About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with fur babies and at one point had four dogs at once, so caring for dogs has always been a natural and meaningful part of my life. 🐾 My experience goes beyond being a pet parent. I’ve worked part-time at a dog boarding facility while attending vet tech classes to go to Veterinary school, giving me hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, personalities, and needs. I also have experience with dog sitting, dog walking, feeding, playtime, exercise, and providing lots of love and attention. My love for animals is genuinely a part of who I am. I’ve even offered to walk my neighbors’ dogs and take them along on hikes simply because I enjoy spending time with them! My compassion for animals is also one of the reasons I chose a vegan lifestyle. “Adrianne is awesome! We have an anxious reactive dog who is scared of strangers, but Adrianne was very patient and calm with him as he got used to her. We had recurring drop-ins to get our dog comfortable before Adrianne housesat for us, and she was great at communicating - she would let us know in advance if she couldn’t make it on particular drop-in day and was flexible about rescheduling. Our dog also takes medication daily and she was great with that. She sent daily updates and let our place very clean and organized. Definitely recommend and would book her again!”

About: (To start off, I am trying to raise money for a car and this is the way I’d like to do that!) I’ve lived in a household of dogs and cats my whole life simultaneously. I am currently not working and have lots of free time on my hands! My fur baby whom I take on walks (Killer) is highly reactive so I’m constantly aware of things that trigger him. I hope to be your companion’s companion! My schedule is very flexible and open! I am not working as of late, leaving me more time to care for your fur babies! The only time I have reserved is 10:30-11:30 on Thursdays. There are three cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon in my home. There’s always some sort of mayhem going on that needs to be meddled with. That being said, I understand how to address a situation if a companion has gotten somewhere that isn’t safe. Protect our fur babies at all costs! ♥️

About: I’ve always grown up with multiple cats and dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and routines. I’m experienced with feeding, playing, giving pets attention and affection, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Mikayla went above and beyond while housesitting for me. My dog required medication to be given to her twice a day and Mikayla not only ensured she got it but provided frequent updates throughout the stay so I knew my dog was doing okay. She brought in packages, ensured the place was tidy before she left and offered to check back on the girls if my travel schedule got delayed. I truly was able to rest easy during my time away knowing Mikayla was taking care of not only my animals but my home.
Hanna was amazing! We were going away for the weekend and our usual sitter was not available. Hanna stepped in did an amazing job with our dog and two cats. She went above and beyond, taking care of the house and sending regular updates via text and photos. The animals seemed to really vibe with her, and they can be picky sometimes! She’s very trustworthy and communicative and we wouldn’t hesitate a heartbeat in hiring her again.

Katherine was very responsible and thorough. She sent me frequent pictures and updates of my cat while she was staying with her. I felt like Katherine made Cleo her priority for the days she was booked to pet sit and I appreciated the open lines of communication. First time booking with Adam, and I truly can’t thank him enough. Three days before my husband and I were supposed to leave for a work trip, our usual pet sitter texted us saying she had food poisoning and could no longer help. I was honestly terrified. We have a 19-year-old Maltese named Bear who has been by my side since I was 18. Bear is in the final chapter of his life and requires a tremendous amount of specialized care. The thought of leaving him with someone we didn’t know was incredibly stressful. After exhausting every personal connection we had, we finally took a leap of faith and booked Adam through Rover. It was the best decision we could have made. Even with only three days’ notice, Adam went out of his way to make a meet-and-greet happen before we left. From the moment we met him, we immediately felt at ease. He brought professionalism, good vibes, and the attention to detail our animals needed. Adam met our two cats and, most importantly, Bear. We warned him that Bear is deaf, blind, wears diapers full time, and has recently started showing signs of Sundowning/dementia. At this stage of his life, keeping him comfortable and feeling safe is our absolute priority. Because of his needs, we always have someone stay in our home with him when we travel so as to keep him in a familiar environment and not make his confusion worse. I warned Adam there would be accidents, diaper changes, oral medication, and most likely having to wake up with him in the middle of the night if he had any restless spells. Kinda like having a newborn. None of it scared him. Instead, Adam listened, asked thoughtful questions, paid attention to every detail, and made us feel like Bear was in incredibly capable hands. I felt so at ease getting on the plane the next morning. While we were away, Adam kept us updated, communicated consistently, sent us headshot-quality pictures of everyone, and treated our animals with the same patience and care that we would have given them ourselves. Even our cat Ellie, who is scared of everyone new, started to feel comfortable coming out of hiding a few times to say hi! Bear's senior needs are no joke, and I am sure it presented it's challanges for Adam, but he never let us feel that. Every update he sent was full of nothing but positivity, which allowed me to focus on my work trip instead of stressing about what was going on at home. Leaving the needs of my senior pup in a stranger's hands was really hard for me to do. I am so grateful to have found Adam and the excellent care he provides. I walked into our house after 4 days of being away to a clean home, freshly washed sheets, 2 happy cats, and little Bear sleeping peacefully on his bed. He wasn't scared or confused, which is the biggest blessing Adam provided us. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone, but especially to someone who has the same anxieties about leaving their babies with someone they barely know. If Adam will have us, we plan to add him into our pack and his mom, Ruth, too! Adam, thank you for stepping in when we were in a complete bind, for taking such incredible care of Bear, Ellie, and Joe, and most importantly, for giving us the peace of mind to actually enjoy our trip knowing they were safe and loved. Lauren was great! She was kind, communicative, and it was clear that Tony really enjoyed his time with her. She checked in with us when she had a question and kept us updated throughout her stay with photos, which we loved. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, and we always felt like Tony was in great hands. We will definitely book with Lauren again!

Lane was absolutely amazing and all 4 of our animals love her!! She stayed on top of 4 different feeding schedules, a bunch of medications (including eye drops, pills, and even a cat inhaler), and navigating our unique kitchen rules. The animals all warmed to her so quickly, even our shyer cats who came running up to her by the end of her stay. She sent the best updates with such cute pictures and all the important details which helped put my anxious pet mom self at ease.
