I follow feeding, walking, and medication schedules closely and pay attention to changes in behavior or mood. As an interior designer, I’m used to working in clients’ homes and treat every space with care. I’ll keep your home tidy, take care of mail, plants, and trash days, and send updates and photos while you’re away. I run my own businesses, so my schedule is flexible and I can plan my days around your pets. During house sits, I stay overnight, keep to your pets’ usual feeding and walking times, and arrange my work so they’re never left alone longer than they’re used to. I follow your house rules and your pets’ routines as closely as possible so they feel settled while you’re away. I keep doors, gates, and windows secure, walk dogs on leash, and check the yard before letting pets out. Before each sit, I’ll ask for your vet’s contact information, any medical or behavior notes, and your preferences for emergencies, so I’m prepared if anything comes up.

About: I’m new to Rover, but have 6 years experience with dogs of different sizes, ages and personalities, and will treat your dog like one of my own. I’m comfortable handling puppy care and feeding schedules/medication instructions. I make sure they get adequate walks and exercise, and will send you cute photos of them if requested. I have long term experience caring for other people’s pets and maintaining the home when necessary. I just went back to school after nannying for 9 years, and my schedule allows for afternoons off Mon-Thurs, as well as Saturdays and Sundays. In those afternoon hours I want a flexible job that gets me outside and moving with furry companion. Combined with my love of dogs and the outdoors, I figured it would be a good job to have to be able to help out my four-legged friends. I will make sure pets get to go potty as soon as I arrive- whether that’s letting them out in a yard or taking them outside on a leash. I will check their water and food (if feeding is needed), as well as checking for any signs of accidents that may need cleaning. Pets will get a walk soon after I arrive, length depending on each dogs need. I’ll provide plenty of belly rubs and snuggles, as well as playing with toys if they so choose.

About: I've been taking care of my own pets and other people's pets since I was in middle school. In college I volunteered at the local humane society to take pups for outings and walks so they could get out of the shelter for a bit and spent lots of time in the cat rooms giving pets and playing with the cats. I have had two senior dogs so caring for dogs or cats who have medication routines or special needs is no problem for me. And while I am not a dog trainer or a professional I am currently working with my dog, Banshee, on his reactivity and being in public spaces. Just know that while your fur babies are in my care I'll love on them and treat them like they were my own! I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can make most arrangements work! I can also make odd-time arrangements work if that's something you need. While I cannot currently host additional pets in my home, I think taking care of your pet in their "comfort zone" is often the best option. You can trust that I'll take my shoes off inside and be the perfect guest while taking care of your beloved pets.

About: Because I'm a freelancer, I am able to spend plenty of time taking care of your pup! I grew up with a dog and love spending time with them. I'm a photographer so most days I'm just at home editing. I'm also a hip hop dancer and train for that. But our training is just at nighttime. I live in a good neighborhood with safe roads to walk on. Our home has lots of space as well, giving your pup plenty of space to roam!

About: I had dogs and cats my whole life and have always been a huge pet lover! I have experience with taking care of puppies/kittens as well as older pets. I can provide full and undivided attention to your pet and will make sure they are comfortable, entertained, well fed and cleaned, and most importantly, loved! I am currently working part-time with very flexible hours, meaning that I can prioritize the needs of your pet! I am able to put in a lot of time into pet care. My own apartment is a small space so there will definitely be plenty of walks put into the pet-care schedule. In terms of restrictions, I am absolutely OK with pets on furniture so they will be very comfortable. In the client’s home, I will respect and follow all instructions given to me as well as keep things tidy/clean.

About: I have had multiple pets from a very young age, and learning how to care for pets was a big part of my life. I specialize in high-energy breeds, but enjoy spending time with any type of animal. I work a remote job, so the entirety of my day can be focused on animals! I’m very big on consistency and reliability, so bathroom breaks and ample walking time are never things that bother me. I’d like to think the pets I’ve boarded have had a luxury experience. I am super thorough and attentive, and love spending time with pets of all shapes and sizes.
