“We have a fearful senior rescue dog with a complicated history, and Liz has been great about doing an initial meet-and-great and then an extended drop-in to spend time with our dog alone. She very much understands how to interact with a fearful dog who needs time to feel trusting. Her experience as the guardian of a rescue dog herself definitely comes into play. She was punctual, cheerful, and generous-minded, and we really appreciate her willingness to work with Penny! We will definitely use her again.”

“Amy was exceptional! Super communicative and made sure my lil guy was well taken care of, despite his anti-social behavior! 10/10 would recommend Amy to anyone in need of a cat sitter! ☺️”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog who lived to be 15 years old, giving me experience caring for dogs at every stage of life. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their dogs while they were away. I understand how important exercise, routine, and attention are for a dog’s happiness and well-being. Whether it’s a short walk, a long walk, playtime, or simply keeping a dog company, I’m dependable, attentive, and committed to providing excellent care. I also have experience caring for cats and fostering animals, which has helped me become patient, responsible, and comfortable with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I am currently a student at the University of Miami and am home in Los Angeles for the summer. My schedule is very flexible, and I am available seven days a week for pet care, dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I am dependable, responsive, and happy to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend requests whenever possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and make sure pets maintain their normal routines. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and companionship while you’re away. Having cared for dogs and cats throughout my life, I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to create a safe, calm, and positive experience for each one.

About: I’ve grown up with every pet you can imagine and had dogs almost my entire adult life. Currently working from home and would love to take care of yours while you get some time to yourself. Some of my recent professional years have been spent in VetMed so your pup is in good hands. Lots of love in this home! My schedule is very flexible so I can accommodate most existing routines. Happy to go on multiple walks daily, adapt to special diets, and get some couch cuddle time in. I would prefer if your furry friend is ok in a crate for a few hours if I need to leave, and doesn’t expect to sleep in the bed. But outside of that they can expect most of my attention :) Your pet’s safety will be my first priority at all times. I make sure to go over all of your pet’s special needs and routines.
“Melissa was a great sitter! She was very attentive and provided plenty of play during her drop ins. Very communicative and sent lots of pictures. My cat enjoyed having her around and happy to trust her with him again!”

About: Hello Pet Parents 🐶🐕🐩🐕🦺🐾🦴 My name is Max and I’m a lifelong dog lover with a calm, grounded energy. I’d love to be your dog’s new best friend! I truly love getting my steps in (at least 10k a day, lol) and dogs, so walking dogs is the perfect life for me. I know how much dogs mean to me, how close I am with mine, and how much trust is put in someone when they let a stranger walk their dog. I’m reliable, considerate, and have a deep love for dogs and their owners!, I"m also a great photographer and love taking dog pictures. I've worked with dogs of all ages—from high-energy puppies who need structure and play, to sweet senior dogs who move at their own pace and need extra gentleness. I’m patient, communicative, and I take my role seriously: your dog’s safety and happiness come first. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and I’ll keep you updated every step of the way. I work from home as a writer, so my schedule is super flexible. I’m usually at my desk in the mornings, and I love taking breaks to walk or run throughout the day—it clears my head and helps the writing flow. How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? Whether I’m in your home or mine, my focus is always on making your pet feel safe, loved, and at ease. I take the time to learn their routine—meal times, walks, play, and any special needs—so I can keep things consistent and low-stress. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and attentive to details. I follow instructions to the letter and always clean up after myself (and your pet!). I’ll check in regularly with updates and photos, so you never feel out of the loop. If I’m caring for a dog in my apartment, they’ll have a calm, cozy environment, supervised access to a secure balcony for fresh air, and plenty of love and attention. Walks, playtime, and snuggles are all included.

