About: I'm a dog person and lover through and through who has looked after dogs of all sizes since I was a kid. Family, friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed, play and watch their pets for years. Taking care of pets is my number one focus and how I enjoy spending my time. I am available for walking, drop in visits and doggy day care Monday to Saturday at all times of the day. Your pet will have my undivided attention and I will follow your care instructions exactly as you have laid out. Expect lots of play, pets and frequent updates. I can handle dogs of any size or behavior on walks without being overpowered or overwhelmed.
About: I love doggies and am extremely dedicated to making sure they are in a safe and loving environment. I’ve been taking my puppy for training classes and love to see him learn and grow. I also have a lot of patience and approach caring for my pup with positive reinforcement and tons of love. I work from home 3 days a week so I have flexibility in my schedule to dog sit during the work day. I schedule morning and afternoon walks as well as play time. I personally take my pup out for 3-4 walks a day ranging from (15-30 ) minutes. We have access to an open space right in our back yard and a big lawn for pups to sniff around in. We do not have a fenced yard so I leash my puppy. I also have a crate at home but to be completely honestly I do not mind cuddling with my pups and let them take naps on our couch or bean bag. Since I do have a puppy he gets along best with other doggies who like to play.

About: I've been my neighborhood dog and pet sitter for a decade. I've watched dogs of all sizes, from helping train puppies to walking 100lbs dogs. I work part time as a nanny, and am in grad school full time. I plan on providing care for pets in between my job and school. I will provide a loving and caring environment for your pup. Give them an exercise or belly rubs they want & any training if needed or necessary.
About: Animal lover and protecter all my life. Nothing I wouldn't do to protect and care for anyones pet/animal that I wouldn't do for my own. I have trained dogs since I was a kid, mostly my own family pets growing up. I have helped many other fiends with their own "people problems" when it comes to understand how dogs and cats work, and obtain a great relationship between the Pet and Owner. I have also just enrolled at SAMC to study Animal Behavioral Science and training, hopefully moving toward a Veterinary Tech BA. I work from home. We have a lovely home with a large fenced in backyard in a great neighborhood in West Adams. I currently am at school for Animal Behavioral Science (mostly from home). There is always someone at home here as my partner works from home as well. I have a large fenced in yard for the doggos to play in, but also live near to parks and great overall neighborhoods to take walks. I'm not a fan of dog parks that take their pets off leash. I will generally skip it if there are free roaming dogs. Too many variables, and I'd hate for any animal to get or cause any hurt. I am available for Hosting, Walks, or sit-ins.
“This was the 2nd walk for Liz and Sophie. LIz is amazing with my reactive poodle. They are friends already and we are working up to an overnight stay. I’m so happy Liz is willing to work with Sophie.”

About: I love pets my entire life. I got my first dog when I was eight years old and it was my dream. My approach is that all pets don’t work with the same formula. Just like children they need a tailored experience from walking to food to attention. I currently work part-time and go to school. Mondays and Wednesdays I’m in college except after 6:30. The other weekdays I’m working as a kid soccer coach my hours. There are also part-time so I have more availability in the morning in the midday and in the afternoon. I 100% prefer to take care of your fur babies at your home, but if there are extenuating circumstances, we can discuss if the possibility of me housing them is open
About: After 23 years of surrounding myself with pets and dogs, I am currently eager to deliver the same love and affection to yours! A home with 2 remote employees, so you can expect full attention for your loved one!! Our schedule will surround your dog! With the flexibility of my roommate and I having work from home occupations- we are excited to have more company to provide ourselves during the week and look forward to the routine walks that we can take to step away from our duties. It’s a win-win situation You can expect us to follow the exact example you set for your dog- and exceed those expectation’s in our services. We do ask that you supply us with the dogs food and possibly their bed if pet is trained to stay off furniture.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, including many many guests, and I treat every animal in my house like family. I know that every guest needs something different and I put real effort into making sure they are comfortable and HAPPY. I do not believe in negative reinforcement, and I focus on building trust through patience. I know that settling into a new home can be overwhelming for some pups. To make this easy, my house is set up to cater to as many different needs as possible. I have a dedicated room (my gym) for dogs that need to be alone and watch Bluey on the TV in there, but I prefer to make my guests comfortable to lounge on the many dog beds I have scattered around the house. Also, my home features solid flooring, so I have 0 issue with catering to nerves while your fur baby is settling in. I do my best to make them comfortable while they are in a temporary new pack. I also have crates available if your dog finds comfort in that. Their choice. But otherwise, they have the run of the place just like any loved family animal should. I have a secure fenced yard and I never leave my guests outside even for a short time, and then they are back inside with me. I also play, however much your fur baby wants to. Fetch, soccer, whatever makes them happy. This is the best part of this job. My goal is to provide a calm, affectionate environment where your dog feels safe, understood, and truly at home while you’re away. I work as a consultant with a flexible schedule, which means I am home and available for my guests throughout the day. My routine is built around the dogs—we do morning yard time, afternoon play sessions (soccer and fetch are favorites), and plenty of lounging in between. Because I’m based at home, I can provide the consistent supervision and companionship that helps dogs feel secure when they are in a new space without their humans. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully secured, fenced yard for outdoor play, but I never leave guests unattended outside; we go out together and come back in together. Inside, my home is designed for dogs, featuring solid flooring for easy cleanup and a dedicated room with Bluey on TV for pups who need a break. Whether your dog prefers to snuggle on one of the many beds scattered around or on the couch or in an open crate, I happily accommodate their needs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I have experience with both puppies and adult dogs as well as small and large breed dogs. I’m currently retired and working part time, therefore I will have lots of time to play with and take care of your loving fur baby. I have a fenced in secure yard to keep your fur baby safe. I have two small dogs of my own that are very sweet. If necessary I will crate your dog.
About: My name's Kat and I absolutely love dogs! I've been taking care of them for over 20 years. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters as a dog walker so am extremely comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My current fur babies are a 16 year old Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie) named Sophie and a 6 year old poodle-bichon mix named Wally. We are a package deal. :) We live in a small house with beautiful fenced-in backyard in mid-city. Together, Sophie, Wally and I will make sure your pup has an amazing time during their stay! We look forward to meeting you! I work normal hours running a small business from home so am able to give lots of attention to your pup! We typically take 2 shorter walks a day, generally around 15-20 minutes each. I also take a longer walk (about an hour) around lunch time and will bring along any higher-energy dogs I’m watching who need more exercise. Playtime happens whenever your dog wants! Wally loves playing with his toys and other dogs, so they will have a playmate if they come over. The house is on the corner lot and has a fenced-in backyard that I let the pups out in every couple hours. I will always greet you first with Sophie and Wally outside to ensure the pups will be just fine, but Sophie and Wally are sweet and used to having friends around so that hasn’t been an issue in the past. Inside we have hardwood floors. The space is a decent size with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area, so large enough to separate the dogs if needed. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. The pups have full roam of the house. They are both super chill. Sophie mainly cuddles up in her bed under my desk as I work or chooses to hide and sleep under my bed. Wally hangs out in the AC in the living room and watches out the front window - he’s the “neighborhood watch.”

