs is super high energy but Kim took it in stride. He came back so happy and tired, and I think better behaved than when I left. She picked him up and dropped him off because we live very close, which was so so helpful because he has a large crate, and while we we gone she even helped network him a ton to help find an adopter. Bubs had the best time, and I would trust Kim with any animal I ever have in the future! Thank you!”

“Kyle is our go to guy to watch our dog. He’s reliable, easy going and trustworthy! It’s reassuring to know that our dog is in good hands when my husband & I are traveling.”

“Angela is an amazing at caring for our skittish doggie, and she is even flexible enough to accommodate drop ins for our kitties! Can't rave enough about how good she is. She takes time to get our fur babies acclimated to things, is very patient, provides daily updates and even a "Pawgress Report" for us when the booking is complete! Simply awesome! 😃”

“Noreen was such a fantastic Rover! Couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my dog. She sent me lots of photos and updates and I could tell my dog, Saucey, was having a great time and very happy. I'll definitely book her again and highly recommend her!”

“Jenny and her family were absolutely amazing to our dog Nika. They gave her so much care, thoughtfulness, scarfs, and love. We would highly recommend to anyone who loves their dogs as much as we love Nika!”

“I had a really great experience with Shane. I had not used a dog sitting service in several years, and Shane was able to put me at ease with his consistent communication, his friendly demeanor, and his innate ability to care for animals. He clearly cares about the dogs in his care and it shows. I highly recommend Shane and will definitely work with him again in the future. Thank you again Shane for everything!”

“Michelle was absolutely incredible with Minnie and Smalls! 🩷 She went above and beyond in every way and treated them like they were her own. She sent videos, photos, and updates throughout the entire weekend, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She made sure they got plenty of walks, took them to watch the sunset, and kept me updated on all of their little adventures. It was so clear how loved they were the entire time. Her and her kids spent so much time cuddling them, playing with them, and making them feel right at home. As a dog mom, it’s not easy leaving your babies with someone else, but I never once worried knowing they were with Michelle. I could tell Minnie and Smalls were happy, comfortable, and so well cared for. I would trust her to watch my babies again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her enough! 🐾💕”

“We are so grateful to have found Jeanne to care for our dog, Luglio. From the very beginning, she was warm, responsive, and clearly experienced with dogs. She made us feel completely at ease while we were away, sending regular updates and the sweetest photos that showed just how happy and relaxed Luglio was in her care. Jeanne went above and beyond to make sure Luglio felt at home, giving him plenty of love, walks, and attention. It was obvious she treated him like one of her own. He came back to us happy, calm, and well cared for—exactly what every dog parent hopes for. We’ll absolutely be booking with Jeanne again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and loving dog sitter!”

“Chyna was amazing!! We needed a sitter for 4 nights (on a holiday weekend) at the very last minute and she was so accommodating! Made sure my dog got lots of outdoor time and sent lots of pictures and updates. She was very kind and professional.”

“DeAnn took care of Abby my 10 yr old poodle mix for a week. She was so attentive and provided daily updates with pics and videos of her. She is so kind and loving towards my dog that I had no reservations in her taking care of Abby. Even before dropping her off for boarding, DeAnn met with us a week before just to make sure we were comfortable using her. We are so glad we found DeAnn and will definitely use her again for future boarding.”

“Taylor took great care of my dog Marley!! She was super nice and sent plenty of updates, pictures and videos during Marleys stay. Would absolutely have her watch Marley again anytime!!!”

“Our dog Daisy did quite well with Vanessa. And we really appreciated her organizing a "meet and greet" prior to her stay, as this was the first time for Daisy to board anywhere ever. Overall. We are quite happy to have found a host for Daisy that we can trust. Thank you, Vanessa!”

“She was wonderful and super attentive. My dog enjoyed playing with her son, win, win! She did everything I asked of her to do. Already have her booked for a second visit.”

“Beverly was wonderful with our pups! She provide pictures and daily updates. All three pups were so happy with her and very well cared for. We would definitely book with her again!”