About: I have been obsessed with animals of all kinds since birth but my love for dogs started with my very first pup - Buck the black lab, who I grew up with. As I kid I started my own dog walking business putting up posters all around the streets of Long Beach. And then my very first job as a teenager was at PetSmart at their Pet Hotel caring for dogs in boarding and doggie daycare. Since then I have consistently volunteered in dog rescue working at adoption events and caring for dogs onsite at their facilities. While I am working on building my own small business, nothing would bring me more joy than you care for your sweet pups while you're away. I am currently working on building my own small artisan ice cream business and I am looking to help supplement my income part time while still doing something I am passionate about! I am available to walk and check in on your pet (or even take them on a nice hike) most weekdays especially in the morning or midday hours. I am available some weekends as well if planned in advance! I have a lot of experience house and pet sitting so I take caring for a pet inside of their own space very seriously. Dogs LOVE routine so I am more than happy to follow all of the typical feeding, medication, and training routines that you have already established with your pet. We can also go on walking routes that your dog is already most comfortable with.
About: Pets have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. From small dogs to large breeds, cats, and even pets with special health needs like diabetes, I’ve been the go-to caretaker for family and friends my whole life. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I genuinely love. Whether your pup needs a leisurely stroll or a full-on hike, I’ve got you covered. I tailor every walk to your dog’s needs, energy level, and comfort and always with their safety and enjoyment in mind. I’d love to connect and answer any questions you have. Your pet’s happiness and your peace of mind are my top priorities. As a therapist, my schedule varies day to day which actually works out great for pet care! I often have pockets of availability throughout the day, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, making it easy to accommodate drop-ins, feedings, or check-ins that fit your routine. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment living with one other person and two bengal cats. I keep the home safe and friendly for pets!
“Elena was great! She took excellent care of our cats despite our somewhat complicated instructions. We also had a leak under the bathroom sink while we were out of town, and she let us know right away.”

“Wrenley is amazing! She took such great care of Bumi and was incredibly thoughtful, asking detailed questions to make sure she understood exactly how to care for him. We felt so comfortable leaving him with her.”

About: Aside from being the sole owner of a dog (9 yrs old) and cat (7 yrs old), there has never been a time in my life where I have not had pets and been around animals. My family always had cats and dogs growing up and I have a great deal of experiencing caring for them. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs of different ages, sexes, breeds, and personalities. I also have experience administering medication and dealing with injuries and medical conditions. I am wonderful with animals and can promise your pet is safe and loved when being taken care of by me. My schedule is very flexible and open and I can work with any sort of arrangement. Just ask! I just recently moved to LA and do not work at the moment so my schedule is entirely open right now. I spend most of my days out hiking or at the beach with my dog and figured I could share the love and take care of others animals while making some extra cash. Depending on the animal, the type of care changes. Everyone knows all cats and dogs aren’t created equal and need different things to feel safe. Also boarding and care preferences change owner to owner. For example, some dogs require crates and others can be trusted in the house without barriers (depending on owner preferences). I will adjust my care based off what you and your pet want and need! :)
“SUPERB. Samuel is fantastic I almost want to gatekeep his services! w/Pets: Moments after he came through the door, I knew he was great at what he does. He calmly waited for my three dogs (Lab/Pit Bull 65lbs, AmStaff 50lbs, Cavachon 15lbs) to bark, approach, sniff, & welcome him. Less than 5 minutes of him standing at the door, he asked the girls to sit AND THEY ALL DID proving that not only do dogs love him but respect him as well! w/Me: I immediately felt comfortable, and safe, with the idea of leaving my ‘kids’ with Samuel. He asked all the right questions, even some I had forgotten to think of myself! He asked to learn the rules and routines of our house, I told him that he didn’t have to (I can be a little strict/precise), and he implemented them anyway to ensure that their routines were as typical as possible :’) Once again: SUPERB”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.
“April has been SO great with our senior dog and cat - can’t explain how much of a relief it is to know they’re in good hands when we’re not home! Highly recommend ?”
About: My family has had dogs for my whole life. Every part of taking care of them has always been a complete pleasure. I find myself really going into mama mode when a dog is involved. I believe caring for someone’s pet is just as serious as caring for someone’s child, and I take that responsibility very seriously. You should feel completely confident that your fur baby will be happy, comfortable, and safe at all times! And I’ll be sure to give you many updates during the booking. I earned my certificate in Cat & Dog First Aid and CPR by American Red Cross. I already go on walks around the neighborhood, and would love to be able to bring your dog with me. I think any adventure is 110% more fun when a dog is there to share it with you!! When your dog stays with me, they will get constant love, attention, and multiple walks each day to the beautiful park that’s across the street.
“Marcellas did a great job coming by and walking Banksy and Clyde. He also was great at communicating and sending pics of my dogs. I def. will have Marcellas take care of my dogs again.”

