A typical day
A typical day watching pets involves a mix of routines, playtime, and personalized care to ensure each pet feels happy and comfortable. The day starts with a refreshing morning walk for dogs or some playtime for cats, followed by feeding each pet according to their dietary needs. After tidying up feeding areas and litter boxes, mid-morning is dedicated to engaging activities tailored to each pet, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive toys for dogs, and feather wands or puzzle feeders for cats. Training sessions or mental stimulation games are also incorporated to keep pets mentally sharp. The afternoon includes relaxation and social time, such as cuddling or brushing, and if appropriate, outings to nearby parks or pet-friendly cafes for dogs, or supervised garden time for cats. Evening routines involve feeding dinner, followed by leisurely walks for dogs or final play sessions for cats to burn off any remaining energy before bedtime.