About: With over 30 years of caring for both dogs and cats, I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and know how to make pets feel safe, calm, loved, and comfortable, especially when their owners are away or at work. I offer more than basic pet sitting; I create a nurturing environment where pets receive personalized attention, affection, exercise, and emotional support. My background in healthy lifestyle coaching also helps me stay attentive, active, organized, and compassionate with every pet I care for. I am particularly patient with senior pets, shy animals, and pets that need extra reassurance or consistency in their routines. It fits into my schedule because I can spend time with them at the beach, the dog park, walking around town, or just hopping in the car to visit a larger dog park. Life is good when time isn't an issue. My home is fenced and offers plenty of space for outdoor play. Plus, we spend most of our time outside. I cook homemade food for my fur baby and always take a nap after a long walk. You can feel reassured knowing your fur babies will have someone present, attentive, experienced, and caring while they are away.
About: Hi, I’m Leisa. I provide both in-home dog sitting and care in my home for clients who want their dogs to feel comfortable, settled, and well cared for. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve been caring for dogs through my personal network for years, often on a repeat and referral basis. I’m experienced with larger breeds and very comfortable maintaining established routines, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, or simply keeping things consistent so your dog feels at ease. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed and have experience doing so with care and attention to detail. I offer sitting in your home, or boarding for small to medium dogs in mine. I’m happy to talk through which option would be the best fit based on your dog’s temperament and needs. I’m naturally attentive and detail-oriented, and I take that responsibility seriously whether I’m in someone else’s home or caring for a dog in mine. I follow instructions closely, keep spaces clean and organized, and make sure your dog receives the right balance of exercise, attention, and quiet time based on their individual needs. I also understand how important it is to feel confident while you’re away. I keep communication clear and consistent, with regular updates so you always know how things are going. I tend to have a calm presence, and dogs usually settle in quickly with me. I take the time to understand their temperament and adjust my approach so they feel secure and well cared for. If it feels like a fit, I’m always happy to meet for a quick meet and greet so you can feel completely comfortable before booking. I work from home, so pet care fits very naturally into my day. I’m able to be present, attentive, and flexible with walks, feeding, and general care throughout the day rather than needing to leave dogs alone for long periods. My schedule allows me to maintain a consistent routine, which I find helps dogs settle in more easily and feel comfortable. I’m also able to adjust based on each dog’s needs, whether that’s more activity, more downtime, or a bit of both. For in-home sitting, I’m very respectful of your space and follow your routines closely so your dog experiences as little disruption as possible. If I’m caring for a dog in my home, I have a small outdoor area and live on a walk street with a steady flow of people and dogs passing by. Because of that, I’m mindful about supervision and typically find my home is best suited to dogs who are comfortable with that kind of environment. I’m also happy to talk through what setting would be the best fit for your dog, whether that’s staying in your home or mine.

“I would recommend Mars to anyone looking for quality cat care. They followed the care instructions completely and provided great updates during each visit. No complaints! My new preferred cat sitter.”

“Yiyu did a great job with our two cats. They got a lot of brushing and I could tell from photos that they were very comfortable with her, didn’t hide, and kept their regular routines. They got treats and brushing on their usual spots and windowsills right away. Thanks for everything!”

“Jordan did an amazing job doing 10 drop-in visits across 4 days for my dog Gus. Jordan came super prepared at the meet and greet visit and asked a lot of questions to understand Gus’ routine. My dog is part lab/cattle dog and has a bunch of quirks, and she made sure he was well taken care of. Jordan also did a great job when I booked her for a first time walk before my trip so Gus could get familiar with her. Providing picture updates on the walk. She provided great updates in each Rover card. Including photos, videos, and notes from each visit to share how Gus was doing. She even came back to check on him on 4th of July to ensure he was ok during fireworks. It’s my first time using Rover and Gus was in great hands. She made my trip worry-free. Would definitely book her again!”