About: Hi there! Huge fan of furry, four-legged friends here. I have 9 years cumulative experience working directly with dogs in a doggy daycare setting as well as through the Wag! app(cats too!). My experience with animal care in general extends back to since I was a young adult caring for family pets and neighbors’ pets. Most of those animals were cats and dogs, though I did also care for rabbits and reptiles. I’m excited to be here and looking forward to meeting new people and animals through this platform! :) In addition to pet care, I have one job that requires me to be away from home on Mondays from 11am-4pm and every other Wednesday(usually 1-3pm but timing flexible). Beyond that, I have some scheduled and scattered dog walks throughout the week, so I am able to pop back and forth frequently to check in on boarded animals that might be staying over! I have a gated yard, large kennel, dog bed, and tons of toys, treats, and bowls on site to accommodate your pup(s) or cat(s)! I don’t have any animals of my own at the moment, though I do have a decent number of plant babies in the house and yard. I also have a doggy first aid kit and I am planning on getting certified for CPR!
“Ginger did such an amazing job taking care of my dog and cat. Very punctual, very communicative, and the animals were well taken care of. Would recommend Ginger for all of your pet care needs, especially for those who have very high maintenance dogs like mine.”

Pico-Robertson pet parents share their Rover experiences
I happened to be looking through the camera when Madeline arrived to see my dog. His tail almost falls off. He was so happy! I turned off the camera and went on to do what I needed to do knowing he was fine! I got so many pictures! I loved the pictures of his feedings! Upon returning Tuna was happy, his just -in - case wee-wee pads had been changed. Everything was fine. I asked her a few things and gave so many detailed instructions and she always replied with a great attitude. I highly recommend her!!!

Alessandra is an excellent sitter! She has great communication, and I always felt that my baby was in caring and professional hands. I truly appreciated her last-minute availability and flexibility. I would absolutely love to work with her again and highly recommend her to others!

Stefano took wonderful care of my cat, Dylan, during a two-week trip, and I came home to a happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for kitty. Dylan is currently adjusting to the recent loss of his littermate brother, so it was especially important to me that he have someone kind, attentive, and patient checking in on him while I was away. Stefano was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about Dylan’s well-being. He sent updates, made sure all of Dylan’s needs were met, and gave me peace of mind throughout my trip. It’s obvious he genuinely enjoys animals, and Dylan seemed very comfortable with him. I would absolutely book Stefano again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Our first time booking with Kaylee bc our usual cat sitter was out of town. We left her with what felt like a lot of detail and nuance, but no issue, she's a total pro. Very communicative, responsive and maybe the best photographer of our kitties? 😂 Will definitely rebook with her in the future. Thank you for taking such great care of our kitties!

I took a chance booking Janelle last minute for over two weeks of daily visits and I’m so glad I did! She was so sweet and communicative, cleaned up after my kitty in multiple ways, and even took out my trash at the end of the job. I will definitely be booking with Janelle again!

Julia did a great job cat sitting for me for two weeks. She communicated clearly and consistently, and was very flexible with scheduling and any changes. My home was left clean and well cared for. Most importantly, my usually shy cat felt comfortable with her, which really says a lot. I would definitely trust her to cat sit again.
