About: My name's Kat and I absolutely love dogs! I've been taking care of them for over 20 years. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters as a dog walker so am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My current fur babies are a 16 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) named Sophie and a 6 year old poodle-bichon mix named Wally. We are a package deal. :) We live in a small house with beautiful fenced-in backyard in mid-city. Together, Sophie, Wally and I will make sure your pup has an amazing time during their stay! We look forward to meeting you! I work normal hours running a small business from home so am able to give lots of attention to your pup! We typically take 2 shorter walks a day, generally around 15-20 minutes each. I also take a longer walk (about an hour) around lunch time and will bring along any higher-energy dogs I’m watching who need more exercise. Playtime happens whenever your dog wants! Wally loves playing with his toys and other dogs, so they will have a playmate if they come over. The house is on the corner lot and has a fenced-in backyard that I let the pups out in every couple hours. I will always greet you first with Sophie and Wally outside to ensure the pups will be just fine, but Sophie and Wally are sweet and used to having friends around so that hasn’t been an issue in the past. Inside we have hardwood floors. The space is a decent size with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area, so large enough to separate the dogs if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. The pups have full roam of the house. They are both super chill. Sophie mainly cuddles up in her bed under my desk as I work or chooses to hide and sleep under my bed. Wally hangs out in the AC in the living room and watches out the front window - he’s the “neighborhood watch.”

Growing up in a close-knit community, I started helping neighbors with pet sitting and house sitting around age 10 and have loved it ever since. About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had a cat that lived to be 19, a Black Lab that made it to 16 and a Weimaraner that made to 13. I have a lot of experience caring for elderly pets and I have the energy for puppies. I have administered medication for both dogs via pill and shots. I most recently have been pet sitting my neighbors dogs and cats, if references are requested. I'm currently work remotely and am very flexible with time/hours/days/evenings/long term stay/short term stay/drop-ins. I offer over night stay as long as Wifi is provided for my work computer. About: For as long as I can remember I have always had love and respect for animals. I’ve had a couple of pets growing up such as fish, turtles, cats, dogs and now I own a chameleon. About: There have been dogs that don’t like one of their owners to leash them but after a couple of times love me to let them do so - I think that’s pretty special I work part time in retail and am as friendly with customers as I am with pets, if not more so lol they know I’m there to let them go out and see/smell the world I think I love caring for pets in their own home because they feel more comfortable and it’s nice to see them play in their own yard because they’re more comfortable as well as just being able to take a walk around their hood

I personally trained her and have supported her through every stage of life from energetic puppy to loving senior dog. Caring for her for almost 15 years taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability along the way. I’ve also fostered (almost failed) and dog-sat for friends and families, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, temperament, & care needs. I currently WFH on Mondays and Fridays, and generally stay home during the weekends. I am pretty active and could take dogs on long walks, but I’m also a homebody and could just chill. I have a small fenced front yard and a larger backyard where it’s easy to take frequent potty breaks and where dogs can feel free to play.