About: I am a HUGE cat lover and have had cats in my life for years! I have a cat of my own back home in Colorado who I absolutely adore, so I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s care. I love getting to know each cat’s individual personality, whether they’re super cuddly and playful or need a little more time and space to warm up. I’m more than happy to handle feeding, litter boxes, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. I will genuinely treat your cat like my own (and probably become a little obsessed with them too) :)

About: Pet care is already built into my everyday life. Three times a week I walk two 60-lb puppy Rhodesian Ridgebacks that I’ve successfully trained to walk calmly side by side. Every day I also take my own Black Mouth Cur on social outings to the dog park or dog beaches at Rosie’s Beach and Huntington Beach — over the last two years I’ve successfully socialized him to stop being aggressive. Mornings and late afternoons are set aside for client walks and drop-ins, while evenings and weekends open easily for longer visits or overnights. Because this is my regular rhythm, your pets receive consistent, focused attention every time. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily and weekly schedule. I maintain open availability throughout the week for walking both small and large dogs, with consistent morning and evening time slots reserved for clients. This structured yet flexible routine allows me to provide reliable, focused care without conflict. How do you care for pets in your home or your client’s home for the different services you offer? I provide care both in my home and in the client’s home, depending on the service requested. For walks and drop-in visits, I come to the client’s home and follow their exact routines, house rules, and any special instructions. For boarding or extended stays, pets are welcomed into my clean, calm, and fully pet-friendly home environment, where they receive individual attention tailored to their size, age, and needs. In both settings, I prioritize safety, clear communication, and consistent care so every pet feels comfortable and every client feels confident.

“Gabriella was great with my kitten Millie! She was professional, followed all instructions, and took extra time to make sure Millie got plenty of love and attention while I was away at work. Highly recommend and will rebook!”

About: Hello! I’ve been pet sitting for many years after we lost our family pug. I grew up with both dogs and cats. I have volunteered at shelters and fostered dogs in the past. I'm very active and like to walk, run and hike. I have experience with senior pets with medication needs from our own pets and the fosters. I’ll spoil and love on your fur babies as much as I can. In my free time I play vollryball, practice yoga and paddle board. I’m working remote so would be at your house during most of the day. I usually go to yoga or play volleyball during the day. I will take great care of your animals in your home. Please provide detailed instructions on their needs to make them feel comfortable while you are away.

“Sydney was awesome with our 7-month-old kitten for twice daily hour-long visits while we were away for a few days! We had a nice meet and greet before booking and felt very comfortable leaving our cat in her care. She is very communicative and easy to connect with, she shared great updates with every visit and lots of great pictures and videos of our cat playing ☺️ We’d highly recommend her for catsitting!!!”

“Alexa was very quick to respond to my booking request and made the process easy and seamless. She followed the instructions I left for my 2 cats and took very good care of them. She even swept the floors and wiped countertops which is so considerate and makes coming home feel even nicer. I have already booked with her for my next trip!”

About: There is nothing I love more than dogs! I volunteer at animal shelters where I walk dogs, and have even travelled to different countries going around and feeding the stray dogs all over! I love caring for them and doing whatever it takes to make them happy and feel loved. I have two dogs of my own that i walk for an hour every day and would love to walk some more as well! I am a full time therapist but have a very flexible schedule. I work from around 2/3 and stay until around 6/7 so am only out of the house for around 4 hours max. Walking dogs would be the perfect thing for me to do with the extra time I have in the mornings and afternoons! I can walk them, check in and play with them, or house them. I’m also very open to cats I love them just as much as I love dogs :) I’m here to make your dog (or cat) happy and make your life easier! I am only at the office from around 3-4 hours a day at the most, so have plenty of time to take care of animals. I live in an apartment so I take any animal under my care on as many walks on possible. I try to take dogs on at least 3-4 walks every day. If I ever stay in a client's home I would still do the same!

“Becky was great with my kitten Millie! She was professional, followed all instructions, and took extra time to make sure Millie got plenty of love and attention while I was away at work. Highly recommend and will rebook!”

“Shay was amazing and had such great communication with me while being out of country in Colombia he provided such piece of mind that my baby was taken care of! Rocky enjoyed his time and I look forward to rebooking Shay!”

