She came over to meet my cat and dog and I could tell immediately what a kind and patient animal person she is. I have a very anxious dog and she was really great with her. By the second visit, she didn't bark and was looking forward to Lauren's drop-ins. Our place was clean and the animals were happy as can be when we arrived home. She sent pictures and provided detailed updates during her visits (really looked forward to these :) I highly recommend leaving your animals in the care of trustworthy Lauren!”

About: I’ve cared for many dogs and cats over the years, having worked with a number of animal shelters including Miami Dade, a dog rescue from the Everglades, the Labelle Foundation, and several others. As an experienced foster mom, my goal is to create an environment in which animals feel safe and loved. I am a graduate student and have class most of the day Monday and Tuesday, however, the rest of my week is fairly open, so I’m flexible. My goal above all else is to create an environment in which any animal feels safe and at home, whether it be on a walk or in a home setting.

“I feel so fortunate that I found Sam on Rover!! She is patient and kind and it is very obvious she loves animals. My kitty Lilly recently had medical issues and required close attention. Sam was wonderful in informing me daily how Lilly was doing when Sam interacted with her, as well as monitoring her food/water intake AND output :). “I have a senior dog and Skye has been a lifesaver for me. She really understands how to tailor the walk for my slow-moving dog but also give him exercise. My dog thinks he is a puppy and loves to play tug, but really his teeth are too weak. Skye is able to play with him in a way that doesn't harm my dog, but he thinks he's really tugging!”

“Diego has been walking my 3 dogs for about 4 months everyday and they love him! My biggest one, a Great Pyrenees,sits and waits by the gate and waits until he gets here! They all get so excited to see him— lots of tail wagging! After walking them, he sits and plays with them for a while. They have really bonded to him and love him! And he loves them! He is an animal lover for sure, and you can tell by his gentle, loving nature with them—- which is super important to me. I know they are in good hands with him‼️”
