“I booked Anel last minute, and she was amazing!!!! She was so kind and spent so much time with my baby. She also listened to all instructions, even when I wanted to change some things last minute. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have loved animals my whole life. I have dog sat multiple times and have lots of experience training and playing with my own dogs! I am available mornings - late afternoon all weekdays. I am currently a music student on summer break so my schedule is very open. I spent the rest of my day practicing, so I can take last minute requests. I love walking dogs, and I am used to dogs that pull/lunge and I am capable of keeping them safe regardless of leash manners. I also love playing fetch or any game that can be played in a fenced in yard.
“Brady did an amazing job with my Frenchie! They went outside for some fresh air together, and then came back in for play time. I got some good photos from their time together and updates on their walk. Would definitely book with Brady again!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I can remember! Petsitting is something a lot of members of my family do, so because of that, I make it a priority to meet the needs of every animal I come across. I do my best to make them feel loved even without their true owners around! I am currently taking a gap-semester in my first year of college and looking to make some sort of income while also meeting adorable animals! I am free most days and willing to be there for your pet at any time I’m needed. I have 4 cats and no dogs. I don’t let my cats outside, and make sure to keep all doors leading to the outside closed and clear of cats. I have never owned a dog, but I have plenty of experience caring for them and I would say I am understanding and happy to follow any rules/precautions you may have set for your own dogs.
“Minay is the best! She’s super reliable and communicative and great with my cat (who can be particular), taking good care of her and making her feel at ease. Highly recommend!”
“Candie is the best. This is her third time checking on my cat Jupiter, and I am always so happy with how friendly, responsive, and caring Candie is! Jupiter recognizes her now, and it’s so reassuring to know Jupiter gets lots of love while I’m away.”

“Eric did an amazing job looking after my 8 month kitten when I was going away for holiday for 2 weeks. I had travel logistics that made handing off the keys a little bit difficult, but Eric was super flexible and responsive which made the whole experience very smooth. He is great with cats and got along with Callie immediately. The home was in great condition when I came back as well. If you are looking for a responsible sitter for your pet, look no further than Eric! He even brought over some toys for her to play with that he let us keep afterwards. 100/100!”

“We always feel so at peace knowing that our cat is being taken care of by Daniele (even as admittedly somewhat helicopter cat parents)! She goes above and beyond to coordinate and communicate always. Both we and our somewhat shy cat cannot recommend her enough!!”

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from young puppies and kittens to senior pets. I'm comfortable with daily pet care responsibilities, including feeding, cleaning up after pets, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, administering oral medications and flea treatments, and providing plenty of attention and companionship. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets and situations. I've even assisted pregnant dogs and cats during labor and birth, which has taught me to stay calm, attentive, and responsive when animals need extra care. I'm also always eager to learn and expand my experience with other types of animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while giving pet owners peace of mind. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care and ensure pets receive the attention they deserve. I'm also available on weekends, making it easier to provide care when many pet owners need it most. I do my best to work with each pet owner's schedule and provide reliable, consistent care. I carefully follow each pet owner's instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and daily routines to help pets feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are away. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive attentive care, companionship, and a safe environment at all times.

I can house sit anytime between Thursday and Monday. I can walk and check in on your fur baby as many times as needed. I will follow any house rules and general rules you have for your fur baby. I will give your pet all the attention they require and keep them to their routines and habits. You can trust that your pet will be well taken care of while you are away.
“I feel very good about having hired Sabrina for drop-in visits to care for my two cats while I was out of town. Sabrina was professional, reliable, helpful and friendly. She was responsible in performing the necessary tasks. The photos I received put my mind at ease that my cats were in good hands. I would definitely recommend Sabrina and would utilize her services again. Thank you Sabrina!”

“WOW! Saige has been such a good sitter for my cat while I was gone for 3 days. She was so sweet and kind. My cat warmed up to her really well. She also took so many pictures to update me, came on time, and followed any instructions I had specific for my cat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“Karolina is friendly, punctual and brings such good energy to care for our older dog who just needs some gentle care. We appreciate Karolina so much!”

“Julia is so sweet with my dog! Super reliable, communicative, and kind. My pup Sophie is difficult but Julia has won her trust and so I'm glad to have her back in my home hanging with my pup.”
“Sofia came in clutch again for a last minute booking after I'd already left town. Even through a mix up with the keys (my fault) she kept her cool, communicated immediately, and rolled with the change in plans. Definitely recommended and will use again.”

“Crystal was the sweetest and the most caring cat sitter for my baby! She was super attentive to all of our instructions, was accommodating in doing a very last minute meet-and-greet, was communicative throughout the visits, and she even took out the trash from his dirty litter for us (which was very nice to come home to after a trip) ❤️ our cat loved getting attention from her and i can tell she is truly an animal lover. Highly recommend!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Los Angeles
Sofia really exceeded our expectations while looking after our two cats. She was punctual when we scheduled our key drop-off and initial greet with the cats, who immediately warmed up to her. She followed all of our care instructions to the letter and we could tell they were well cared for in our absence and relaxed upon our return. Not only that, but there was a heat wave while we were away and our AC unit was malfunctioning at the time, leading to some high temperatures inside. Sofia found creative ways to help mitigate the heat, adding ice cubes to the water dishes and even moving fans around to help air flow through the unit when it cooled off in the evenings. It really helped reassure us during our travels and was undoubtedly appreciated most of all by our cats. We are grateful for her thoughtful assistance and would highly recommend her help to anyone looking for a sitter.

Steph was amazing - I just moved to LA and needed a new sitter to visit my sweet kitty while away on a work trip and I was so happy with all of her support. She was communicative, accountable and great with sharing updates and photos as well. I’ll def be rebooking with Steph!

Let me start by saying that if you’re looking for a kind, empathetic, calm, patient, and compassionate caregiver for your pet, Eric is your guy. He was exactly what my cat and I needed today. I have a very skittish and scared foster cat who I needed help with and truth be told, I wasn’t sure how Eric would be with her. She’s sick and needed to go to the vet but is hard to handle getting into a carrier. Eric arrived on time, with a lot of calm and soothing energy and approached my cat with the utmost love and concern. And she did not make things easy; she put up quite a fight but Eric was never mean, was never impatient, and exudeded kindness and gentleness the whole time. Moving forward, I will enlist Eric’s help EACH AND EVERY TIME FOR ALL MY PETS.
I’ve been working with Jenny for a long while. I feel completely confident leaving my cats in her care. She’s prompt, super communicative and leaves robust updates of the cats each day along with a lot of pics! It makes our time out of town all the more enjoyable knowing the cats are in such good hands. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m so glad we found Daniele to take care of our two cats while we were away. From the very beginning she was very communicative and flexible. The meet and greet went very well, and she was really attentive to the boys, and taking notes as I showed her around. While we were gone she took excellent care of them during her drop ins, and made sure to send tons of photos which we really appreciated. We even had to extend her visits by a day due to a flight change and she was very understanding and flexible. Coming home, everything was spotless and odorless, she really took care of everything. So so grateful and will definitely be reaching out to her first every time, and so should you.

Sarah and David were amazing! This is my second time booking with them, and I can't recommend them enough. They were excellent communicators, followed my care instructions perfectly, and took the cutest photos of my cat. I always feel at ease knowing my cat is in such great hands!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