About: I have a balanced approach to cat care that combines careful attention to your instructions with an understanding that every cat has its own personality and routine. I don’t try to change your cat’s habits or become a replacement pet parent. Instead, I provide dependable care, maintain consistency, and engage with each cat in ways that match their comfort level, whether that’s interactive play, quiet companionship, or simply respecting their independence. I’m attentive to behavior changes, maintain clean litter boxes and feeding areas, and prioritize a calm, low-stress environment while you’re away. I am not a fit for cats with the following behaviors: Velcro or high physical touch/contact/proximity Display aggressive behaviors such as hissing, scratching, lunging, and biting Demand constant attention, food, play throughout the day Struggle with being alone for periods of time I do best with cats who are comfortable with a sitter providing attentive care while also respecting their independence and individual routine.
About: Giving your pets so much love, while leaving your home better than when you left. Grew up on a farm in Canada with many animals, while also having pets over the years since. In addition to providing reliable and loving care for your pet(s) and home, I also offer Animal Reiki sessions and gentle energetic space clearing—helping your pet feel calmer and your home feel refreshed and balanced while you’re away. I’ve been house and pet sitting for friends for awhile now and have led a digital nomad life around the world in 45 countries and counting since 2010. Thought I’d give this platform a try as I’m in transition and planning to settle down in California permanently while checking out more areas to see what’s a long term fit. I love animals, playing beach volleyball, and run my own digital marketing agency of 15 years that has always been remote-first so have a very flexible schedule that I create. Looking forward to caring for your home and pets! I grew up on a farm in northern Canada and it sustained our family so I have a lot of experience with pets and many animals, from our own dogs and cats, to rabbits, cattle, pigs and chickens. I’ve lived in many cities around the world since and also had additional pets throughout life and have often been asked to care for friend's and family’s pets and homes over the years. I absolutely love it because I move around a lot and do not have my own at the moment.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with dogs my whole life. Whether it’s being around my own or asking my neighbors if I can walk theirs, I can’t get enough of them. I know how important dogs are to their owners, but I also know that life can get in the way and we can’t always give them the undivided attention they deserve. That’s why I’m here to help! I currently work a job that allows me to be pretty flexible with the hours I can care for your dog. While sometimes things come up, I can usually be accommodating to your schedule! I’m very clean and intend to leave every home better than I found it. Just like we aim to live in a safe environment, our dogs deserve the same.
“Shane was awesome. Super pumped to see Rosie everyday and Rosie nearly yanked my arm off running to see him in the morning. I really feel like he treated our dog like his own. He sent updates and photos frequently. I felt very comfortable leaving her each day. He was flexible and helpful at drop off and pick up. We will hope to call on him again when needed.”

About: I only take one family’s dog (or dogs) at a time — never a mixed group, never a crowded house. That’s a deliberate choice, not a limitation: it means your pet gets my full attention the entire visit or stay, in a calm, low-stress environment instead of competing for space and attention with other people’s animals. It’s why my rates run higher than sitters who take multiple families at once — you’re booking exclusive care, not a spot in a group. Whether your dog loves long beach walks, playful adventures, or quiet companionship, I adapt to what actually makes them comfortable — not a one-size-fits-all routine. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, medications, special diets, and pets who need extra patience. You’ll get regular photo updates and clear communication throughout. My goal is simple: you enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved — with no one else’s pet in the picture. My flexible schedule lets me provide attentive care throughout the day, not just quick in-and-out visits. Whether your pet needs frequent potty breaks, medication, exercise, companionship, or a consistent routine, I tailor my availability to fit their needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. For boarding, I welcome one dog — or one family’s dogs — at a time, so every guest gets personalized attention in a calm, uncrowded home environment. I closely follow each pet’s normal routine: feeding schedules, medications, exercise, sleep preferences, and any special instructions you provide. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible in the comfort of their own home. I treat every home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own, and I keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your trip.
“First time with Kyle; I have a very anxious Chihuahua mix & Kyle was very patient with her and gave her her own space until she became comfortable. I can tell he has plenty of experience dealing with this type of situation. Communication was easy and efficient with Kyle the entire time that I was at my function. I did check it quite often. Kyle was very responsive which I really appreciated because I was a little bit nervous seeing that my poor baby is very anxious.. We will see you again! Thank you.”

“Carmen was wonderful! She was very communicative throughout the stay and sent lots of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She took great care of my dog and I could tell he was happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with Carmen again!”

