About: I lost my Heart-Dog, a brilliant border collie named Beau last year. I miss taking care of him. I always felt responsible for Beau’s health & wellbeing, AS A DOG. Bringing him the best life possible was a joy. Treating my him like a human was never the goal. (Though he understood language and cues so well he often felt human). Learning his personality and needs was the goal. Seeing him happy, relaxed and social was the goal. And that will be my goal with your pup. Raising dogs is like raising young children (I have 4grown kids. Being loving, consistent and clear goes a long way. Establishing patterns of behavior that bring connection and peace. To that end. I will do my best to train your dog in my home with love and consistency. I’m very good at leash training and will have lots of insight for you if you have issues in walks. Let me know. My neighborhood is pleasant and I will walk twice a day in addition to yard play. I currently work from home except for a few hours each week that I teach Pilates. When I take dogs for care, I plan on all the time I need to do the job or I won’t take the job. I will listen intently to what is important to you and do my utmost to bring that to your pup. If I can’t or don’t. I will tell you. Not hide it. I have a private backyard with grass (about 20 x 45 feet) And a nice neighborhood for long walks. I have a bike with a dog attachment if you want me to run your pet. My home is cozy and that is why we cannot take two dogs. I will be a firm and loving teacher of your dog in my home. Or yours. I will be a student of your dog to understand what they like and need. However, I expect all dogs to be mindful & peaceful in the home. If there is excessive nervousness, barking, scratching or chewing, then I will ask for the dog to be removed. I do not have a crate, but if your dogs prefers one or has issues, please consider bringing one. I will rely on the owner to fill me in on their dog and act accordingly.

About: Since becoming a dog owner myself, my love for dogs has grown beyond ever imagine-able. I have learned unconditional love greater than I ever knew before and in my care, all of that love will be radiated to your little animals as well. In my free time, I volunteer at local dog rescues and from this experience, I continue to learn the ways in which is best to care for a dog depending on what they need based on what they have or have not been through. I am caring, loving and gentle and know that dogs sense that energy about me. I live only a few blocks by the beach and nothing sounds better than getting to enjoy that with your pup as well! I work from home, love to be outdoors and exercise daily. Nothing an extra companion by my side can’t do without! I try and take my boy everywhere I go and would treat yours the same - he/she would have my undivided attention all day To ensure a safe environment, before taking your dog into my home I would introduce my dog and yours outside, go on a pack walk together and even spend some time allowing them to play to provide the time and space for both dogs to learn how to set their boundaries and respect one another. When in the apartment, my dog is crate trained so space throughout the day would be established as needed. If your dog is crate trained, I would be more than happy to take anything necessary from you to make your dog feel like it’s at home. If for example, they are in the process of being crate trained, I would also be more than happy to continue any training you are currently performing in your own home so changes in routine are not disrupted. While in my care, I will send as many or as little photos and updates as you wish and I will make your dog as happy as can be!

About: I’ve had dogs growing up my entire life. I walk a ton and would love a buddy to go with me! Also open to watching as I work from home. I currently work from home so would love to just walk in the morning and evening, also have flexibility for afternoon walks too usually also I have a smaller apartment but 2 minute walk next to a big grassy park for them to go hang out / use the bathroom

“Mindy accommodated my request for evening care for my two dachshunds on short notice so we could attend an LA Dodgers game. Being from Hawaii, it was a special event for us. Mindy has a nice, clean and safe environment for the dogs.”

About: I love watching doggos of all sizes!! Would bring me no greater joy than to love on your little one in whatever way you need! I work from home with a very flexible schedule, so we can take as many walks, potty breaks or play breaks as your pet needs! I live in an apartment with plenty of space for playtime, and am just blocks from multiple dog parks (if that’s their jam), I am happy to entertain them, or just give them a safe space to rest and relax. Whatever mood they are in is good with me!

“Renee is truly beyond wonderful. Denzel loves spending time with her and her family to the point that he goes nuts with excitement when he realizes he's going to her house for day care. It's basically utopia for dogs.....lots of fresh air, dog friends, fetch and room to run. I always know that he is in the best of hands with Renee and after a day of playtime, he is happy, tired, and especially well behaved (a tired dog is a good dog!). We receive pics and videos during his stays and they confirm what i already know....Denzel is living the dream and having a blast playing his little heart out. I feel lucky to have found such an ideal care taker for my fur baby.”