About: My partner and I are life-long dog-owners and dog-lovers, we hope to open up our home to local pets! We currently have our own dog, Ruby (12 years old), who loves hanging around other dogs and plays very well with them. We already care for our pet pretty much 24 hours a day, so it is easy for us to add an extra set of paws to our daily routine. Shenelle currently works from home every day and I work from home 4 days a week, so we're able to make sure to offer around the clock care to the pets in our home. Rest assured that your dog will have our attention, as we both work from home and have a puppy monitor set up in our home. We have enough toys for our pets to share, and a small semi-fenced backyard. There is one opening that is not fenced, and if you would prefer we do not let your dog outside, we are happy to honor your wishes.

About: I’ve had pets at home all my life. From a giant Schnauzer when I was a kid, to 3 cats now in Culver City. I’ve taken care of my friends and neighbors’ pets when they need. I just recently retired, so I have lots of free time. I am available most days, except Sunday mornings as I do some volunteer work in a food pantry. I will come and spend time with your friend. I will give them the attention and love they crave when you are gone. Walks and playtime are always part of the visit.
About: All around animal lover with years of experience! I have built up skills that include group dog facility procedures, medication administration, training and dog behavior. I am currently only accepting bookings for walks, drop in visits and housesitting. Thank you for your consideration, can't wait to meet your fur family! :) I work from home, but also attend school so please be aware that I have to work around my class schedule (7AM-11AM) until June 8th, 2026. I am completely available on weekends and holidays. Please note that the holiday rate is a little higher than the regular rate. I would care for them as if they were my own, following any routines put in place by the owners. When in a clients home, I will leave everything how it was when I entered. I work from home and I am always available around my current school schedule (I have class 7AM-11AM until June 8th, 2026). After that date I will be available 24/7 for the summer. When in a client’s home, I will make sure to put your dog on a leash before any walks, potty breaks, etc. Safety is really important to me so I avoid other dogs and busy streets when on a walk as well. I never just leave doors open and I am careful when entering and exiting to make sure your fur baby stays safe inside unless leashed or in a fenced backyard.
“Yana is amazing! She goes out of her way and you can tell she really cares for all animals. Super punctual, always communicates and is just a sweet person all around. I’m a repeat customer!”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs with the love and compassion unmatched by others. I’ve also been taken care of dogs of every age, size, and breed. Lead with love and not fear. I’m currently working from home and control my own schedule. I take zoom calls but never have to be on for more than an hour at a time. I have a fenced yard. A three floor home with plenty of space for all types of dogs. No other pets on my property so your pet will have my full attention.

“Sarah was fantastic to work with. She showered Frankie with love and affection, was always on time and communicative, and left lovely notes. I definitely recommend her to anyone who needs someone for their pup!”

West Adams dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lisa is amazing! She took care of our two Golden Retrievers while we were away and we couldn’t be happier with her level of professionalism, kindness, commitment, and communication. If your looking for someone trustworthy who is going to take care of your precious furry ones just as you would, look no further.

We had a great experience! Our dog can be pretty nervous around new people, but Allison was patient and made him feel comfortable from the start. We really appreciated how flexible she was with our schedule and accommodating of our requests. It gives us peace of mind knowing we can leave our dog with Allison and he’ll be well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Charles took the extra steps and care to get on my dog Boogie’s good side, who can be reactive and apprehensive of new humans. He’s clearly a responsible pet- and home-owner himself and applied such meticulous attention to detail going into and throughout our booking. His communication and professionalism was top-tier, I’d book him again without hesitation!

Audrey did an amazing job walking my dog! I accidentally had the wrong address on file, but she messaged me right away and went to my current address without any hesitation. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and caring throughout the whole experience. I really appreciated how understanding and flexible she was. Highly recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dog walker!

Blueberry is impossible to tire, but after her walk with Julia she was knocked out for hours! Julia responded very promptly, was a great communicator, followed instructions clearly, and even got some great pics. As a person who cares about her dog, it means a lot to know that she’s in good hands. Thank you Julia! Will be booking again.
