“When I went to pick up my pet JJ, he was very happy to see me — but at the same time, he was also very comfortable and friendly with Sam. That alone says a lot about how well Sam cared for him. My dog isn’t easy to handle and has trust issues, but Sam was patient and managed to work through those challenges. He took excellent care of my dog for three weeks and sent me daily videos, which gave me great peace of mind. My dog always looked happy, healthy, and well cared for. I’m very grateful and would absolutely recommend Sam to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.”

It was my first time leaving him with someone, and my first time being away from him for more than a day or two so I was pretty anxious and nervous about it . I knew Celeste and Rocky really enjoyed their stay because Mandie sent me videos of them wrestling in the morning, the way they always do at home. Celeste has allergies and Mandie knew just what to do because her Shit-Zu also has allergies. Mandi gave me a bag of special hypo-allergenic dog food to try at home to see if it will help Celeste as much as it helped her dog! Now that is going above and beyond what most sitters would do! Communication was prompt as was drop off and pick up.”

She told me about the dog rescue organization she created so she definitely will give your pup the care and attention they need. She also took my dog on pack walks and long hikes around Runyon Canyon! She has so much space on her fenced off property and the sweetest dogs of her own that all played well with my pup and helped keep him busy! I genuinely believe he had a better time than I did while I was away. He came home cuddly and so tired so I know he had a blast! “We have only left our dog with anyone else once, nearly a year after adopting him. It was a disaster because of his severe separation anxiety. When we met Sandi and her husband Jeff the first time, our dog was very relaxed and more friendly and affectionate than he ever is with new people. He seemed very comfortable in their home and their yard and we were relieved to have found a place that we felt comfortable trying again. During the 2 days and nights we were away, we were certain he would need to be given CBD or tranquilizers to keep him calm, but he didn't need them! He missed us but did not exhibit the behavior he had before and Sandi and Jeff said that he was happy at his chosen place in the window or on his bed in front of the fireplace, and responded to their affection. I can't say how relieved we are to have found a solution for our occasional needs to visit places where he can't come with us. Sandi made us feel confident that she could handle his anxiety, and she clearly made him feel more at ease and relaxed. I loved the photos she sent, updating us several times over the couple of days we were gone, and we will definitely call again the next time we leave town. What a relief!”
