About: I've been a cat and dog owner my whole life and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. I have experience with cats (including kittens and seniors), dogs (including puppies and seniors), rodents, and a little experience with ferrets. I try to adapt to your pet's mood and "social" preference, so I can be calm and comforting or high-energy as needed. I travel frequently as a freelance sailor and photographer, but when I am here in San Pedro, my schedule is wide open. Because pet-sitting is my only occupation when I'm in town, I'm able to make your pets my priority with zero corporate distractions. I am available anytime from 9am to 5pm for consistent daily midday walks, flexible check-ins, and short-notice bookings. Since I live right here locally and have my own reliable vehicle, I can adapt to your pet's routine seamlessly. I try to keep to your pet's routine and your standard of care-giving as much as possible. Every animal has a unique personality, and I completely adapt my style to match exactly what they need on any given day. If you have a high-energy puppy who needs a brisk, fast-paced walk around town to burn off steam, I am ready to move. If your pet is older, shy, or prefers gentle companionship, I am more than happy to focus on slow sniffs, belly rubs, and quiet cuddles. I treat your home with total respect, leave everything exactly as I found it, and provide you with detailed updates and photos after every single visit.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, starting with my own rescue pup since I was in fifth grade. I personally trained her and have supported her through every stage of life from energetic puppy to loving senior dog. Caring for her for almost 15 years taught me patience, empathy, and adaptability along the way. I’ve also fostered (almost failed) and dog-sat for friends and families, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, temperament, & care needs. I currently WFH on Mondays and Fridays, and generally stay home during the weekends. I am pretty active and could take dogs on long walks, but I’m also a homebody and could just chill. I have a small fenced front yard and a larger backyard where it’s easy to take frequent potty breaks and where dogs can feel free to play.

About: My name's Kat and I absolutely love dogs! I've been taking care of them for over 20 years. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters as a dog walker so am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My current fur babies are a 16 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) named Sophie and a 6 year old poodle-bichon mix named Wally. We are a package deal. :) We live in a small house with beautiful fenced-in backyard in mid-city. Together, Sophie, Wally and I will make sure your pup has an amazing time during their stay! We look forward to meeting you! I work normal hours running a small business from home so am able to give lots of attention to your pup! We typically take 2 shorter walks a day, generally around 15-20 minutes each. I also take a longer walk (about an hour) around lunch time and will bring along any higher-energy dogs I’m watching who need more exercise. Playtime happens whenever your dog wants! Wally loves playing with his toys and other dogs, so they will have a playmate if they come over. The house is on the corner lot and has a fenced-in backyard that I let the pups out in every couple hours. I will always greet you first with Sophie and Wally outside to ensure the pups will be just fine, but Sophie and Wally are sweet and used to having friends around so that hasn’t been an issue in the past. Inside we have hardwood floors. The space is a decent size with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area, so large enough to separate the dogs if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. The pups have full roam of the house. They are both super chill. Sophie mainly cuddles up in her bed under my desk as I work or chooses to hide and sleep under my bed. Wally hangs out in the AC in the living room and watches out the front window - he’s the “neighborhood watch.”

About: I have taken care of dogs throughout my whole childhood. For the past 5 years, I have taken care of two cats that I love so much! Alongside these 5 years I have done many rovers around the Asheville NC and Denver CO areas for all types of animals. Now that I have settled in the surrounding Los Angeles area(Mid-City), I am excited for more work involving pets. I am currently working from home, so my schedule can be pretty flexible. I also have my transportation so I am able to travel within reason. I have the energy to walk/play with pets as much as they need, but I can also be quite relaxed with pets which has helped me calm stressed animals on several occasions. I have experience crating dogs, taking care of lizards, rats and hamsters, and have even put in an IV for a cat several times. Being a pet owner has empowered me to be very knowledgeable about animals mental and physical health, which has been a tremendous help with my pet sitting work.
