Pet Sitting in Venice

About: Hi! I’m a speech therapist and lifelong cat and dog lover based in Venice. I share my home with my friendly cockapoo, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of dog sitting a variety of breeds—including border collies, Italian hounds, and chihuahuas. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I’m committed to providing them with care that feels like home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cozy companionship, your pet will be treated like family! I’m new to rover and have no reviews yet :( I work as a school based speech therapist, so after school or care during breaks are an option! Afternoons are best for my schedule. Let’s make it work! I have a large apartment in Brentwood, with a fenced in dog park on the apartment grounds. When caring for animals in other people’s homes, I focus on maintaining their usual routines, providing plenty of affection (if they want it!), keeping their environment clean and safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: I've been a dog walker, dog lover, dog groomer, dog kisser, dog snuggler, dog hugger, dog teacher and dog admirer since the day I was born. Growing up, my family always had a dog around the house. We had Mandy Dog (a German Shorthaired Pointer), Winnie (fluffy-sunshine-mix-a-doodle) and Paris (Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix) at various stages of my youth. When I was 12, I raised my first puppy (a lil fluffy Golden named Lucy) and I taught her everything from sit to play dead. In high school I was a dog bather for a local dog groomer. From this job I learned about different breed personalities, needs and care. Currently, I work from home and would love to care for your friend. I'm very flexible on timing and availability. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can do same-day visits on the west side. Whatever you and your pet need I will try to accommodate. My front yard is enclosed and safe for sniffing and hanging out but I will be walking your pets all around my area (avoiding the canals) and playing with them on the beach (unless you don't want this/they don't enjoy that).

I always do my best to make dogs feel safe, calm, and cared for through loving attention, consistency, and gentle care. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to the pets I look after. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting, and I do my best to keep each pet on their usual routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. About: I grew up with cats but have taken care of numerous dogs throughout my life. I have experience with all sizes and temperaments, including seniors, special diets, anxiety-prone pups and routine-focused households. During the week I'm usually working in an Art Gallery in Inglewood where dogs are allowed. Working remotely is also possible. On the weekends im working in Retail on Abbot Kinney. I would love to discuss the schedule with you. Currently I'm house and pet sitting only. My apartment doesn't allow pets but I have no problem with moving into your home to make it as comfortable as possible for your fur-baby. I don't have a car, so it should be close to Venice Beach, walkable preferred.

About: I have been around animals my entire life and caring for pets has always been second nature to me. While I recently lost my dog, I currently share my home with a very independent, neutered cat who keeps to himself and does well around dogs. I live in a duplex with a large, fully fenced patio, which gives pets space to relax and hang out in addition to regular walks and park time. I am drawn to dog sitting because I understand how busy schedules can get and I genuinely enjoy being a reliable, caring extension of a pet’s family. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, walk times, energy levels, and behavior changes so pets feel secure and well cared for. I am an active person and make a point to keep dogs engaged through walks, playtime, and mental stimulation so they are not bored or restless during the day. Pets in my care are never left feeling lonely. I spend meaningful time cuddling, playing, and making sure their daily needs are fully met. While I do not have a traditional backyard, I live within walking distance of several large parks and spend a lot of time outdoors with the dogs I care for. On most days, I am able to spend up to eight hours with a pet between the morning and afternoon. My work schedule is steady, flexible, and close to home, which allows me to be fully present and attentive. I live with my husband, who is an architect and a true animal lover. He is comfortable around all pets and is always happy to have animals in the home. My cat is up to date on all vaccinations and is neutered. I prioritize a calm, clean, and safe environment and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I already structure my day around walks, feeding schedules, and dedicated time at home, so caring for another pet blends in seamlessly rather than feeling like an add-on. My work schedule is steady and flexible, and I work close to home, which allows me to be present throughout the day and check in consistently. On a daily basis, I plan my mornings and afternoons around walks, playtime, and downtime, making sure pets get both physical activity and calm attention. Weekly routines are equally consistent, with time built in for longer walks, park visits, and extra engagement depending on a dog’s energy level and needs. Because I keep a predictable routine, pets tend to settle in quickly and feel comfortable and secure in my care. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime based on what they are already used to. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels and adjust care as needed so pets feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets get consistent attention, exercise, and affection while maintaining a clean and relaxed environment.

About: Hi! I’m Hope. Originally from Wisconsin and now living on LA’s west side, I’ve always been a huge dog lover. I grew up with a black Lab and have yet to meet a dog I didn’t adore. My friends joke that dogs naturally gravitate toward me, and they almost always do. I don’t believe in simply “watching” dogs; I love spending time with them. Whether we’re going for long walks, playing fetch, exploring new smells, or heading to the beach, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and attention throughout the day. If your pup enjoys the sand and ocean breeze, there’s a good chance we’ll spend time at the beach tossing a ball, going for walks, and soaking up the sunshine together. I work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs in my care receive a minimum of two 30-minute walks daily, along with additional outdoor time, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. My apartment is spacious, pet-friendly, and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Whether your dog loves adventures or prefers cuddling on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. I’m a great communicator and will always keep you updated while you’re away. Please let me know about any routines, preferences, or special needs your dog has! I want to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. I’m available for walks and dog care anytime between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. I have a ton of flexibility during the work day since I’m a remote worker. I ensure dogs get out for a minimum of two 30 minute walks and plenty of potty breaks. My apartment is a spacious and pet-friendly space located in a safe, peaceful residential area. I also have a large, fenced-in patio where your dog can play and explore, and they’re always welcome on the furniture inside. Whether they love lounging on the couch or enjoying outdoor time, your pet will definitely feel right at home with me 🥰