About: My approach with any animal is to use positive reinforcement and a lot of patience. I grew up with dogs, cats and various other animals. I was heavily into 4-H and adopted a wild burro, raised pigs and joined the dog training group with my shelter dog, a German Shepard Samoyed mix. Currently, we have two rescue dogs. Whenever we host our neighbor's dog, all the dogs have a blast and act like they are having a sleepover. In addition to caring for dogs, I also have experience with a diabetic cat that required two daily shots. My husband and I work from home so there is always someone around. We take the dogs out for frequent potty breaks throughout the day. We also live near Valley Park and the green belt which are perfect for longer walks. In addition to my husband, I have two teenage sons who will also be here to play with your pup. We currently have two welcoming adopted dogs, Koko, who is the older wiser pup bringing calm energy, and Mango, who very lovable and wants to be friends with every human and dog. At our condo, the dogs have access to two decks in the back, perfect for quiet naps in the sun, and one deck in the front overlooking all the action that passes by on the street. If your pup likes to play tug-of-war, Mango will happily play and share her toys.
About: I’ve been playing with pups since I was born, I have experience with a wide range of dogs of all different backgrounds, sizes and personalities. Im the go-to neighborhood babysitter as I get along with every dog I’ve met, regardless of their needs, age and unique attitudes from shy to sassy, mischievous, rambunctious and everything in between. I’m laid back and have no problem with untrained, high maintenance and/or dogs that aren’t potty trained. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am willing to work with the owners needs, just let me know and we can work something out. I have a large wrap around balcony and keep gates on both sides of it, I’m near the ocean on the 2nd floor so I like to keep my apartment door open (if the client is comfortable) so that we can both freely go in and out of the apartment on to the balcony for fresh air and people watching. I currently do not have any pets at home

“Amazing experience! Easy drop off and pick up. The pups went with Mindy with no problem. They were happy and we were happy to be able to have our daughter’s birthday lunch at her favorite restaurant.”

About: I can't wait to meet your furry friend! Quality care is super important to me so the more I know about your family member (pet) the best I can be of support. If they are a day napper who enjoys peace and quiet or an active puppers who enjoys long walks I am here. I will have complete open availability for the month of August 2026 . There is potential for additional availability in the month of September 2026. I am just a mile away from the beach , walking trail and 10 minute walk from a park. There is availability for both pet care in my home or at the client home. There is also a 24 hour emergency vet clinic just a 2 min drive away if needed (I like to be prepared)
“We were so lucky to find Samantha on Rover. Our 90lb puppy had minor stitches so during the day we needed someone to watch him to make sure he didn’t mess with his injury. We got way more than that - Duke was walked, watched and spoiled. He came home tired 🙏 and happy. Highly recommend”

“Kimberly is a wonderful, kind, caring, loving, and attentive dog sitter. I love her loving energy and her love for dogs. I found a perfect sitter for my dog. I can feel confident and secure while I’m away knowing my dog is in good care under Kimberly. I highly recommend her!”

About: Please read everything 🌻 I am currently home full time working remotely so I have open availability to keep watch over your pup or cat! A little about me - right now, I'm working as an Integrations Implementation Consultant for a HR tech company. The company services the government/public sectors in every state so I love my job as it requires me to help people digitally. :) This goes for you guys on Rover too where I'd love to help you out with your fur babies 💕 As a hobby, I like to take digital photography and be active outdoors as much as possible! I used to have doggos to take care of, but my current place doesn't allow pets at the moment. I've missed having a furry companion so much that I re-enabled this app to get more time with your pets so it's a win-win for the both of us. :) If you need a friend with full experience on loving dogs/cats, please message me and we can set something up. I'd love to receive this in return - a schedule of what time your dog/cat eats, general temperament, walk time, play time, allergies, diet, important numbers to call, etc. This would be perfect for those who need a friend to watch your fur baby when you're away. Feel free to message me for any questions or details you'd like to provide and I'd be happy to listen! Please keep in mind that I require 24 hours in advance for a meet and greet + home tour before we decide we're a good fit. Note: I am fully vaccinated/boosted for anyone who is curious and willing to wear a mask for initial meet & greets for our safety. :) I'm WFH so my schedule is flexible during the weekdays! I start work usually around 7-7:30 AM and end around 3:30-4 PM so I would be free to house sit, do drop-ins, and routine walking in between as long as we set it up in advance before I schedule work meetings. Typically, work is flexible enough for me to create a schedule around Rover so just let me know. I will always be respectful if I am sitting for a furbaby in someone's home. If there are any questions, I will always ask. Otherwise, your baby will be treated with the attention and play time that I gave to all my fur babies before!

