“We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne! She took amazing care of our two little ones, Leo and Luna, and treated them like her own. She was attentive, loving, reliable, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear she truly cares about animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and happy. We came home to two very happy pets! I would absolutely trust Yvonne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to watch their pets.”

“Elizabeth was great, very communicative and friendly. Orla liked her very much and the photos were adorable. Will definitely book again in the future.”

“Katherine did a great job with our two cats. She dropped in right at the time that we discussed (and even provided a little flexibility when we asked if she could come a bit earlier, which was above & beyond on her part). She was so easy to communicate with, and did great with feeding our kitties. She also did a “meet and greet” before our trip, so we could show her around first. We really appreciate her taking such good care of our boys, and being such a kind soul!!! Highly recommend Katherine :)”

“Catherine was great! Instructions were followed and we got multiple videos and photos of the cats during her visits. Our normally shy cats warmed up to Catherine almost immediately, which is a great sign.”

“Gabriela's catsitting for our cat Riddle was the definition of above and beyond. Our cat is one year old and very energetic. When this meant that she toppled the auto-feeding machine that we had set up for the mornings (multiple times), Gabriela went out of her way to come to our apartment outside of her scheduled check-ins (multiple times) to make sure Riddle still got fed and to fix the machine (ultimately improvising a clever solution to support it involving a scarf and a bookshelf). Needless to say, we will be getting a new auto-feeder but keeping the same catsitter in the future if we can, haha. Gabriela was attentive and helpful and Riddle was head over hills for her, I would absolutely recommend her to look after your pet!”

“Adam was awesome! We came back to very happy dogs and Adam sent us plenty of pictures to let us know how happy our dogs were. We have large, high energy dogs so this was no easy task! Adam definitely went above and beyond what was expected!!”

“Natalie goes above and beyond every time she cares for our guinea pigs. We recently lost one last month, unfortunately, and when we booked Natalie a week ago she shared her heartfelt condolences to our family and even surprised us with flowers and a beautiful card. Booking Natalie is exactly what you're hoping for: an expert at what she does, but an even better person.”
About: Having taken care of 4 dogs at home, as well as a ferret, I can easily handle more than just one pet at a time. Especially loving to walk and run myself, I am excited to have the possibility to have a buddy to join me. I am currently working from home so I am free all week and able to step away whenever necessary. If that be a bathroom break, longer walk or simply just to play. I will make sure that I am offering support for being there and playing with the dog. Making sure that they are eating and getting to go outside to play as well as use the bathroom. My main focus is to make it feel as though I am the owner and they can full relax knowing their regular day to day life can be continued.
About: Hey there! My name is Shayla, and I’ve been caring for pets professionally for over a decade, including working closely with celebrity clients and their beloved animals — many of whom required special attention, medical care, patience, and individualized routines. I understand how important it is to trust someone not only with your pets, but with the comfort and safety of your home as well. I provide loving, reliable pet care with a calm and attentive approach, and I’m happy to accommodate unique schedules, routines, medications, and special requests. In addition to pet sitting, I also offer dog walking, overnight care, house sitting, and companionship visits. ✨ What sets me apart: I create a safe, low-stress, loving environment where pets can feel comfortable, secure, and cared for like family. My experience ranges from energetic puppies to senior pets needing gentle patience and support. 🐾 Special experience with: ✔︎ Senior pets & puppies ✔︎ Special-needs and disabled pets ✔︎ Administering medicine ✔︎ Anxiety-prone pets & separation anxiety ✔︎ Maintaining routines for comfort and stability ✔︎ Providing attentive, one-on-one care I know every pet has their own personality and needs, and I genuinely love taking the time to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I also really love photography and sending you videos/photos throughout the day! My goal is always to care for your pets as if they were my own — with patience, warmth, responsibility, and plenty of snuggles along the way. I'm very flexible with hours, and I will always be very communicative about my schedule so you are kept informed. I spend every day taking care of animals, and am always flexible with client needs! I've been entrusted with many high-profile clients and am always respectful of others' homes, pets, and belongings. I treat every home and animal as if it were my own, with the utmost care and love! I always keep a tidy home, so have no problem with doing light clean up duties around your home if needed.
“Naomi was great! She sent pictures and updates for my cat Sal during her drop in visits. She followed instructions and was easy to coordinate with. I’d definitely recommend her!”

