“Natalia has become my puppy favorite person in the middle of the day. She always jumps with joy the minute she sees Natalia coming through the door, and my sweet little puppy doesn’t even notice when I leave! Natalia Tree, my puppy joy as a she was her very own. She’s always punctual, and followed my instructions to the letter. She is truly a lifesaver.”

About: I've had experience with dogs since I was 8 years old. My childhood dog, a golden retriever named Kellsey, lived to be 14 years old and I was involved with everything having to do with her care. I now have a 6 year old goldendoodle who I have raised since he was a puppy. I can't wait to meet your pup and give them the same love and care that I give my own! I am also extremely detail-oriented and follow directions well - if you include it, it will absolutely get done! I work remotely and have a flexible work schedule so am able to take time out to visit or walk your pet. For walks, I will also have my dog (40 lb goldendoodle) with me - pack walks are the best! I take safety and trust very seriously and want all clients to feel comfortable. I walk my own dog everyday and am familiar with how to have a fun and safe walk! For drop-in visits, I will make sure to follow all instructions so you feel confident in the care your dog or cat is getting.

My apartment community has a dedicated fenced dog park, giving dogs a safe place to walk, play, and get exercise. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.

“Annalisa is an amazing dog sitter. She helps with training and is very accommodating with anything that needs to be done to make sure the dogs are happy and well taken care of. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: Hi I’m Jasmine, I've been caring for dogs and cats for family and friends since 2020. I love getting to know each pet's personality and building trust with them. One of my favorite things is taking dogs outside to enjoy fresh air, explore, and simply have fun. I work from home and don't have pets of my own, so I have a very flexible schedule throughout the day. I'm available for morning, midday, or afternoon walks and can often accommodate last-minute requests. Your pet's safety always comes first. I'll follow your routine, pay close attention to your pet's needs, and make sure every walk is safe, fun, and stress-free for both of you.
About: My love for pets began from an early age. My room was resembled a zoo by the time I was ten. Friends rely on me to look after their pets when they're away and I'm experienced with all types of animals and their required care. This is my primary business that I run with my girlfriend who is also available when necessary. I'm reachable 24/7 so owners can have some peace of mind while they're away and as much phone contact as they want. Three day minimum for house sitting please. I have a charming house with a large completely fenced in backyard and friendly neighbors who all have a variety of animals. Your pets will have full time attention and be very comfortable when boarding with me, my wife and two cats.
“We had a great experience with Grace! She did a fantastic job with our anxious / high needs cat and was super attentive, responsive, and reliable. We’ll definitely be booking again soon!”

“Rachel was very easy to communicate with and great with our kitty! Leaving a pet in the hands of stranger while on vacation can be scary but Rachel helped alleviate our worries with her clear and apparent love for animals! Would definitely recommend 10/10.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have cared for everything from 10-pound lap dogs to 100-pound giants. I also cared for my own senior dog for the last three years of her life, so I'm comfortable giving medications and providing the extra patience and attention older pets need. I also have a young cat named Annie and have experience caring for foster cats. In my free time, I volunteer with a local animal rescue, where I work with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or just wants someone to keep them company, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. I am currently looking for a new full time job so I have plenty of time to devote to different types of pet care at the moment! I treat every pet like they're my own and try to stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. I'll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other care they need. I know every pet has a different personality, so whether they want to play, explore, or just curl up on the couch, I'm happy to meet them where they're comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you know how they're doing while you're away.
“Yuliia has been so helpful and was able to care for my high maintenance cat on various medications! The cats were nervous with someone new on top of us just moving but she won them over! I recommend her!”

Our schedules ensure your pet will never feel alone, and we can accommodate drop-ins, walks, or extended visits as needed. Safety, trust, and comfort are our top priorities. In our home, pets are always supervised, have access to fresh water, and enjoy a clean, secure environment where they can play, rest, and explore safely. We separate spaces when needed to ensure harmony among pets and use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. We also prioritize open communication with owners so they always know how their pet is doing.
“Roxane was awesome! Very communicative and followed complex feeding/care instructions super well. Grateful to have someone so kind to look after Scout while I’m gone. Definitely will be booking with Roxane again :)”