“Lara is amazing!! She took our puppy for the afternoon and evening…and took such good care of her. She gave her a bath, clipped her nails, took her out to the parks and let her rest peacefully at home. She was such a great care taker and I loved getting pictures throughout the day of my happy puppy! Highly recommend 👍”

About: Hi! I am Jackie, and I live close to Live Oak Park. I am home full time, and I am also one of the pet sitters who has undergone advanced screening that culminated in a face-to-face in-home meeting and a home inspection. My two Malteses, Abby and Oscar, and I are looking forward to meeting you and your best friend! Being retired, I have all the time in the world, plus all the love in the world, to direct at your dog. You couldn't have found a more loving, devoted sitter to watch your dog, whether for along-stay or short-stay. I pride myself in the care I put forth to my four-legged guests. Don't feel bad taking that trip you've always wanted to go on, leave your dog with me! I can watch all types of dogs; breed, size, only up to 30 pounds please, and age. I will be willing to watch bigger pals if they are polite and non-energetic. I'll even watch that puppy you just added to your pack. I am comfortable administering medication if your dog need such. Why I love dog sitting Dogs are my life! I have two furbabies but I have plenty of love to share with fur guests as well! I don't remember a time that I didn't have a connection with dogs. They are truly some of my best friends! About my yard My complex has plenty of room for me to walk your dog, and also have a small common area for your dog to run and play. My experience administering medication I have no problem giving your dog his medications as you tell me to. I am not, however, comfortable administering injections. I am retired and spend most of the time around the home. When am at home my main concern is making your fur babies content and happy. I live on a street that has many walking paths to venture out on. It depends strictly on the energy and stamina of your dogs. I'll do anything and try and make your dog happy.

“Absolutely amazing. She was so good with my husky girl. Nala was exhausted when I picked her up. Which is rare for a husky haha. Will be booking again weekly if possible”

“Shay was the absolute best. As long as he’s available, I will not be going with any other person to take care of my little Murphy. Murphy has quite a lot of energy and can be a lot to handle (and needs an occasional butt wipe hehe). Shay seemed to manage easily and even took my dog on runs! He sent the best pictures, and I could truly tell my dog very much enjoys their time together. Thank you for everything. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate knowing my dog is so well taken care of!!!”

About: Hi! I will be moving to the Manhattan Beach area in September and can’t wait to explore the neighborhood! I have taken care of dogs for most of my life whether I am playing with my own puppy or pet sitting for friends and neighbors. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I am currently working full-time, however I work from home so I am flexible and can likely accommodate last minute schedules. Generally, I am available before 8:30am and after 5:30pm. I have a very high energy golden doodle at home. This means that walks are full of adventure and require high attention since he wants to say hello to every other dog and person in the neighborhood. Safety for your pets is incredibly important to me and I will treat your pets as I would my own!

“Devon was available to walk Charlie on short notice, and we are so grateful for the help! She asked good questions in advance, arrived right on time, and sent a few photos. We look forward to working with her again!”

About: What sets me apart is the personalized attention I give every pet. I’ve cared for a Mini Goldendoodle since puppyhood and have experience with breeds of different sizes and personalities, including German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I focus on providing a safe, loving, and reliable experience while keeping pets happy, active, and comfortable. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine because I’m a very active person. I enjoy long walks, have trained for half marathons, and love spending time outdoors at places like the beach and parks. I’m fully available and flexible, so I can easily adjust my schedule around pet care needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply spending time with pets, I genuinely enjoy incorporating it into my day and staying active while caring for animals. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I make sure they are well-fed, have fresh water, and are cared for throughout the day. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and potty breaks, keeping them active and hydrated, and spending time playing with them, like throwing the ball or engaging in interactive play. I also make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, and I always take time for cuddles and attention so they feel safe and loved while their owners are away.
“Gabriella is an excellent dog walker for my 2 fur babies! She is very gentle and caring with them and they love her for it! I highly recommend her for all types of dog care needs!”