About: I have a dog named Nacho. He is a 13 year old chihuahua mix (my old man). He loves his walks and we never skip. We walk twice a day, I'll adjust times depending on how hot it is outside. I have a spacious yard for friends with pets to come play. We'll occasionally go to the dog park in the mornings or afternoons to socialize with other dogs. I have dog sat for friends/family (all different breeds & sizes!). We have lived with several different pets at a time so Nacho has no issue with other pups. He will play with small/medium size dogs closer to his size but generally will leave them alone. I have plenty of dog toys stocked up and snacks/treats (if you're ok with them). I love all animals and am very excited to meet yours! I am on my summer break from teaching at an elementary school which means plenty of free time to give your pet all the attention! While I understand all basic care instructions, I value if there are any special requests or concerns. Will definitely do my best to make sure your pet is in the safest and best care possible.
“Genesis was amazing! She came to save the day on last minute plans. She’s incredibly responsive, flexible and helpful! I came home to a happy well taken care of fur baby and home. She’s very trusting and I would hire her again!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a house full of them — my mom showed Collies competitively and still rescues to this day. It’s just how I was raised. As an adult I’ve spent the last 10 years fostering — taking in puppies two or three at a time, and occasionally single dogs recovering from injuries or medical conditions requiring recovery care and medication management. That experience taught me how to read dogs, stay calm under pressure, and give every animal exactly what they need — not a one-size-fits-all approach. A stay at my place feels like a home away from home. Your dog will follow me around the house, get plenty of cuddles and indoor playtime, enrichment toys, and two walks a day through our Studio City neighborhood. We have a fenced yard for in-and-out access throughout the day, and for more adventurous pups I’m happy to hit Fryman Canyon or Griffith Park. My own dog is a six year old rescue who’s current on all vaccines. He’s selective with other dogs, which honestly makes me even more thoughtful about introductions — I know how to read body language, introduce dogs properly, and keep them separated when needed. I can also crate or accommodate whatever sleeping arrangement works best for your dog, keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes. Special experience with: ✔️ Puppies & young dogs ✔️ Anxious or reactive dogs ✔️ Medical needs & medication administration ✔️ Post-injury recovery care What every stay includes: 🐾. Fresh water always available 🐾 Healthy treats 🐾 Respect for your dog’s routine so they have something familiar to count on 🐾 Regular photo and video updates I require a meet & greet before all bookings — in person or via video — to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. Your dog deserves that. I work from home and I’m around most of the time, so your dog gets real attention throughout the day — not just a quick check-in between other commitments. I also have two daughters, 17 and 20, who grew up with dogs, helped with our fosters, and are just as enthusiastic about caring for your pup as I am. Pet care is built into our daily routine, not squeezed around it! My Studio City home is calm and quiet with a fenced yard and easy access to outdoor space. Having fostering experience with medical and recovery dogs, I’m comfortable managing special routines, medication schedules, and proper dog introductions — and I’ll keep you informed every step of the way. All dogs must be current on vaccinations.
About: Hi everyone! I am a life-long animal lover and am very excited at the opportunity to help care for your fur-kids! I have plenty of experience with walking, house sitting, and drop-ins. I work with seniors and puppies, aggressive and meek, dogs who pull on the leash and dogs who tire out before they can even pull! Your furry friends are in the most capable of hands with me! I work remotely from home and can also work from anywhere. That said, scheduling is never a problem for me. I have very open availability and am always ready for my next appointment! While caring for pet's in their own home, I like to have very detailed chats with the pet parents to find out all aspects of their pets day-to-day (favorite toys. things to avoid, their favorite spots to hang out, etc) and will periodically check in just to give updates, send photos, etc. I want the pet parents to be as comfortable with me as the pets are!
About: I grew up raising animals (big and small) in Texas and when I moved to LA for work, I started to take care of animals for friends and colleagues. If I can give a pet owner peace of mind their fur baby will be taken care of, plus have the joy and being with that animal, that’s a win-win I work from home as a freelance creative and have plenty of time and energy to care for animals. I love them so much, it really doesn’t feel like a job. It’s wonderful to care for them and help pet owners have peace of mind their fur babies are in good hands Every pet reacts differently to new people, and every home has their own routines and preferences. I’ve always found if you show respect to an animal and what they’re used to, you’ll bond with them and make them feel safe. I’m very used to every client having different needs, there’s no “one size fits all” approach. I live in the first floor of an apartment with a community yard and I have a patio with grass for quick potty breaks. I enjoy Long walks in my Valley Village neighborhood which is very safe, and I love walking dogs multiple times a day if needed
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, when I was 14 I started taking care of litters of rescue puppies, and have been known as a dog whisperer ever since! I’m home from college for the summer and I’m available most days during the day. I love walking outside and always love to be around animals. I always make sure any animal trusts me when I first meet them. Establishing comfortably and trust with an animal is super important to me.
About: I have my own dogs that I love very much and I will love your dogs the same. I also have helped take care of my friend’s dogs in the past so I have years of experience taking care of dogs. I also have open availability to take care of dogs. I can also support very active dogs which not a lot of people can do. I am currently available for full time pet care. I am mainly focusing on dog sitting at owner’s home or strictly just dog walking for any hours needed. I will dog sit at owner’s home for now. My current living situation will not allow for more dogs. I will gladly spend a few hours at owner’s home if that is needed.

About: I have had cats and dogs and mice and fish my whole life, and have been many people's go-to consultant for care and advice, and for taking care of their pets when they're out of town. I am one of those people that folks say have "a way with animals". Always have, even when I was a toddler. I can administer medications and injections, help with puppy training, and bring your shy pet out of his or her shell. I rescued my own kitties when they were only a week old and syringe and bottle-fed them and reared them up to be sturdy upright feline citizens of the world. I'm good with the "difficult" cases, and a gentle loving companion to the seniors. I do this because I adore and feel a bond with all animals and creatures of all kinds. :) I am available for morning and mid-day walks and drop-ins, and some evening walks depending on the day, and evening drop-ins most days of the week. I'll dote on your pets as if they are my own, and am happy to follow their routines and rituals and also bring a little novelty and fun to their day.
Valley Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Joanne. Just a week before our vacation, one of our cats became sick and needed oral antibiotics, which added a lot of stress to our travel plans. Joanne was absolutely wonderful with both of our cats and administered the medication like a pro. It was clear from the start that she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and comfortable with cats. Throughout our trip, Joanne was extremely communicative and sent plenty of updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Knowing our cats were receiving such attentive, loving care made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our vacation. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats and are so grateful for everything Joanne did. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and truly exceptional cat sitter.
Mia was excellent with my cats. It was my first time hiring her while I was away for travel. She made sure to lmk how my cats were doing and made sure they were happy. She sent me amazing photos while I was away! She followed all my directions and my cats liked her a lot! Would totally book with her again!

Jen was great! This was our families first time using Rover, so while we were a little nervous, Jen was just fantastic. She got our slightly complicated entry instructions and took care of our dogs like a pro. Really sweet and we are just super happy! Thanks Jen!
