About: Hi! I'm a reliable, caring, and active dog walker who treats every dog like they're my own. Whether your pup needs a quick potty break, a long walk to burn off energy, or some extra attention while you're away, I'm here to help. I'm dependable, punctual, and committed to making sure your dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I'll tailor each walk to their needs—whether they're energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. You can count on me for clear communication, plenty of love and attention, and updates with photos after each walk so you know your furry friend is having a great time. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am working full time and looking for extra income on my off days. I have off Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. I can also be flexible after work! I am in a house with a gated back yard. Quiet neighborhood that is safe and secure for walking around the neighborhood at any time.
“Finding a trustworthy sitter can be stressful, but Monica made it easy. She was always on time for visits and kept me updated throughout. Her responsiveness really set my mind at ease. I'll definitely be booking her again for my next trip!”

About: I have always had love and compassion for other animals. My experience with dog-sitting and dog walking expands over 3 years. Thank you for considering me as your future pet-caregiver. Have a beautiful day. Kind regards, Camryn I have open availability during the weekend and am available during the week specific time-frames. Dog feeding (and providing water), walking and petting are included with every visit. ‘Petting’ your pet is one of my favorite parts of the job! I am unable to host overnight/day visits. I care for my pet and their environment by keeping the space tidy and safe from any sharp or dangerous objects. I work to ensure that the pet feels comfortable within their social surroundings.

About: I've been a cat and dog owner my whole life and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. I have experience with cats (including kittens and seniors), dogs (including puppies and seniors), rodents, and a little experience with ferrets. I try to adapt to your pet's mood and "social" preference, so I can be calm and comforting or high-energy as needed. I travel frequently as a freelance sailor and photographer, but when I am here in San Pedro, my schedule is wide open. Because pet-sitting is my only occupation when I'm in town, I'm able to make your pets my priority with zero corporate distractions. I am available anytime from 9am to 5pm for consistent daily midday walks, flexible check-ins, and short-notice bookings. Since I live right here locally and have my own reliable vehicle, I can adapt to your pet's routine seamlessly. I try to keep to your pet's routine and your standard of care-giving as much as possible. Every animal has a unique personality, and I completely adapt my style to match exactly what they need on any given day. If you have a high-energy puppy who needs a brisk, fast-paced walk around town to burn off steam, I am ready to move. If your pet is older, shy, or prefers gentle companionship, I am more than happy to focus on slow sniffs, belly rubs, and quiet cuddles. I treat your home with total respect, leave everything exactly as I found it, and provide you with detailed updates and photos after every single visit.
“Elizabeth did an excellent job caring for my 10 month old kittens while I was away for a few days. She went above and beyond in every aspect from care to play to any clean up, and communication. Will definitely book again.”

“Gassia is a star! I’ve had her care for my two babies several times now and to say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. Your fur babies couldn’t be in better hands”

About: My name's Kat and I absolutely love dogs! I've been taking care of them for over 20 years. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters as a dog walker so am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My current fur babies are a 16 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) named Sophie and a 6 year old poodle-bichon mix named Wally. We are a package deal. :) We live in a small house with beautiful fenced-in backyard in mid-city. Together, Sophie, Wally and I will make sure your pup has an amazing time during their stay! We look forward to meeting you! I work normal hours running a small business from home so am able to give lots of attention to your pup! We typically take 2 shorter walks a day, generally around 15-20 minutes each. I also take a longer walk (about an hour) around lunch time and will bring along any higher-energy dogs I’m watching who need more exercise. Playtime happens whenever your dog wants! Wally loves playing with his toys and other dogs, so they will have a playmate if they come over. The house is on the corner lot and has a fenced-in backyard that I let the pups out in every couple hours. I will always greet you first with Sophie and Wally outside to ensure the pups will be just fine, but Sophie and Wally are sweet and used to having friends around so that hasn’t been an issue in the past. Inside we have hardwood floors. The space is a decent size with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area, so large enough to separate the dogs if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. The pups have full roam of the house. They are both super chill. Sophie mainly cuddles up in her bed under my desk as I work or chooses to hide and sleep under my bed. Wally hangs out in the AC in the living room and watches out the front window - he’s the “neighborhood watch.”

