They sprang into action and communicated with me immediately, keeping me posted on the emergency clinic where they were taking her (the accident happened very early in the morning). I met them at the clinic and decided to have Ellie treated at her usual vet. Jibin generously offered to ride in the back with Ellie, keeping her calm and comfortable. Throughout the rest of the day, Chan Woo and Jibin checked in to ask how Ellie was doing. I was touched by their genuine, heartfelt concern. “We needed day care for a couple of days during a trip from the Bay Area to Southern California, and I’m so happy I found Amorn and Adam to look after our senior toy poodle, Jubilee. During her stay, they sent lots of photos on her progress and interactions with other dogs, helping to give me peace of mind that all was fine. They demonstrated such kindness and understanding towards our little one, who shakes nervously in unfamiliar environments. They adapted to her shy-ish ways, let her be and gave her a comfy blanket on which to sit or lie. As quickly as the second day when handing her to Adam, Jubilee didn’t even shake, she was actually quite calm, and that was amazing. I am 110% pleased with their services. About: I've spent my whole life caring for a wide range of dogs. From newborn puppies to older babies who need meds! I have experience with it all! I also have a dog that I trained so have basic training skills! In addition, I love all breeds (as long as they love my chill dog lol) I'm home everyday of the week so have ample time to care for your fur babies pets. I am able to be very flexible with their needs! I love animals more than people. They are welcome on all my furniture and even encouraged. About: Hello! I am Kelly & I’m a HUGE animal lover. I have a pup of my own, Sandy. She’s a loving & sweet Maltipoo. I’ve had her since she was only 1 month old & she’s turning 4yrs in late September. Ever since I’ve adopted her, she’s turned my life around in the best way possible. She has made me a dog mom & I wouldn’t want it any other way. She’s very well trained & behaved which is something I’m really proud of. She’s made so many other fur friends & they have play dates very often to help socialize & exercise. These fur friends are pups that I also pup sit whenever my neighbors are out of town, have to go into work, or an emergency suddenly comes up. One of my neighbors has 3 dogs in total & my other neighbors only have 1 dog. My neighbor with 3 dogs has 1 senior pup, 1 adult pup, and 1 2yrs old pup. The senior pup does take medication so whenever I pup sit, I ensure her medication is given to her with no problem. My other neighbors with the 1 pup on the other hand, have a very energetic pup so playtime & walks are crucial. I ensure to take him on long walks around our neighborhood & give him lots of playtime with Sandy - which always ends up in nap time. Looking after them truly brings so much joy to my life & I am very thankful for their parents (my neighbors) trust in me to pup sit their fur babies. I grew up with dogs from infancy, and my first dog was a German Shepherd named Pooch who joined our family when I was still a baby. We grew up together, and he remained my best friend until we were both 14, when he crossed the rainbow bridge. Dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since. At 12 years old, I started my own dog walking business and volunteered with local rescues before eventually founding my own nonprofit, Akira Animal Rescue, which focuses on medical dogs and puppies. Growing up, I also cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments — including a rescued street dog, a Pomeranian mix, and a Lhasa Apso. Having both large and small dogs throughout my life helped me understand different energy levels, personalities, and care needs from an early age. I also have extensive medical experience with dogs through both rescue work and personal experience. My senior dog Akira developed liver disease and seizures later in life, and I helped manage his care and medications until he peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Akira inspired my rescue work and deepened my understanding of anxious, reactive, and medically sensitive dogs. When I met him at 7 years old, he struggled with resource guarding and trust issues, but over time he transformed into a calm, loving dog who slept at our feet every night. In December 2023, we adopted two Siberian Husky littermates who are incredibly social, gentle, and loving with other dogs — especially smaller dogs. I also currently have two sweet foster dogs from my rescue who have been in my care long term. They are the only dogs from my rescue in my home — all others are with other fosters. I now provide full-time premium daycare and boarding from my private, 1 acre, gated home in Beverly Hills Post Office. I have another home in Hollywood Hills where I offer boarding at a lower cost, though dogs are not attended overnight there. I will bring boarding clients to this home during the day sometimes, with approval from the pet-parent. I previously operated exclusively through referrals and word-of-mouth and am now offering services through Rover. I’m extremely hands-on, attentive, and always present with the dogs in my care.
