“Salud was FANTASTIC with my senior dog. I know my dog really enjoyed having access to a yard and I received regular pictures which put my mind at ease. I will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“Brittany is the best! My pup Nala is a sweetheart but deals with a lot of reactivity issues and it’s hard to find someone with enough experience, patience, trust, and love to watch her while I’m out of town. Brittany was more than willing and able to work with her and give her a chance. Brittany was AMAZING with her. I didn’t worry once about Nala while I was out of the country. She walked her multiple times per day, played with her, made sure she was always safe, and gave her so much love. She already has crates for large dogs at her home, which made everything so much easier. She gave me lots of updates, pictures, and videos every single day. She followed all of the instructions I left and took her job very seriously. Nala loved her so much and I could tell she felt right at home. Thank you so much Brittany!”

“I can tell Sheila loved and cared for my dog as if he was her own. He had a great time staying with her and her family and I would definitely book with her again”

“Vasilisa was amazing. It was my dog’s first time with a new person over night. My dog was shy and nervous but Vasilisa was extremely patient. Great with communication and updates. Gave me a lot of peace of mind as we were away. Thank you so much!!!”

“Molly was awesome taking care of our dog ; she kept us informed with updates and pictures, and made us feel comfortable while we were out of town. I will definitely book Molly for our dog sitting.”

“Gaelen and Shenelle are the perfect forster parents for your furbabies! They went above and beyond when my (very shy) Flacko stayed with them. Lots of walks and attention, as well as updates to reassure me. When he was being fussy with eating, they even cooked some food for him. The cherry on top was their dog, Ruby. She was the ideal companion, with her calm and friendly demeanor.”

“Patricia is a gem! She was so accommodating when I had to modify my days for family reasons and she was so understanding. Maxx loves her even smiles for the camera which I can never make him do.”

“Shontel is an amazing sitter! She also has grooming services. Oakley smelled so good after the bath she gave him! I am so grateful for the quick response and videos too. Oakley loves her!”

“Alicia and James were incredible sitters and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to book care or overnight sitting for your pet. They were super accommodating, offered to meet Kirby prior to booking and were very communicative throughout the process, sending multiple updates and photos throughout the booking. It really helped to know he was in such good hands, getting frequent walks and lots of attention. Took a lot of the stress of being out of town knowing Kirby was well taken care of while I was away.”

“Thank you Rosario and Ryan for another wonderful stay🥰 It was Bisco’s first overnight stay with them, and she sometimes doesn’t eat because she can get a little nervous/anxious at a stranger’s house, but she ate her meal with them just fine. Thank you for providing a clean, warm, comfortable, and safe space for Bisco🙏🏻 Will book again and highly recommend for other fur parents!”

“Vuanh & Travis were one of the best Rovers I have had & I have been using this app for years now. Everyday the photos sent showed my dog Bella having the time of her life as she became acquainted with their 3 fur babies living with them. Each day the photos showed a clear message that Bella, Cheese, Crackers, & Pickles were becoming more than just acquainted, but the best of friends. It was clear that she was treated as part of the family by how comfortable she became snuggling with the other dogs & always having a smile on her face. The multiple walks they took everyday let me know that Bella's high-energy & adventurous attitude was taken into consideration greatly, which, for other rovers, I cannot say the same. They went above & beyond; Upon my arrival back to pick her up, she seemed like she wanted to stay a few more days (^^,). I will be coming back to them everytime & I hope you give them a chance to give your dog(s) the same experience!”

“Qiwen was an amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly attentive and kept me updated throughout the stay with regular photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared and paid close attention to every detail. I could tell he was happy, comfortable, and very well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely trust Qiwen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and communicative dog sitter.”

“I needed to board my German Shepherd mix Layla for the first time, and we were both very lucky to find Rubin! He always responded right away, which made me feel comfortable, and I could tell from the photos that Layla was having a great time at Rubin's place. I'd definitely recommend Rubin to anyone looking for a responsible, caring person to board their pet - I will certainly reach out to him again if Layla needs to go on another vacation!”

