Generally I am always available however I occasionally chauffeur 6:30 am - 7:30 am and 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm The majority of my daily or weekly routine is not a rigid schedule and can be easily adjusted to fit every pet's needs. My daytime job is primarily online with no daily commitments (about one meeting for a few hours once a month). With my extremely flexible schedule I am able to care for pets almost all times of the day, sticking to their routine/structure while you are away.

As I mentioned, I live in an apartment and therefore can no longer take care of animals inside my home. However, in your home it will be as if you never left. I am able to adjust my schedule to be as similar to yours as possible, and can be in your home close to 24 hours. Many say I am a very attentive person so any variation from your pet’s average behavior will be easily spotted and reported back to you. It is very common for pets to behave differently the first couple days, however I will make sure I make them feel as comfortable as possible. I can handle both energetic and docile pets with ease. I am a very neat and tidy person so once I leave it will be as if I was never there.

I would need to know if they have anxiety or any other conditions that would inhibit interaction or daily activities. I also need to know how they behave around other dogs/people to make everyone more comfortable on our walks.
A typical day
I enjoy riding my bike around the neighborhood, skateboarding and hiking in the hills. If that is something your dog enjoys I would love the company. if your dog is not that adventurous I find that every neighborhood has something unique to explore.

I did not have many animals as a child so you can say I have made up for it as an adult. With my ex-husband we took in strays so we had many fish tanks, dogs, and cats. My daughter took after him and would volunteer our home for summer time care of classroom pets including turtles. We have since moved into an apartment that does not allow dogs so in the past I have done pet sitting for family and friends. I have a lot of experience caring for special needs/elder cats as ours went blind and lost her smell before eventually passing away a few years ago. My brother more recently has adopted a pitbull that has developed a more aggressive side towards strangers, but has no issue with me on the holidays. My work schedule and lifestyle is now very flexible allowing me to spend more time doing what I enjoy- including taking care of others pets.

Andrea continues to be a reliable, consistent, communicative, awesome dog sitter. She takes lots of pictures, lets us know what’s going on, and we never worry when our dogs are with her. She’s smart and intuitive. One of our dogs is getting older and Andrea is able to adjust walks and modify exercise based on how our dog is feeling. She can give medicine and easily understands and follows our ever changing meal plans for our dogs based on their activity levels. She’s awesome. I was really nervous when we started using Rover but I’m so glad we found her on this app. She is our go-to dog sitter and we trust her with our beloved dogs more than we trust our friends and family!
