About: In my household, we have always had a dog a part of our family. Growing up with dogs ignited my love for animals and being surrounded by pets. My most recent (now senior) dog has gone through surgeries, cancer treatments (with medication), and strict dieting so I am familiar with having to keep pets to a strict schedule and habits — while also giving them the best life possible with many walks and plenty of pets. I work a 9-5 job during the week with Fridays working remotely. I go in office usually from 9am -3pm and work the rest of the day remote but is subject to change. I am happy to accommodate and make it work for what you need and what works best for your pet(s)! I can also tomato by before and/or after work & dog/cat sit over weekdays and weekends. In an initial visit meeting your animal(s), I take thorough notes to what your pet needs, what their usual schedule looks like, and any other important information regarding care. Making sure your pet is safe, healthy, and happy is first priority.

About: Hi! I'm Arvanh 😊 Animal companions have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always some kind of animal around: dogs, cats, fish, parakeets, and even chickens, ducks, and cows when I spent time with family in Laos. Being around these companions just been a normal and joyful part of life for me. One of the biggest reasons I'm here on Rover is because of my dog, Avery. Avery was my best friend for many years and taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and unconditional love. Like most pet owners, I talked to her like she was a person, and planned parts of my day around making sure she was happy. Since losing her, I've realized how much I miss having furry kids in my life and how much I genuinely enjoy caring for them. Over the years, I've become the friend people call when they're heading out of town and need someone they trust to watch their fur babies. I've cared for: -energetic dogs who want to play nonstop, -cats that needed cuddle time and WALKS (wild, I know) -and nervous pets who just need a calm presence while their humans are away. When I care for someone's pet, I try to get to know their personality, routines, and preferences so I can give them the unique attention they deserve. That means: attention, sticking to their routine, and making sure you never have to wonder how they're doing. If you're away, I'll send photos and updates throughout the day because I know personally how comforting it is to see your pet happy and relaxed while you're gone. For house sitting, my goal is simple: keep your pet's life feeling as normal as possible (with some fun of course). We'll stick to feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, and whatever routines help them feel comfortable. If needed, I'll also take care of the little things around the house so you can enjoy your trip without worrying. :) For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, food, water, and care they need during my visit. Whether they want to play fetch, chase a toy, get belly rubs, or even just have someone sit with them for a bit, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. For dog walks, I love letting dogs enjoy the walk at their pace. Some dogs want to power walk the whole neighborhood, while others are on a mission to sniff every tree in sight. About: Hello : ) I am a stay at home parent (with school aged children) looking to help provide trusted pet care. I have a great deal of experience caring for animals. I grew up raising baby birds and caring for many a variety of animals (including many different breeds of cats and dogs). In addition to my own, I was hired to watch other family's animals, starting around age 8 (alongside my mom) and then independently around age 11. I love how different animal's personalities can be and think they bring so much joy to our busy lives! I understand how challenging it can be with busy lives/careers, to find trusted pet care. Now that my kiddos are in school, I have some flexibility and would love to help provide others with kind and reliable pet care during busy work weeks.
