“We just took our first family vacation since pre-pandemic, and it was a huge relief to leave our furbabies in Kim's loving care. She stayed overnight for a whole week with our pup and senior kitty. I was worried about our cat turning 19 while we were away because he was losing weight before our trip. When we returned, he had gained weight, and he looked healthier. Kim has a magic touch! She also cared for our guinea pigs, which are rather high maintenance, so I am very appreciative of her dedication to them. I'm so glad we found Kim so we have a trusted sitter for our next trip.”
About: (To start off, I am trying to raise money for a car and this is the way I’d like to do that!) I’ve lived in a household of dogs and cats my whole life simultaneously. I am currently not working and have lots of free time on my hands! My fur baby whom I take on walks (Killer) is highly reactive so I’m constantly aware of things that trigger him. I hope to be your companion’s companion! My schedule is very flexible and open! I am not working as of late, leaving me more time to care for your fur babies! The only time I have reserved is 10:30-11:30 on Thursdays. There are three cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon in my home. There’s always some sort of mayhem going on that needs to be meddled with. That being said, I understand how to address a situation if a companion has gotten somewhere that isn’t safe. Protect our fur babies at all costs! ♥️

About: I grew up with mostly dogs, but also ended up with three cats. I’ve pet sat for family and friends. But more recently have dog sat while my clients were on vacation. They were senior dogs who needed medication and some extra love and care. I’m currently an afternoon nanny 2pm-6pm on Week days. This will allow me to do early mornings and midday visits or walks. I am open to evening visits as well. My weekends are some what flexible, with enough advance notice I am free to visit or petsit if schedule permits. If I’m going to walk your dog or do a drop in on your kitty. I”ll make sure that I arrive promptly, take them for a walk or check on kitty, feed and give them attention (if they want it it) and provide update. I’ll make sure to be respectful of your space and privacy. When I sit for a family I can do drop ins or spend the night. I’ll walk, cuddle, keep your pet company, and feed them until I have to be at work in the afternoon. About: I’ve had the pleasure of caring for 2 dogs, Max & Layla that were unwanted and abandoned, both lived long and happy lives under my care, reaching ages 16 & 13. Sadly Max passed away in June of 2017 and Layla passed away in September of 2024 I currently work in the health and fitness industry, typically from 5:30am - 1:30pm. Therefore I am available most afternoons and early evenings 7 days a week I spent 20 years taking care of dogs with special needs, I have a lot of experience in keeping both people and pets in a safe and happy environment

About: My family had dogs (including very large breeds like Shepherds and Corso) even before I was born, and because of that I spent every second of my life around dogs and animals in general. After moving to LA I don't get enough free time to have my own pup so I try my best to work with dogs every day and help other people care for their pets. I have also completed American Red Cross course in Cat and Dog First Aid I work in commercial photo/video production, so it's really different from one gig to another. I'm also doing my apprenticeship in a dog training. Whenever I have a chance to spend my time working with animals, I take it. First time booking with Adam, and I truly can’t thank him enough. Three days before my husband and I were supposed to leave for a work trip, our usual pet sitter texted us saying she had food poisoning and could no longer help. I was honestly terrified. We have a 19-year-old Maltese named Bear who has been by my side since I was 18. Bear is in the final chapter of his life and requires a tremendous amount of specialized care. The thought of leaving him with someone we didn’t know was incredibly stressful. After exhausting every personal connection we had, we finally took a leap of faith and booked Adam through Rover. It was the best decision we could have made. Even with only three days’ notice, Adam went out of his way to make a meet-and-greet happen before we left. From the moment we met him, we immediately felt at ease. He brought professionalism, good vibes, and the attention to detail our animals needed. Adam met our two cats and, most importantly, Bear. We warned him that Bear is deaf, blind, wears diapers full time, and has recently started showing signs of Sundowning/dementia. At this stage of his life, keeping him comfortable and feeling safe is our absolute priority. Because of his needs, we always have someone stay in our home with him when we travel so as to keep him in a familiar environment and not make his confusion worse. I warned Adam there would be accidents, diaper changes, oral medication, and most likely having to wake up with him in the middle of the night if he had any restless spells. Kinda like having a newborn. None of it scared him. Instead, Adam listened, asked thoughtful questions, paid attention to every detail, and made us feel like Bear was in incredibly capable hands. I felt so at ease getting on the plane the next morning. While we were away, Adam kept us updated, communicated consistently, sent us headshot-quality pictures of everyone, and treated our animals with the same patience and care that we would have given them ourselves. Even our cat Ellie, who is scared of everyone new, started to feel comfortable coming out of hiding a few times to say hi! Bear's senior needs are no joke, and I am sure it presented it's challanges for Adam, but he never let us feel that. Every update he sent was full of nothing but positivity, which allowed me to focus on my work trip instead of stressing about what was going on at home. Leaving the needs of my senior pup in a stranger's hands was really hard for me to do. I am so grateful to have found Adam and the excellent care he provides. I walked into our house after 4 days of being away to a clean home, freshly washed sheets, 2 happy cats, and little Bear sleeping peacefully on his bed. He wasn't scared or confused, which is the biggest blessing Adam provided us. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone, but especially to someone who has the same anxieties about leaving their babies with someone they barely know. If Adam will have us, we plan to add him into our pack and his mom, Ruth, too! Adam, thank you for stepping in when we were in a complete bind, for taking such incredible care of Bear, Ellie, and Joe, and most importantly, for giving us the peace of mind to actually enjoy our trip knowing they were safe and loved. Lane was absolutely amazing and all 4 of our animals love her!! She stayed on top of 4 different feeding schedules, a bunch of medications (including eye drops, pills, and even a cat inhaler), and navigating our unique kitchen rules. The animals all warmed to her so quickly, even our shyer cats who came running up to her by the end of her stay. She sent the best updates with such cute pictures and all the important details which helped put my anxious pet mom self at ease. It made our trip so much better knowing our pets were being taken care of by someone who cares just as much as us. Already booking our next house sitting stay with her!