“I cannot speak moren highly of Shanelle and Gaelen. Absolutely top notch folks. They immediately got in synch with Edna. We had an initial visit and they were clearly open to learning and adapting to Edna's environment and home. Edna is lovable but rambunctious at first but that did not jolt or seem to effect S and G. They kept me fully abreast of everything about Edna during my vacation, from her diet, to exercise to her mood. You cannot go wrong with Shanelle and Gaelen! Highly highly recommend!”

“Anna was wonderful and extremely communicative taking care of our two cats while we were away. She provided so much piece of mind. Would absolutely recommend.”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, fish, and other animals. I also assisted my dogs through three litters, helping care for both the mother and her puppies. I'm comfortable following care routines, administering lots of love and attention, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Since I'm currently available full-time, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make it a priority to follow each pet's routine, whether that means feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, or simply providing companionship and comfort. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine and your instructions closely. I make sure they're fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, exercise, and play, and feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I also keep your home clean by tidying up after pets, monitoring their well-being, and keeping you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.
“Melissa was awesome! She took care of our three babies for a few days and they seemed really happy when we got home. She was also really sweet and helpful with everything. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Liz was a great sitter for us and took wonderful care of Rocky and Her Babes while we were away. She was thoughtful, communicated any needs and gave them plenty of play time. She knew exactly how to handle the little menaces. 🖤”

“Super professional and flexible. Ashley took great care of the little cat dudes; they were excited to see her every day and knew to expect some playtime, and she had no problem with my one cat with glaucoma who needs a bunch of eyedrops. They loved her, and I was very happy to have someone I could trust checking on the cats.”

About: As a dedicated pet lover and the owner of two senior dogs, I understand the patience, attention, and compassion that pets need at every stage of life. Caring for my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with senior pet care, including administering medications, following special routines, and recognizing changes in behavior. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I'll provide personalized care based on their unique needs and routine. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands. Some of my special skills include: Puppy Training: I have experience with early-stage puppy training, helping them learn basic commands, socialization, and proper house habits. I’m patient and can reinforce positive behaviors in a fun and engaging way. Senior Pet Care: I’m sensitive to the needs of older pets, providing them with gentle care and attention, such as assisting with mobility, managing medications, and ensuring they’re getting enough rest and comfort. I also keep a close eye on any changes in behavior or health, alerting owners to potential concerns. Behavioral Experience: I can help with pets who have specific behavioral challenges like anxiety or aggression, using positive reinforcement techniques to guide them toward more balanced behavior. Personalized Care Plans: Whether it’s a special diet, medication schedule, or a specific routine, I make sure to follow your pet’s care instructions to the letter, ensuring consistency and peace of mind. I aim to provide your pet with the same care, love, and attention they receive from you, so they feel relaxed and happy in your absence. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine since I care for my two senior dogs every day. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide consistent walks, feeding, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I enjoy spending time with animals and can easily adapt to each pet's routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special care instructions so I can provide consistent, personalized care. In a client's home, I respect their space, follow all feeding, walking, and medication schedules, and make sure pets have plenty of attention and affection. I also keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets during walks and playtime, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“We had a wonderful experience with Brianni. She was very communicative with me and Wilbur’s needs. She followed directions and Wilbur loved playing with her. Was a pleasure to come home to a crated sleeping puppy with no issues.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Leiment Park
Cassidy was so thorough in making sure she understood how to best take care of my cat beforehand; asking about how to get into the house, asking about health concerns, etc, so not only was I completely confident that she’d take great care of my cat - but it felt great to welcome her into my home! She was so responsive and helpful, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone in the area!

Have been using Ashley on Rover for a while now. She takes great care of our cat Mel making sure that she has everything she needs and also helps us out when we are traveling by watering the plants and bringing packages in. She knows all of our cat’s hiding spots and always manages to find her when she’s hiding deep in the closet or under the bed. We often schedule within a week or two of travel and she’s always been extremely flexible and accommodating. We trust her with Mel and with the code to our home - highly recommend.

This was our second time using Paula and we were as pleased as last time. She arranged to stop by ahead of time to review food updates and the house security system again and during the short time we were away, her drop ins were timely and the kids were relaxed. We will definitely use her again if we need a sitter.

I booked Mackenzie for a second time when I was out of town for a long holiday weekend- as always, she was responsive, friendly, and took great care of my cat Bea. Mackenzie always takes sends great pictures and updates with every visit, and I had peace of mind while traveling.