“This was the second booking with Jessica and she took great care of my Sunny girl yet again. Location is safe and central. She was very responsive and accommodating to my requests and Sunny’s needs; would definitely recommend and book again”

“Wooyoung was great with our dog, Captain. He seemed genuinely happy in her photo/video updates and was happy when we picked him up. Wooyoung followed our care plan and seemed to help our pup keep as much of his routine as possible for a smooth stay. Highly recommend.”

“Catherine was great to work with a we won’t hesitate to book with her in the future. She was kind, communicative, and accommodating. She allowed us to do a trial day/night before our long booking of ~9 days to be sure our pups and her home were a good fit. I felt so comfortable and relaxed on vacay because I fully trusted Catherine with my dog. She sent frequent updates and photos but never too much that it was overwhelming. I think we finally found a reliable sitter!”

“Ebony and her family took great care of my dog while I was out of town for the weekend! She was very communicative, sent me pictures, and even rearranged her afternoon to accommodate my travel schedule! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Lacey was amazing with Noosha! She kept me updated with photos and took her on all sorts of adventures while I was on travel. Treated her like her own. Thanks Lacey!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! She truly exceeded all of my expectations. She was communicative, kind, and always on time, everything you could hope for in a sitter. As a first time cat mom leaving my cat, I was a little nervous, but she made me feel completely at ease. Her updates were so thorough, and she sent lots of pictures, which was incredibly comforting while I was away. I had zero stress and full trust in her the entire time. I will absolutely be booking her every time I go out of town. She’s the best, 10/10 recommend!”

“Finding a trustworthy sitter can be stressful, but Monica made it easy. She was always on time for visits and kept me updated throughout. Her responsiveness really set my mind at ease. I'll definitely be booking her again for my next trip!”

“It was so wonderful to have Elizabeth as our sitter! She was very detail oriented and kept in communication with us throughout our time away. She engaged the kitties, and in one case, even got our cat playing with a toy he hadn’t been interested in for a while. I appreciated her regular updates and knew our kitties were in good hands. I certainly hope to book again”

About: I love all animals but I definitely consider myself a cat person. I have experience with elderly cats, shy/rescue cats, and I have domesticated feral kittens. I'm always happy to adapt to whatever your cat needs - lap time, playtime, ear scritches, or just a human servant who puts out the food and lets them go about their business.
“Lauren took amazing care of our cat Yoko for 11 days while we were on vacation. She was attentive, reliable, and kept us updated with photos and messages. We came home to a very happy cat. Highly recommend Lauren for cat sitting!”

“Gloria has always been a great pet sitter for us! She’s so nice to work with and has often helped out with little things we forgot (grabbing packages/taking out trash). She’s also takes great pet photos when she checks in!”

“Anna was wonderful and extremely communicative taking care of our two cats while we were away. She provided so much piece of mind. Would absolutely recommend.”

“Mackenzie took the best care of my babies whilst I was out of the country. She was friendly and professional and I loved receiving updates and photos from her whilst I was away. I will be asking her to cat sit again. Thank you!”

“Ashley is always super communicative, attentive, and gentle with my senior kitty. I know that she is extra careful to be sure that Pepper gets all her medications and pays close attention to her eating and litter box habits to monitor her health and well-being. I feel so much more comfortable traveling knowing that Pepper is in her care. Thank you, Ashley, for taking such good care of my sweet Pepper!”

“Sasha sent lots of pictures and videos and kept us up to date on our cats’ behavior and moods! We were happy to leave our cats in her care and would definitely book her again. Thank you Sasha!”