About: I have good patience with all dogs from puppies to seniors. I treat them as if they were like my own furry baby. Every fur baby have their own personality and it’s heart warming when I see their excited tail wagging when I approach them. I’ve had good experience taking care of my 15 year old dog (princess) when she was a senior. I am working part-time. My downtime consist of me hanging out with my puppy whether it consist of play time or walking him to be out and about besides staying home all day. I have a fenced front yard with a front lawn and a big cement backyard. If clients need specific instructions, please don’t hesitate. I have a 2 year old golden doodle puppy.

“Brooke has been incredibly consistent/punctual. My pup is always excited when Brooke comes over and is always exhausted after her walks. I absolutely would recommend for anybody that needs help!”

“The first walk doesn’t always go great, especially when the owner provides the wrong entry code into the building, lol. But we worked through it and Marevie was very understanding!”

About: I’ve spent years helping dogs become their best selves — and more importantly, helping owners build deeper, healthier relationships with them. I trained under The Bark Stop, possibly the best dog training school in the U.S., based in Florida. It’s an award-winning program focused on force-free, fear-free methods, and I’m proud to call myself a dedicated student of that philosophy. People often ask if I’m a professional trainer just from seeing how well-behaved my two dogs are — Dogson, a 7-year-old Maltipoo, and Bocky, his 9-year-old older brother. I’ve helped train dogs of all sizes and personalities for friends and family, and I bring calm, confidence, and compassion to every interaction. I’m also certified in Cat and Dog First Aid by the American Red Cross, which means in the event of an emergency, your pet will be in trained and capable hands. I’m an intermediate groomer as well — I do our dogs’ cuts, nail trims, and even gland expression when needed. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority, and I will be the only person providing care. I work remotely in tech as a full-stack product builder, which gives me the freedom to plan my day around your dog’s routine. I’m up early (usually by 6:30 AM), and as long as there’s solid Wi-Fi, I can work from anywhere. That means I’m available for walks, check-ins, meals, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. My wife is based out of San Francisco for work and is not involved in my Rover services. All pet care will be handled by me, personally. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to provide updates so you always feel connected while you’re away. I’m a full-time van-lifer currently based out of a Mercedes Sprinter camper van. Because of that, I only offer house-sitting — not boarding. I never stay inside your home unless you specifically request it. I prefer to stay in my van, which I park right in your driveway or nearby in the neighborhood, and I check in throughout the day to care for your pup in the comfort of their own space. This setup has worked beautifully during sits for friends and family across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — especially for weekend getaways and short trips. I also love sending photo and video updates as often as you’d like. One of my favorite things is capturing those joyful reunion moments when you return home. It’s a privilege to be part of that. And just to clarify: all care will be provided by me alone. If my wife ever joins the platform in the future, she will have her own separate profile.
About: I have been taking care of pets - from cats, dogs, horses and more - since I was 6 years old! I grew up with a Portuguese Water Dog which is a very high energy breed and was the known neighborhood dog and cat sitter whenever anyone went out of town! I currently have a cat as well as a horse that I care for daily. I am familiar with administering oral meds, providing stimulating play time, and giving pets the love they deserve. I know how difficult it can be to trust another to take care of your special friend, and I pride myself in caring for others as I would my own - with much love, care and attention to detail. Please reach out with any questions - I look forward to meeting you! I work full time remotely, so I have a very flexible schedule! I love to spend as much free time around four legged friends as I can. Safety is of the utmost importance in my care and I always think of the pets’ needs first no matter if we are at home, out on a walk, or at the park.

About: I have always loved pets and have been dog-sitting since high school. I've watched dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and activity levels. Breeds have ranged from Yorkies, Aussiedoodles, Border Collies, Vizlas, Airedales, and between. I have watched high-energy dogs and puppies as young as 4 months old and have experience watching dogs as old as 14 with arthritis/epilepsy. I have been through an off-leash training certification program as well as leash reactivity training. Whenever I have free time, I like to go on walks and would love a companion. I live near The Strand and Greenbelt, giving your pet a range of places to be walked. I love catching the sunset on the strand after work or walking to coffee along the greenbelt on weekends. I take long walks but will accommodate the needed activity level of your pet. Many of my friends have pets, so we scope out pet-friendly spots on the weekends so their fur babies can join in on the fun. I live with two other female roommates who are pet lovers. We have a fenced-in patio and are a short walk away from the parks/walking trails. In my home, a pet can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. I am well-versed in enrichment activities for dog breeds that need them. I have experience administering medication and special food diets. I am very responsible, and always ensure the home is secured (doors locked, windows shut, garage closed). I have a car and a clean driving record, in case your pet needs to be taken to urgent care.

