About: Hello! My name is Andrew and I am here on Rover to help any and all pet owners out there. As an owner of a Husky, I understand there are times when you need pet help in a crunch. I can work to be flexible in any situation that may arise! I am currently working full-time on the weekdays but I am able to fit any pet care into my daily routine as I am flexible. I am currently living in a 1-bedroom apartment with a balcony in case any pets need fresh air or to bathe in the sun!
“This was our second time having Ellie look after our Husky while we traveled out of town and she was great. We especially appreciate Ellie’s thoughtful and thorough updates and would highly recommend her!”

“We have never felt strongly about a pet sitter until Laura. Laura made us feel so at ease while we were away and we feel incredibly grateful. She sent so many pictures and updates and our cat seemed to love her. Could not recommend her enough!”

“Emilie was great with my cat Coco! She helped me out when I was out of town to keep Coco company and he seemed to really enjoy her company. Thanks again will book you for future trips!”
“Annalisa is an amazing dog sitter. She helps with training and is very accommodating with anything that needs to be done to make sure the dogs are happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“This was my first time ever trusting someone with a key to my home for pet sitting, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Natale. She was on time for every visit, followed my cat’s prescription diet instructions carefully, and made sure the litter box was always clean. My cat is very attached and I was nervous about leaving her overnight, but Natale sent me photos and updates each time, which really put me at ease. Knowing she was being so attentive and caring made all the difference. I would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful sitter!”

“Sam was so helpful with taking care of our medically-needy cats while my partner and I were away for a few nights! She was communicative and made sure to include lots of pictures, and we appreciated the detailed notes she left about how they were doing. We will definitely be return customers in the future!”

About: I have experience with all kinds of animals! I would love to take your sweet pet on some outdoor adventures!! My schedule is pretty open this summer and I am located in Venice, CA. My work this summer is pretty flexible so I am around to help care for your pets, whether it’s early morning walks on the beach or sunset strolls:) My dog Rosie is my lil baby, I love to spoil her and makes sure she gets lots of outside time. That being said she lives with my parents so I don’t have any other animals at my place:)
About: Ive always had animals growing up. Dogs, cats, even two birds and a turtle! Growing up I loved to pet sit for family and friends. I have fostered puppies, dogs, and kittens which I bottle fed. I am responsible and will always let your dog stop to sniff for some enrichment:) I am flexible for dog walks, I’m available anywhere from 6am-7pm! As long as I know a few hours in advance I will be there! For drop in visits I will always make sure your pup has plenty of water and is well fed. I’ll give them all the pets and play fetch(or if they have a different game they love) until they’re worn out!
About: I have had dogs/pets my whole life & currently have one fur baby at home. I really enjoy taking pups for long walks outside, or just checking-in with them to make sure they're happy, fed & safe. My current job is fully remote, & I take multiple breaks throughout the day to go for neighborhood walks on my own (my company encourages it!) so this would fit right into my schedule. I am very aware of my surroundings & cautious of other people/kids/dogs that are walking around. I always double-check that doors are locked, leashes are clipped & water bowls are full :)

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life (Rottweiler, guinea pigs, rats, mice, fish). My childhood dog, Gus, is a rescue Rottweiler mix and can at some points be a handful. I strongly believe that an animal’s behavior is linked to human actions and I feel that confidence is key! I’ve pet sit for dogs, bunnies, and cats in the past, and enjoy making a connection with them. I’m also very outdoorsy, so if your dog has a lot of energy, I’m down for a hike. :) I work 3-4 days a week at a local coffee shop in the heart of Santa Monica. My shifts are typically 5:30am-11 or 11-4:30, so I will always have at least half of my day open. I love being outdoors (hiking, going to the beach, roller skating) so some playtime or walks with your dog fit right into my routine. I also have a four door truck, so if a doggy field trip interests you, I’m happy to go on longer excursions with your pet :) Typically my childhood dog (Gussy) will get two walks a day (around 40 min) and lots of love/playtime otherwise. If you’re looking for someone to spend time with your pet, and not just meet the basic needs, I’m the gal for you!

“Did absolutely everything we requested! Made our pets feel comfortable at home while we were away and even came out before we left to meet the pets to make sure they would know who she was”

About: Animals were a big part of my life since I was a kid. I believe that they make our lives and us much better. If you never loved an animal that means that a part of your soul is sleeping ⏰ I would love to take care of these precious creatures 🤍 🇺🇦🇾🇪I also know 4 languages (Arabic, Ukrainian, Russian, English) it will be easy to talk 😌 I’m currently working part-time, so I am free to take care of your babies and they will have a lot of attention and love 🤍 I have enough space to take care of your pets, I’m living in a pet-friendly condominium, also there is a park near me that is within a 5 minute walk, so I’m waiting for you 🤍
“Brandy was exceptional! She left very thorough visit summaries and took great pics! Really appreciate her flexibility and obvious compassion for animals. Thank you!”

“Barbara did an amazing job taking care of my pets. She arrived on time, sent me cute photos of the pets, and did everything I asked to be done. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Natalia has become my puppy favorite person in the middle of the day. She always jumps with joy the minute she sees Natalia coming through the door, and my sweet little puppy doesn’t even notice when I leave! Natalia Tree, my puppy joy as a she was her very own. She’s always punctual, and followed my instructions to the letter. She is truly a lifesaver.”

“Hannah did great with Nakita! We were looking for a fill-in sitter until my family could make it over to house sit and she fit the bill! If we weren't moving to Salt Lake, we would 1000% rehire! Went above and beyond!”

“Kirstin has been doing drop-ins for my cats for the past month. Its been a super great experience, shes communicative, punctual and my cats love her. Highly recommend!”

Amy was absolutely wonderful!!! I have a senior cat with a very intense medication/feeding protocol and was so worried to leave him for one night. She absolutely made me feel at ease and I was able to truly enjoy my friends bday celebration. I will definitely have her watch my kit kats again. Thank you Amy!!!

Samantha was the most amazing cat sitter. She was so communicative, efficient, and most importantly loving to my kitty while I was away on my trip. I felt 100% comfortable being away from my kitten because of all of the videos, pictures, and care she took of my baby. Will absolutely have her watch my cat in the future.

Alyssa was wonderful with my cats! She came by Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning for 30-minute visits and was reliable and consistent every time. She had great communication and kept me feeling completely comfortable while I was away. I could tell my cats were happy and well cared for when I got home, and there were no issues or accidents at all. She was also very trustworthy, which is so important when having someone care for your pets and come into your home. I would absolutely book Alyssa again and highly recommend her, especially to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter!

I met with Morgane to book her for a trip. She was on time, looked presentable and was kind. She met with my dog and my birds. We had a talk about what I require and also what she requires. I hired her to stay and watch my pets for an 8 night trip. I am very happy I found her. Laura

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