About: My name's Kat and I absolutely love dogs! I've been taking care of them for over 20 years. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters as a dog walker so am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My current fur babies are a 16 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) named Sophie and a 6 year old poodle-bichon mix named Wally. We are a package deal. :) We live in a small house with beautiful fenced-in backyard in mid-city. Together, Sophie, Wally and I will make sure your pup has an amazing time during their stay! We look forward to meeting you! I work normal hours running a small business from home so am able to give lots of attention to your pup! We typically take 2 shorter walks a day, generally around 15-20 minutes each. I also take a longer walk (about an hour) around lunch time and will bring along any higher-energy dogs I’m watching who need more exercise. Playtime happens whenever your dog wants! Wally loves playing with his toys and other dogs, so they will have a playmate if they come over. The house is on the corner lot and has a fenced-in backyard that I let the pups out in every couple hours. I will always greet you first with Sophie and Wally outside to ensure the pups will be just fine, but Sophie and Wally are sweet and used to having friends around so that hasn’t been an issue in the past. Inside we have hardwood floors. The space is a decent size with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area, so large enough to separate the dogs if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. The pups have full roam of the house. They are both super chill. Sophie mainly cuddles up in her bed under my desk as I work or chooses to hide and sleep under my bed. Wally hangs out in the AC in the living room and watches out the front window - he’s the “neighborhood watch.”
About: I have taken care of dogs throughout my whole childhood. For the past 5 years, I have taken care of two cats that I love so much! Alongside these 5 years I have done many rovers around the Asheville NC and Denver CO areas for all types of animals. Now that I have settled in the surrounding Los Angeles area(Mid-City), I am excited for more work involving pets. I am currently working from home, so my schedule can be pretty flexible. I also have my transportation so I am able to travel within reason. I have the energy to walk/play with pets as much as they need, but I can also be quite relaxed with pets which has helped me calm stressed animals on several occasions. I have experience crating dogs, taking care of lizards, rats and hamsters, and have even put in an IV for a cat several times. Being a pet owner has empowered me to be very knowledgeable about animals mental and physical health, which has been a tremendous help with my pet sitting work.

“This is the second time I’ve brought my Toy Aussie Bonita to Kat when visiting my sister in LA. Bonita doesn’t like to be home alone and Kat was kind enough to accommodate taking her in the evening last minute so I could go to a show with my sister. It was so great to know that Bonita would be safe and well cared for so I could enjoy my time out!”

“Salad was very sweet and responsive. She was able to take my pup last minute and was very timely in coming out for his pickup and dropoff. He was only there 7 hours but he got 2 walks appropriately:)”

About: Hi, I’m Claudine! Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly second nature to me. I live in Los Angeles with my two beloved dogs, Max (my affectionate cuddle-bug) and Leyla (my gorgeous English Bulldog with the funniest personality). They’ve taught me patience, love, and the joy that comes from giving animals the care they deserve. I’ve also volunteered at the South LA Animal Shelter, where I helped with kennel cleaning, light grooming, dog training, and assisting families with adoptions. On top of that, I’ve trained with LAK9s, gaining hands-on skills in handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. These experiences taught me how important it is to not only keep pets safe but also make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their people are away. My Pet Care Style I know every dog has their own quirks, needs, and routines. Whether your pup is a ball-of-energy puppy, a senior who needs extra patience, or a dog who just wants some love and belly rubs, I’ll meet them where they’re at. I’m attentive, reliable, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. When pets stay with me, they’ll have plenty of playtime, snuggles, and attention. I also make sure to keep you updated with regular photos and notes, so you can feel at ease knowing your best friend is safe and happy. What Sets Me Apart • A lifetime of experience living with dogs • Shelter volunteer work with dogs of all sizes and personalities • Hands-on training experience from LAK9s • Deep patience and compassion, especially for senior dogs or pets who need a little extra care • Two friendly dogs (Max and Leyla) who love company A Little Extra I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pets. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where your pet feels at home — whether that’s for a walk, a day, or a whole vacation. I work from home am available to your pets during the day and night. They are crated at night or can roam free during their stay. I have a safely fenced yard and two small to medium pups of my own that love other k9 company 😀. The safety and comfort of pets at my home is key.
About: I have working experience with pets with anxiety, aggression, shyness, trust issues, and more. I've trained “untrainable” dogs with love and compassion. Animals tend to have an immediate bond and connection with me. My own pup passed away in 2023 after turning 18. When I'm with your buddy, I treat them like my own family, and I'm ready to go above and beyond to meet their care needs. Pet care is my #1 priority, and I have flexible hours and reliable transportation. I'm available in the entire LA area. I'll work with you to make your life as easy as possible! I am diligent about where animals are at all times, and my phone is away when I’m caring for your dog—except to update you with cute photos! After having pets for 18+ years, I’m comfortable and have an instinct for safe animal handling.
About: I've taken care of small and big dogs that are great with children. I started out with friends and their dogs and have decided to dog-sit for others. I'm pretty much available. If I'm not in the gym, I'm a mom and I'm dedicated to being free for any school or fun activities. I take my sons to the park, and we love long walks. So your fur baby 🐶 will get plenty of sun 🌞. I have a fenced-in driveway and backyard and can easily crate your pup if requested. I'm a helicopter mom in the best way possible, so my children have never gotten into anything dangerous, choked on anything, or been hospitalized due to an unsafe environment, including any fur babies that I have watched. I treat them like my kiddos, with love and protection.

