About: Hi everyone! I am a life-long animal lover and am very excited at the opportunity to help care for your fur-kids! I have plenty of experience with walking, house sitting, and drop-ins. I work with seniors and puppies, aggressive and meek, dogs who pull on the leash and dogs who tire out before they can even pull! Your furry friends are in the most capable of hands with me! I work remotely from home and can also work from anywhere. That said, scheduling is never a problem for me. I have very open availability and am always ready for my next appointment! While caring for pet's in their own home, I like to have very detailed chats with the pet parents to find out all aspects of their pets day-to-day (favorite toys. things to avoid, their favorite spots to hang out, etc) and will periodically check in just to give updates, send photos, etc. I want the pet parents to be as comfortable with me as the pets are!

About: I have had dogs my whole life, which includes caring for horses. My beau calls me the dog whisperer. In addition, the pet care I will provide will be outstanding with lots of playtime, potty breaks, and walks. Dogs gravitate towards me and they will be well kept, fed, and any instructions from the owner will be followed with due diligence. Due to my flexible schedule, I have Monday-Friday availability for boarding (including on the weekends), dropping in, and walking. Thereby, once you book with me your furry friend will be the number one priority. My building is safe and secure, with an elevator and grass area in the back for plenty of potty breaks. Further, the area has plenty of parks, and the neighborhood is pet friendly.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of them — my mom showed Collies competitively and still rescues to this day. It’s just how I was raised. As an adult I’ve spent the last 10 years fostering — taking in puppies two or three at a time, and occasionally single dogs recovering from injuries or medical conditions requiring recovery care and medication management. That experience taught me how to read dogs, stay calm under pressure, and give every animal exactly what they need — not a one-size-fits-all approach. A stay at my place feels like a home away from home. Your dog will follow me around the house, get plenty of cuddles and indoor playtime, enrichment toys, and two walks a day through our Studio City neighborhood. We have a fenced yard for in-and-out access throughout the day, and for more adventurous pups I’m happy to hit Fryman Canyon or Griffith Park. My own dog is a six year old rescue who’s current on all vaccines. He’s selective with other dogs, which honestly makes me even more thoughtful about introductions — I know how to read body language, introduce dogs properly, and keep them separated when needed. I can also crate or accommodate whatever sleeping arrangement works best for your dog, keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Pet care is built into our daily routine, not squeezed around it! My Studio City home is calm and quiet with a fenced yard and easy access to outdoor space. Having fostering experience with medical and recovery dogs, I’m comfortable managing special routines, medication schedules, and proper dog introductions — and I’ll keep you informed every step of the way. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. I keep groups small and intentional — up to 2 dogs at a time, either one family of two or two separate dogs, based on age, size, and temperament fit. This lets me give each dog real one-on-one attention.

About: As someone who grew up with large dogs (German Shepherds and a rescue German Shepherd/Border Collie mix), I spent my formative years learning how to play with and take care of our dogs in all stages of their life. Whether you have a energetic, young pup, a wise, older pup, or anything in between, you can trust that I will take care of them with patience and respect. I love all dogs, regardless of size or breed, and am willing to try working with dogs who may take a little extra time warming up to new people or maybe are a little "quirky". I'm a little quirky, too, so it might just work out. I also love cats and have over two decades experience caring for them. About: I have a dog named Nacho. He is a 13 year old chihuahua mix (my old man). He loves his walks and we never skip. We walk twice a day, I'll adjust times depending on how hot it is outside. I have a spacious yard for friends with pets to come play. We'll occasionally go to the dog park in the mornings or afternoons to socialize with other dogs. I have dog sat for friends/family (all different breeds & sizes!). We have lived with several different pets at a time so Nacho has no issue with other pups. He will play with small/medium size dogs closer to his size but generally will leave them alone. I have plenty of dog toys stocked up and snacks/treats (if you're ok with them). I love all animals and am very excited to meet yours! I am on my summer break from teaching at an elementary school which means plenty of free time to give your pet all the attention! While I understand all basic care instructions, I value if there are any special requests or concerns. Will definitely do my best to make sure your pet is in the safest and best care possible.

When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”
