Volunteering at a shelter reminded me that behind all those funny moments is something even more important—every dog wants to feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become pretty fluent in “dog language.” 🐶 That’s why I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and earn their trust. I think it’s the best part of spending time with them. I work full-time, seven days a week, so I’m available to provide reliable and consistent care for your pets whenever you need it. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn the little details that make them unique — their favorite activities, walking habits, how they communicate, and what helps them feel comfortable. During each walk, visit, or house sitting stay, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing how your furry friend is doing. About: Hi! I’m Henrique (Hicu), and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have experience caring for my own dog, Johnny, as well as helping family and friends with their pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and enjoy long walks, playtime, and making sure every pet feels safe and cared for. My background as a rowing coach has taught me responsibility, patience, and attention to detail, and I’ll care for your pet with the same dedication I bring to my work. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I currently have a flexible schedule and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends when scheduled in advance. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care and make sure your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. During every visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’ll also keep your home secure, follow any special instructions carefully, and send updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: As a lifelong pet lover, I make sure every pet is comfortable, happy, and part of the family. Being home full-time means your pets get all the playtime, walks, and cuddles they deserve. I have experience working with a variety of behavioral needs and can also administer medication when necessary. Your pets will receive all the love and attention they need while you’re away! Since I’m home full-time, your pets will receive plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and love. With Palisades Park and the beach a few blocks away, your dog will have plenty to explore! Safety and trust are my top priorities. I provide a secure, pet friendly space with toys and cozy places to relax, and I closely supervise playtime and interactions. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs so they feel comfortable in my care. I also keep owners updated and respond promptly to any concerns, so you can feel confident your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have experience caring for animals of all sizes working on farms. I currently have a dog of my own, and we love hiking, going on adventures, and spending time outdoors at the beach. My passion for animals is endless, and I always love and care for any animal as I do my own. Whether big or small, I’m experienced, reliable, and committed to keeping your pets happy, safe, and active. I’m currently working part time and taking online classes so I have plenty of time. I spend a lot of my time with my own dog and could certainly share that time with yours! My dog, Dobby, loves having a friend around! We’ve had foster dogs in our apartment and they all adjust quite nicely. We don’t have a yard but we spend a lot of time outdoors going on hikes, walks and going to the dog park. I have gates to separate dogs if I need to as well.

About: I’ve owned dogs for the past decade and currently have a small 8 month old puppy named Sugar. She loves other dogs and is so playful. She’s very sweet and submissive, she loves big and small dogs of all sorts. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and I walk Sugar at least 4-5 times a day. She would love a pal to walk, hang, and play with throughout the day. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and a patio that’s puppy proof. My courtyard is gated for extra security and safety. I have no problem with dogs on the couch (I even have a mini staircase).