“Thank You Anna! My large dog loved her long walking adventures with you! Anna did a great job. She’s on time, flexible, fast at responding back with any questions, and takes great pictures. She’s very responsible and always made sure that the house was locked up and my dog was well taken care of even when my dog was sick. Highly recommend and would love to book again!”

About: I currently take care of my puppy, Pebble, with my partner. I’m a dog lover with a playful 1.5 years old corgi, and I truly understand the care, attention, and love dogs need every day. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience with various breeds, ages, and temperaments (1 golden retriever, 2 corgis, 2 english springers). What sets me apart is the level of attention and structure we provide. Since my own pup needs frequent potty breaks, we’ve naturally built a routine of regular walks, outdoor time, and consistent care throughout the day. I also have a fenced backyard that the dogs can play around in. I’m currently a graduate student (half remote) at USC, so I have plenty of free time to care for your babies. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods, and they’ll get plenty of company, cuddles, and playtime (not just from me, but also from our extremely friendly puppy). I’m especially good with puppies. I’ve had my puppy since she was 2 months old. I’m also the ones to train her. If you're looking for a sitter who treats dogs like family, keep a close routine, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pups, I’d love to care for your furry friend! I am a full time student (half remote classes), so I’m home most days. I’m available for regular care, attention, and companionship. Usually I wake up around 9 and will take my corgi on a walk. Lunch at 11 am, and another walk an hour or so later. Puppy gets her dinner at 6:30 pm, and I usually walk her before and after dinner. I typically go to sleep around midnight, and I take our puppy out on a walk before I go to sleep. I’m open to dog walking, dog sitting, dog boarding and cat sitting. I hope to provide a safe and loving environment. I’m a respectful, clean, and great guests.
About: Will provide lots of love to dog! I treat all pups as if they were my own (lots of scratches, snuggles etc.). I only accept one client at a time, which ensures your pup has an experience just like being at home 🐾 I grew up with dogs my whole life up until living on my own. I don’t have any of my own right now, but dog sitting gives me the puppy fix I need. I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years! I work from home so my days are flexible, walking your pup is a great excuse for me to step away from my desk and stretch all 6 of our legs! While I’m able to provide lots of quality time and affection, I don’t have capacity for the attention and stimulation that high energy dogs require. I have a fenced in yard and love letting pups relax and enjoy themselves, or run around and play. My neighborhood is walk-friendly with sidewalks.

About: My partner and I are life-long dog-owners and dog-lovers, we hope to open up our home to local pets! We currently have our own dog, Ruby (12 years old), who loves hanging around other dogs and plays very well with them. We already care for our pet pretty much 24 hours a day, so it is easy for us to add an extra set of paws to our daily routine. Shenelle currently works from home every day and I work from home 4 days a week, so we're able to make sure to offer around the clock care to the pets in our home. Rest assured that your dog will have our attention, as we both work from home and have a puppy monitor set up in our home. We have enough toys for our pets to share, and a small semi-fenced backyard. There is one opening that is not fenced, and if you would prefer we do not let your dog outside, we are happy to honor your wishes.
“Yana is amazing! She goes out of her way and you can tell she really cares for all animals. Super punctual, always communicates and is just a sweet person all around. I’m a repeat customer!”