“Chyna was amazing!! We needed a sitter for 4 nights (on a holiday weekend) at the very last minute and she was so accommodating! Made sure my dog got lots of outdoor time and sent lots of pictures and updates. She was very kind and professional.”

“Andrew and Jess took great care of my pup. She has a lot of specific needs and they were super understanding and knowledgeable about dogs and different behaviors. Andrew was communicative and sent great photo and text updates. My dog came back happy and healthy! Andrew was also accommodating for my last minute reservation and was flexible when I needed to drop her off earlier than originally planned and when my flight was delayed, so I had to pick her up late. I would highly recommend Andrew and Jess for your dog sitting or boarding!”

“Lexi always is well taken care of by Mindy. I know my baby is in good hands with Mindy so I can have a stress free vacation. Love her pics she sends of Lexi and her friends!! Thank you Mindy!!”

“I can not say enough great things about Gina and her care for my Gigi. Breaking this down ; I was in desperate need of a doggy sitter for a last minute wedding trip out of town. I found Rover online and gave it a shot. I came across Gina's profile and saw all her raving reviews so I knew I had to try her out . I was looking for someone who would take care of my Gigi the way I would ,and someone who would truly give Gigi lots of love and attention. Gina was that person! She was communicative from the beginning , even adjusting her availability to make my schedule work . She was nothing short of excellent in communication and transparency. The moment I dropped off Gigi, Gina gave a warm welcome and Gigi was easily taken with her. Gina sent frequent updates on Gigi making me feel totally at ease being so far away. Every correspondence was immediately replied to - loved it. It was obvious that Gina was experienced in taking care of dogs . Also, I could tell from the pictures sent that Gigi was super happy and comfortable. I recommend anyone that uses Rover to book Gina , you're dog will be in loving hands!”

“Harley is incredibly friendly and accommodating. She sent me picture updates of my pup and kept me at ease (my dog has separation anxiety). Nothing to complain about from me, would absolutely use Harley's services again in the future.”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Nibbles! She watched her for 9 days in her home, and I’m so happy we found her. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and Shannon was very thorough about asking questions beforehand so she could make sure Nibbles was comfortable and knew her routine and preferences. She took such great care of her and made sure she was happy, well-fed, comfortable, and got lots of love and attention. I could tell Nibbles was in really good hands, as I received consistent updates/pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Shannon is such a sweetheart, and I’m extremely happy with the care she gave Nibbles. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again in the future!”
“Emily was absolutely wonderful! She took amazing care of Charlotte while we were away, and even helped correct her leash pulling—which was such a pleasant surprise! Charlotte clearly had the best time, especially playing with Maple, Emily’s sweet dog. It’s clear Emily truly cares about the dogs she watches, and she treated Charlotte like her own. We came home to a happy, well-exercised pup, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a loving and attentive sitter!”

“Marilyn is so professional and reliable, we are so happy to have found her. She took our dogs last minute and we have definitely found our fit! She has a very large yard which includes a huge portion of it dedicated for dogs which is separated by a fence, just what our furry friends needed, not to mention the care and individual attention that she provided. I would definitely recommend her, and I am sure we will be back. Thanks much Marilyn!!”

“Aubrey is very attentive to our dog’s needs. Goose is a nervous girl, and Aubrey takes care to make sure that she’s comfortable. She also checked in with us when Goose showed some pain/concerning behavior (she has an existing knee problem) and followed up with what care we recommended. She was communicative and obviously loves animals!”

“Thank you Bethany for a terrific experience. She met with us a week before since it was our first time having her board our dog. We received good updates and pictures during the stay.”

“Stephanie was great! She sent several photo updates throughout Luka’s stay, which I really appreciated. Luka had a great time, and I felt he was well taken care of. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Candice is great! She always sends us regular updates during our dog Cali’s stay and meets Cali’s needs whether that’s cuddles or long walks. I’d recommend Candice to anyone looking for an attentive dog watcher who genuinely cares for the pups she watches. Also, her dog Kuma is super sweet and welcoming!”
