About: Hi! I'm Kelly. I've had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, ever since my family adopted our first dog when I was 5 years old. Over the years, I've shared my life with all kinds of dogs, from my tiny Miniature Yorkie to my big 100-pound Shepherd mix. I've fostered dogs, dog-sat for friends and family, and spent countless hours learning about positive reinforcement training through private lessons and hands-on experience. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog behind when you travel because I've been there myself. Whenever I boarded my own dogs, all I wanted was to know they were safe, happy, loved, and getting plenty of attention. That's exactly the kind of experience I hope to give both you and your pup. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard where dogs can run, play, explore, or simply relax in the sunshine. I even built a dedicated potty area for my own dogs, which many visiting pups quickly figure out. My dogs passed away a few years ago, and I genuinely miss having dogs around the house. I work from home as a freelance designer, so I'm home throughout the day and enjoy having a furry coworker by my side. Whether your dog loves walks, fetch, belly rubs, naps on the couch, or simply being near people, they'll get plenty of attention and companionship while they're here. I also have an almost 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs her entire life. She's gentle, respectful, and absolutely adores them. One of her favorite things to do is sit beside them and read stories. Because our home includes a young child, I can only host dogs that are comfortable around children, and all interactions are always supervised by me. My goal is simple: to make your dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I'm currently freelancing as a designer, so I spend most of my day at home. After I drop my daughter off at school each morning, I'm back home for the day, which means your pup won't be sitting around waiting for someone to come home from work. Whether we're hanging out in the yard, going for a walk, playing fetch, or just keeping each other company while I work, I genuinely love having dogs around and spending time with them. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is fully fenced with a large front yard and backyard, and all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs are never left outside unattended and will always have access to a clean, comfortable indoor space to relax and feel at home. Before each stay, I like to learn about your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and any special needs so I can provide care that's as close to home as possible. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, reinforcing training, or making time for extra walks and play, I'm happy to accommodate. As a lifelong dog owner with experience fostering, dog sitting, and positive reinforcement training, I understand that every dog is different. My goal is to create a calm, safe, loving environment where your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. *Since our home includes a 6-year-old, I can only accommodate dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.
