About: I was born into a house of cats and have never had at least one. I have been the primary/sole caregiver for my cats for the past 12 years and even as a child was always the main caregiver, giving my kitty an inhaler and medications for the last two years of her life from my ages of 6-8. Someday when I have the space and finances I would love a house full of cats (and a few pups), but right now I have one large, orange, 6 toed kitty named Simba. I have experience caring for senior cats, my late Sapphire was 18 when she passed recently and had been on kidney medication 2X daily for the past three years. I also had an asthmatic kitty who needed an inhaler for the last two years of her life so I am very capable of giving any medications your baby may require. In my home I have tons of cat toys, cat towers, and am in the process of setting up a catio for some safe outdoor play. I also have a second bedroom that is set up has an office/cat room if your baby is less social and needs their own space. However, my neutered boy Simba is very playful and loves making new friends if your cat is social! I have been called a crazy cat lady at the ripe old age of 27 and completely embrace that title! I love cats and would love to be a part of your baby's care village!
About: I've been a Mom of 3 furry dog tails (2 small street dogs and 1 husky) when i was 18yo till 21yo, at the age of 25 I become a Mom for adopted rescue boy of jack russell and rat terrier mix for lovely 4.5 years; during that time occasionally I would take care of my friend Husky at my house, and another friends Cats at their households. I love being around furry friends, play with them, take them on a very very long walks. My schedule is very flexible. I work at coffee shop 6 hours shifts; usually from 8AM till 2PM, rarely from 2PM till 7PM in Playa del Rey. I'm an early morning bird, so waking up around 6AM it's my normal. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for ~15 years for family and friends - including walking dogs and pet sitting since I was in high school and currently frequently watch my sister’s dog for her when she’s out of town or needs the help! I also have fostered dogs alongside my roommate for weeks at a time and got to see many pups find their forever homes 🥹 I don’t have a dog of my own (yet) but love love love dogs and any time I get to spend with them. I’m excited to be on Rover and make many new furry friends! I currently work from home 5 days a week so am able to offer around the clock care for any dogs! Can frequently take them out to my fenced front yard to use the bathroom and for walks, as needed, throughout the day. Can also let them out in the front yard while I watch if they want some outside time throughout the day to play. I’m also available for pre/ post work walks and weekends that I am in town. I have a fenced in front yard where dogs can play - only accessible to my roommate/ me and the other two apartment units attached to ours (very friendly tenants that we’ve become friends with). I can consistently monitor your dog throughout the day and if you wish for the dog to stay inside also happy to honor those wishes. They are also welcome to any parts of my apartment and on furniture (unless you would like them to stay off of furniture and I will of course respect your wishes). Non smoker household.

Before them, I rescued a kitten from a shelter who lived to be 18 years old. She had diabetes, so I administered her insulin injections twice a day, every day, for years. . Today, Chance has Addison's disease and corneal edema, so I'm very experienced with administering oral medications, injections, eye drops, and eye ointments (all things he needs now! ❤️). I understand how important it is to follow medication schedules and provide calm, attentive care, especially for pets with medical needs. . I grew up with Dobermans and German Shepherds, which gave me a lot of senior dog experience as I cared for them as they grew old. I have hands-on experience with reactive dogs, including redirecting behaviors, reading body language, and reinforcing basic training. Currently do not have any other pets living in the home (our senior dogs passed recently). Have one toddler who loves animals. Your dog must be good with children! Have a fenced in backyard and pool. I only take dogs from the same family so you can be assured your pet will be the only one in my home during its stay!
About: Hi! My name is Aubrie and I am a loving cat mom who grew up taking care of my family’s dogs, cats and horses as well as many foster and rescue pets in need. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life and I am so excited to be able to continue to care for animals through Rover! I live in a great neighborhood for walks as well as close to some good walking and hiking trails for your dog go on long walks. I’ll play with your pet or just let them relax if that is what they prefer. If your pet has any special requests or considerations please just let me know! I can’t want to meet you and your furry friend! I work a remote schedule that allows me to be home certain days of the week. I also work in an office that welcomes all dogs! I have been surrounded by animals and pets my whole life! I will treat your pet as if it is my own and ensure they have top notch care.
About: I was a dog mom to big labrador husky. Until recently, we had to say goodbye to our silly beloved pup. I want to continue giving my time and attention to dogs of all sizes on daily walks, check in with your pet at your home or board at mine. I also have a cat, and know how playful they can be as kittens and as adults they like to come to you with mellow energy. I know how special fur babies are to us and how much love they give back. Allow me shower your fur baby with love, playtime and daily walks while you are away! I have experience with dog pulling and how to handle barking at other dogs. I also can drive your dog to another location in my car. I will need your doggie booster or car harness. My mornings are remote working 8am-12pm during the week. I have a deck and large backyard the we can take breaks playing and a doggie door to access for potty breaks. After lunch, we can go on a nice long walk 30-60mins in the neighborhood. I have a fenced backyard and a sliding door for the deck. My parents have a senior cat, two double doors to separate access. I believe in respecting people’s space and privacy. When you need me to pet sit at your place, I will stay in the living room and kindly ask if I can use the restroom if necessary.

“Alicia and her boys are amazing! We are from out of state and have no one around in case of an emergency or anything like that so she knew I was very nervous leaving him. But they kept him safe and happy! Alicia was able to give him his nightly probiotic and his monthly simperica trio with no issues. The boys played with Ruger at his speed and are fantastic with dogs. I’m pretty sure Rugers mad he doesn’t have a boy to play with at home 😂. I fully trust them with Ruger and we can’t wait to send him back when we go on our cruise. I will be able to relax knowing he is safe and taken care of.”
