“Lindsey may have thought that I was joking when I told her that our little menagerie was a zoo! It was a big job for one person, but Lindsey was willing to take on the responsibility and she cared for our family of critters and plants as if they were her own. She communicated with us as often as was needed and even responded timely to texts from a different time zone. Our cranky older dog, crazy chihuahuas, puppy, and cats were fed, medicated and cared for not only according to our directions but also with genuine affection. She observed the eating and sleeping patterns of both our dogs and cats and let us know if anything was out of the norm. Although Rover doesn’t have a section for reptile or amphibian care, (we did compensate Lindsey for this as well as caring for our plants outside of Rover) Lindsey had no problem taking care of our bearded dragon, mourning geckos and dart frog (even though it involved feeding live insects). Coming home from a week away can be a bit overwhelming but Lindsey looked after our pets and plants with care and responsibility. AND we came home to a yard free of doggie landmines, clean litter boxes, indoor and outdoor plants alive (in over 100 degree weather!), a tidy home just as we left it, and even the linens from the guest room halfway through the laundry cycle! When we need a pet/home sitter again, Lindsey will be first on our list.”

About: I’ve watched and taken care of dogs and cats since I was very little. From family to neighbors to friends, I’m the one they called! I’m not the type of person to just ignore your pet for money. I really love creating a welcoming relationship and allowing them to be comfortable at all costs, and of course have so much fun while their parents are gone. I know exactly what it takes to give them the love they deserve and need. Think of me as the cool cousin or uncle lol. Play dates, treats, walks, snuggles; all of the above! I’m your guy. Let alone, I’m extremely respectful and conscious about leaving the space cleaner than when I arrived, and following ALL of the rules set in place for my job. I prioritize professionalism and leaving my boss nothing short of happy as leaving their children can be stressful. Whether that’s constant check ins, pictures, or recaps, I can meet any and all expectations happily! :) Right now I am currently unemployed and giving my all to music. That said, I have built a mobile studio and really just work on records all day! That said, I am still attentive, at home, and will always invite my doggy or any other’s to come catch a vibe and listen! I have a fenced backyard and the sweetest golden doodle of all time to keep your pet additional loving company. Play time to movie nights, I do it all with my best friend and we aren’t stingy about adding company!

About: Since I was a child, I cared for many animals and pets on my family's farm, and in the last 15 years in LA, I've had my own pets and all my neighbors and friends come to me for pet care while they are out of town! I work as a part-time plant science consultant, I am a mom of a 10-year old human and an 11-year old doggy, I have a flexible schedule and love to be active, so pet care fits in nicely! I have a secure and fenced in back yard and many comfortable spaces for dogs all around the house. Cats are not a good fit in our home, unfortunately.
About: Hello! I am Kelly & I’m a HUGE animal lover. I have a pup of my own, Sandy. She’s a loving & sweet Maltipoo. I’ve had her since she was only 1 month old & she’s turning 4yrs in late September. Ever since I’ve adopted her, she’s turned my life around in the best way possible. She has made me a dog mom & I wouldn’t want it any other way. She’s very well trained & behaved which is something I’m really proud of. She’s made so many other fur friends & they have play dates very often to help socialize & exercise. These fur friends are pups that I also pup sit whenever my neighbors are out of town, have to go into work, or an emergency suddenly comes up. One of my neighbors has 3 dogs in total & my other neighbors only have 1 dog. My neighbor with 3 dogs has 1 senior pup, 1 adult pup, and 1 2yrs old pup. The senior pup does take medication so whenever I pup sit, I ensure her medication is given to her with no problem. My other neighbors with the 1 pup on the other hand, have a very energetic pup so playtime & walks are crucial. I ensure to take him on long walks around our neighborhood & give him lots of playtime with Sandy - which always ends up in nap time. Looking after them truly brings so much joy to my life & I am very thankful for their parents (my neighbors) trust in me to pup sit their fur babies. I hope I can also gain your trust to pup sit your fur baby. I promise you won’t regret it! 🥰🐾 I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule which is super convenient to fit in lots of dedication & playtime with your fur baby. I have a fenced front yard at my building complex (which is dog friendly) and most of my neighbors have dogs which are friendly and well behaved. Inside my home I have peed pads for any accidents that may occur & lots of space for comfort.

Prerana & Aubrey were absolutely amazing. They stayed with our dog for 9 days and always kept us up to date with pictures and how he has been throughout the day. The house was even clean and well kept when we got home. We will absolutely be booking with them again!
Leah was fantastic! Our regular sitter was away and we always fear leaving our precious dogs and cat with someone we’ve never worked with before. But Leah put us at ease with her kindness toward our animals and professionalism. We would love to have her sit again. Lauren is fantastic! She responded so quickly to a last minute request we had, came by the next day to visit the pets for a meet and greet, and then stayed with them the next night while we were out. She is very friendly, punctual, intuitive and easygoing. Our dog was very comfortable with her to say the least, and our cat who is normally quite shy even came out of hiding while she was there. We are grateful Lauren could come by and are looking forward to hopefully having her back soon!

Cassie took great care of our kitties during our travels. She sent daily updates with many photos and videos. One of our cats gets stressed with new people when we travel, but he warmed up to Cassie within a day! She took care of the plants and the house as well. We would be happy to have her watch our kitties again.
Andrea continues to be a reliable, consistent, communicative, awesome dog sitter. She takes lots of pictures, lets us know what’s going on, and we never worry when our dogs are with her. She’s smart and intuitive. One of our dogs is getting older and Andrea is able to adjust walks and modify exercise based on how our dog is feeling. She can give medicine and easily understands and follows our ever changing meal plans for our dogs based on their activity levels. She’s awesome. I was really nervous when we started using Rover but I’m so glad we found her on this app. She is our go-to dog sitter and we trust her with our beloved dogs more than we trust our friends and family!
Troy was honestly amazing and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. He was super communicative the entire time and kept me updated with lots of pics of my baby, which I loved. You can tell he really cares — he treated her like his own, gave her lots of cuddles, and made sure she was taken care of in every way. He also watered my plants, which I did not expect but really appreciated. There was a moment where she had a little accident, and he handled it so calmly and cleaned everything up right away without making it a big deal at all. He kept me in the loop, which I appreciated. He followed all of my instructions perfectly and was always available when I needed him. Just overall super reliable and easy to work with. Vincent was wonderful my dog!!! He kept me updated the whole time and let me know what was going on with him, monitoring his food intake and even his poops! I have a great dane that is very sensitive and this was the first time using Rover and I'm very happy!!
