About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.

Everyday the photos sent showed my dog Bella having the time of her life as she became acquainted with their 3 fur babies living with them. Each day the photos showed a clear message that Bella, Cheese, Crackers, & Pickles were becoming more than just acquainted, but the best of friends. It was clear that she was treated as part of the family by how comfortable she became snuggling with the other dogs & always having a smile on her face. The multiple walks they took everyday let me know that Bella's high-energy & adventurous attitude was taken into consideration greatly, which, for other rovers, I cannot say the same. They went above & beyond; Upon my arrival back to pick her up, she seemed like she wanted to stay a few more days (^^,). About: I always love taking care of dogs and i've been around them my whole life. Over the last 4 years, I’ve regularly dogsat for my aunt whenever she would go out of town, which gives me consistent experience with caring for a dog and maintaining routines. I'm an at-home college student, so I'm home typically all the time. My classes and work are online so l'll be able to give your pet consistent attention and they won't lett alone for long periods! Safety is my priority. I keep my space tidy, pet-friendly, and free of anything they could get into. I will follow your instructions for feeding, walks, or any other requests.

Pamela was amazing!! Luke is used to having a back yard to wander around in so being at Pamela’s was like home to him! He came back happy and I’m sure he had a blast playing with the other doggos that were also staying. Pamela looked after him like he was her own so I am very grateful for the love and attention he was given as he can get separation anxiety the older he gets (he’s 11 years old now!). Will definitely be sending my little guy back if we need to go away again!
Kristina was absolutely wonderful with our 10-year-old dog, Cookie, while we were away on a family trip! Cookie is a very picky eater and easily scared in new environments, so we are always anxious about leaving him with a sitter. However, Kristina went above and beyond to encourage him to eat and helped him feel safe and comfortable adjusting to the new surroundings. She also provided daily updates, which completely gave us peace of mind. We highly recommend Kristina and will definitely be booking with her again next time!

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Nate. From the moment I met him, I could tell he was incredibly sweet, gentle, and genuinely cared about Juicy. There is such a big difference between someone who is just “watching another dog” and someone who truly loves and cares for your pet like they are their own - and Nate is absolutely the latter. Juicy is my whole world, so leaving him is really hard for me. He is sensitive, and I wanted to make sure he was with someone who would not only take good care of him, but also make him feel safe, loved, and comfortable while I was away. Nate did exactly that. He sent me pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind, and I could tell he was genuinely excited to spend time with Juicy. When I got home, Juicy was obviously excited to see me, but he also seemed happy, calm, and like he had truly been well cared for. That meant everything to me. I really felt like Nate cared for Juicy like he was his own dog, and that gave me such a sense of relief while I was gone. I feel so grateful to have found Nate. He has honestly changed our lives because I now feel like I can travel or do things when I need to and know that Juicy is in the best hands. I have already dubbed him “Juicy’s uncle” and saved him in my phone that way. There are so many glowing reviews about Nate on Rover, and now I completely understand why. He is incredible at what he does, and it is so refreshing to find someone who truly cares about the animals he watches. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for someone loving, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in their pet’s happiness and well-being.