“Aech was wonderful for a drop-in for my boy! She took him out for a potty break then gave him lots of love and attention until leaving. I got prompt updates and photos right after the visit. Would definitely book with Aech again!”
About: I grew up with cats but have taken care of numerous dogs throughout my life. I have experience with all sizes and temperaments, including seniors, special diets, anxiety-prone pups and routine-focused households. During the week I'm usually working in an Art Gallery in Inglewood where dogs are allowed. Working remotely is also possible. On the weekends im working in Retail on Abbot Kinney. I would love to discuss the schedule with you. Currently I'm house and pet sitting only. My apartment doesn't allow pets but I have no problem with moving into your home to make it as comfortable as possible for your fur-baby. I don't have a car, so it should be close to Venice Beach, walkable preferred.
About: I've been a dog walker, dog lover, dog groomer, dog kisser, dog snuggler, dog hugger, dog teacher and dog admirer since the day I was born. Growing up, my family always had a dog around the house. We had Mandy Dog (a German Shorthaired Pointer), Winnie (fluffy-sunshine-mix-a-doodle) and Paris (Australian Shepherd/Pitbull mix) at various stages of my youth. When I was 12, I raised my first puppy (a lil fluffy Golden named Lucy) and I taught her everything from sit to play dead. In high school I was a dog bather for a local dog groomer. From this job I learned about different breed personalities, needs and care. Currently, I work from home and would love to care for your friend. I'm very flexible on timing and availability. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can do same-day visits on the west side. Whatever you and your pet need I will try to accommodate. My front yard is enclosed and safe for sniffing and hanging out but I will be walking your pets all around my area (avoiding the canals) and playing with them on the beach (unless you don't want this/they don't enjoy that).

About: Just moved from Seattle to Venice beach. Starting over and rebuilding my boarding clientele. My boyfriend and I have a beautiful one bedroom apartment with a fenced outdoor space just steps from the beach. We have three dogs which consist of two seniors and one lazy one. In Seattle I had an upward for 40 or so regular clients whose dogs I cared for over many years. It was tough saying goodbye but I’m excited to rebuild and make new dog friends here in Venice :) Dogs have been my world since I was a kid. I started out working in dog daycares and boarding facilities where I learned a lot about pack behavior, safety, and reading different personalities. I later moved into grooming, which I still enjoy doing sometimes. Over the years I’ve also been involved in foster care and rescue for dogs in high kill shelters later helping dogs find homes. I most recently spent seven years working in veterinary medicine so I’m very comfortable recognizing health issues and caring for dogs with different needs. When pets stay with me, they become part of the household. I keep a calm, structured environment with lots of attention, play, and rest time. Dogs have access to comfy spots to relax, supervised social time if they enjoy other dogs, and consistent routines so they feel secure, safe, and genuinely at home.
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly treats every pet like family. I’m the proud dog mom to Ollie, my energetic 1½-year-old pup, and cat mom to Kiwi, who I’ve raised since she was a kitten. Caring for them has given me firsthand experience with everything from puppy energy and training routines to creating calm, loving environments for cats. Outside of caring for my own pets, I volunteer with No Kill LA because helping animals is something I’m genuinely passionate about. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. As a full-time professional, I know how important reliability, communication, and trust are. You can expect regular photo updates, prompt responses, and attentive care so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life! I work full-time from home four days a week, giving me the flexibility to provide attentive care and spend quality time with your pet. My mornings always begin with feeding my cat and dog. I then go on a 30-minute walk with my dog, Ollie, and I build my schedule around making sure pets get the exercise, playtime, and love they need. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I have a fenced yard that they are welcome to use. Inside the house, my home is their home. We allow them to go wherever they are most comfortable

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Venice
Caitlin went above and beyond while taking care of my cat during my week-long trip. My cat was a bit difficult during the first visit, but Caitlin immediately communicated with me to come up with solutions so the following visits would go more smoothly. She genuinely cares about animals and wanted the best for my cat despite his rowdy behavior. Her communication, patience, and dedication made this one of the best Rover experiences I’ve ever had, even with the initial challenges. I would 100% hire Caitlin again, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable pet sitter!

I can always rely on Mimi to take care of Pabu when I’m away! She checks on his needs well and makes sure his environment is just right for him in addition to basic care. If you want someone who will pay a lot of attention to your furry friend, I highly recommend Mimi :)

Emilie was amazing! She sent numerous photos every night, not just of the kitties but of them eating, her playing with them and, most importantly, loving on my babies. In fact, I’m pretty sure one of my kitties was looking for the first day we were back, at the time Emilie normally came! It sure made being away from my babies as we said our final goodbye to my mother that much easier.

Jennifer took amazing care of my cat, Dim Sum, while I was away. She was incredibly communicative and sent detailed updates with lots of pictures after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. I truly felt that Dim Sum was in the best hands. Jennifer took the time to pet, brush, and play with her, and it was clear she genuinely cared about her well-being, not just completing the visits. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and wouldn’t hesitate to book Jennifer again. Highly recommend!

Riley was amazing with my cats! She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of them while I was away. My cats can be a little particular, but they were happy and well cared for when I got home. I really appreciated the updates and would definitely book Riley again. Highly recommend!

Veronica is amazing! She's incredibly kind, caring, and patient. Most importantly, my pups have taken to her so quickly, which is rare because they both have a bit of stranger danger at first. My dog, Chance, has Addison's disease, and I love that Veronica has a vet tech background. She truly understands his medical needs, knows how to help keep his stress levels as low as possible, and can recognize the early signs of stress. It's such a comfort knowing she's fully capable of administering his eye drops and eye ointment, and can even assist me with his hormone injections. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Veronica. Knowing my pups will be in such knowledgeable, loving hands while I'm away gives me complete peace of mind. We already have a few more trips and drop-ins scheduled with her. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