About: I've been a cat and dog owner my whole life and have been pet-sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. I have experience with cats (including kittens and seniors), dogs (including puppies and seniors), rodents, and a little experience with ferrets. I try to adapt to your pet's mood and "social" preference, so I can be calm and comforting or high-energy as needed. I travel frequently as a freelance sailor and photographer, but when I am here in San Pedro, my schedule is wide open. Because pet-sitting is my only occupation when I'm in town, I'm able to make your pets my priority with zero corporate distractions. I am available anytime from 9am to 5pm for consistent daily midday walks, flexible check-ins, and short-notice bookings. Since I live right here locally and have my own reliable vehicle, I can adapt to your pet's routine seamlessly. Every animal has a unique personality, and I completely adapt my style to match exactly what they need on any given day. If you have a high-energy puppy who needs a brisk, fast-paced walk around town to burn off steam, I am ready to move. If your pet is older, shy, or prefers gentle companionship, I am more than happy to focus on slow sniffs, belly rubs, and quiet cuddles. I treat your home with total respect, leave everything exactly as I found it, and provide you with detailed updates and photos after every single visit.
“Daisy was amazing with my pup Shorty! She met us for a meet and greet and then took Shorty on a walk when I was away. I could tell she really cared about meeting Shorty’s needs, and went above and beyond. Looking forward to next time, thank you!”

We will definitely be booking Elena again.”

“Saron is truly amazing, she has such great energy which made Zepp feel extremely comfortable right away. Zepp was so happy to see her after the first time which shows just how much she cared for him on his walks.”

I take time to understand each dog’s routines, triggers, and preferences so I can provide consistent, thoughtful care. I’m attentive on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and always keep dogs secure and comfortable. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions—from feeding routines to training cues. As a dog owner, I know how much communication matters, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you always feel connected and reassured.
“I trust that my two girls are in good hands with Ashley! She takes care to hear all of your pets needs and is very kind, patient, and understanding! My two babies loved her immediately!”

“Our dog isn't great with strangers, so we have a kind of over-the-top way of introducing him to new pet-sitters. Colette was super willing to work with us to make sure the introduction went well, and did an excellent job walking our anxious dog! We will definitely hire her again.”

“Corwin is the best! So caring and always has the best updates that make it so I don’t even worry about leaving my bestie at home. In fact I think he has more fun with him ..”

“Rosa was very communicative and sent a lot of pictures. She took on my 2 pugs on very short notice and took excellent care of them. She was great to work with - so kind!”

“Katharine is the sweetest sitter we’ve ever had! She has a gorgeous, clean place that our pup felt calm and at home in. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you for treating our little girl like your own xoxo”

“Bridgette is amazing!! So glad we met her; she took care of my dog who just had surgery and has separation issues for three days… Bridgette was able to get him to settle down, administer medication, and provide many walks, play time, and snuggles on the bed. She also provided many photos and videos along with updates on how he was doing. I could not ask for a better experience- he even gave her a kiss goodbye! We will definitely be booking with Bridgette again sometime. Thank you again!”

“Lucero took wonderful care of my dog and gave her so much love and attention while I was away. They played together, went on multiple park outings, and Lucero even brushed her and spoiled her with treats. It was clear my pup felt happy, safe, and cared for the entire time. Lucero is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy — your dog will absolutely be in the best hands with her!”

“Deanna was phenomenal! She helped me when I was in a pickle and needed a dog sitter on very short notice. Not only was she willing, she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and communicated regularly with updates throughout my dog’s stay. I picked up a very happy pup who’s acting like his usual self. I can’t thank Deanna enough!”

“Melanie was AMAZING! I am so happy to have found her. It’s always a little unsettling leaving your dog behind on vacation, but knowing she was with Melanie (and basically on vacation herself!) put us at so much ease. Zoe had so many great adventures during her 1-week stay, from pack walks in the hills to the beach and beyond. Melanie and her family treated Zoe like a member of their family, which made us so happy. Melanie was super communicative and sent photos of their adventures daily. We’ll definitely be taking Zoe back to Melanie next time we need someone to look after her!”

“Tiffany took great care of my dog while I was away for a week. She kept me updated with photos, was very responsive, and I could tell my dog had an amazing time with her. Highly recommend!”

“Claudine was wonderful. I was really anxious about leaving our 1.5-year-old dog with someone for the first time — and for a full two weeks — but Claudine put me at ease right away. She consistently sent photos, videos, and updates, which made our vacation so much more relaxing knowing our pup was in such good hands. We’re also very grateful for the level of care she provided at such a fair cost. Other sitters we looked at (even those with backyards) had higher rates, and as a bonus, our pup got to sleep on the bed and couch. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Claudine again and highly recommend her. 🐾”
