“LOVE BETHANY!!! She is sweet, amazing with my pups, and extremely responsible. She replied to my inquiry immediately, and scheduled a meeting with me and the dogs for the following day. My difficult pup loved her, and my loving pup was even more excited to have her come over even though I was gone. I had Bethany house-sit for a long weekend, and received numerous photos and updates on my fur babies. I was nervous to leave them at home, but was able to leave with confidence that my babes would be cared for. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thanks Bethany!”

“Elissa got along with our two dogs very well, giving them good exercise and lots of attention. She was very responsive and understanding. We’ll be in touch when we need a dogsitter again!”

“An absolute GODSEND. I've had housesitters and used boarders before, but this was the first time using Rover and I couldn't imagine a better experience for Rover than to have Sharyl as the example I got as a housesitter. She was superb! At a very difficult and stressful time, she was able to housesit for three days and two nights and take care of my two pups (a 40 pound full-of-energy Brittany, and a 18 pound dachshund/terrier mix). She made me feel at ease and comfortable with choosing her, and made them feel taken care of and loved. Excellent dog skills and superior people skills too. I received regular updates on the dogs and pics of them too. Even with a demanding food regimen and the boundless energy of these dogs on their walks, she came through with flying colors! Thank the heavens for her!”
About: I’ve had my own personal experience with dogs and cats as well as friends and families since I was a kid. Your fur babies will be treated like my own. My schedule is pretty open! I’m a business owner! I understand what it’s like to have to work a job and leave your furbaby alone so i’m here to help! I will follow all instructions given by you to assure your pet is always comfortable and safe! A lot of fur babies have separation anxiety I’ll make sure they’ll always be comfortable.
“John did a wonderful job overnight house sitting for my 2 cats and Husky. While my fur babies are all fairly independent, they need and want a human presence at all times. John did great being there for them and keeping me up to date on their daily shenanigans.”

“Jose did a great job watching our great pyranees Bear! He sent lots of pictures and the best part is per request he brought his awesome dog Timmy to play with Bear. Bear had the best time. We look forward to booking with Jose again!”

“Amanda is an amazing pet sitter. From the moment shy Katie met her she was comfortable and within a minute gave her her belly to rrub. Our cat that usually hides when we travel immediately came to Amanda for lovins and never had at all. She is a very nice girl who I felt comfortable not only having watch my pets but also staying on my home. I highly recommend Amanda, really cares about and loves animals. It was nice to receive pics and status updates as my daughter missed the babies immensely.”

“We think Kyle is great & has stayed in our home a couple of times taking care of our Border Collie & cat. He has been thoughtful & diligent by texting us & sending pictures of our frizbee loving dog. We intend to keep using him whenever possible since our dog Mookie has really enjoyed his companionship.”

“We were nervous to leave our dog as he sometimes shows minor separation anxiety but Armando did such a great job!! He is super calm and laid back but also very responsive to messages. Would definitely book him again.”

“Showed up last minute to save the day and went above and beyond for us! We definitely hope to book Brianna again soon! She sent updates throughout and even left late when plans didn't go as hoped! Thank you Brianna!”

About: I have taken care about pets since I was six years old I had cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, fishes. I know what they need at the moment and I know they are like kids need to be cared I work in study from home. You can drop off/pick up pets from 9am till 9pm. My house is very friendly and open hearted 💞 I have a fenced large backyard and a lot of space at home to keep your pet in a safety and good feeling every minute
About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
About: I’m a college graduate from the University of Southern California who specializes in dog walking and in-home sitting. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Whether it's a quick walk around the block or overnight care, I give each dog my full attention and care. I'm reliable, and always follow your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. Your dog will enjoy personalized care, daily exercise, and plenty of affection. My favorite things to do for fun are scuba dive, fish, and ski. Im currently working part time so I have plenty of time on my hands. I have very flexible hours right now and would be willing to work with your dogs schedule. I’ll walk your dog around your neighborhood or drive them to parks and trails for fun, active walks they’ll love. I always make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection.
About: I love dogs! My husband and I recently had to say goodbye to our 13-year-old Weimaraner. We're not ready to get a new dog yet, but we miss the joy that being with pups brings to our lives and know as a dog owner how hard it can be to find a reliable sitter, so we thought we would take this time to offer our services to other pet owners. I have experience with large dogs, senior dogs and dogs with IVDD. My most recent dog had serious mobility issues due to age and required being helped into the car, onto the couch, etc. I also love taking photos of dogs and will be sure to send you regular photo pupdates during the stay to make you feel reassured that your dog is in good care (unless you don't want me to send, of course!) so you can have one less thing to worry about. My husband and I both work from home so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and the ability to hang out with your dog and make sure they are looked after and cared for all day long. I'm happy to have your dog hang out with me in my office if it's a weekday while I'm working or give them some space if that's what they prefer. I'm an endurance athlete so I love dogs who are active and am happy to take them for long walks or hikes, but I'm equally happy spending time cuddling with them on the couch. We live close to several parks and the ocean, so there's plenty of places to adventure. I'm also happy to take dogs who enjoy going for rides on trips in the car and we have a dog hammock in our SUV. We have a small fenced in back yard area as well as an open front yard for quick potty breaks or opportunities to bask in some sunshine. Because we until recently had our own dog, we have all the basic necessities such as dog beds, food bowls, treats, etc. but you're also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
“Britney house sat for me with my 3 pets (1 dog & 2 cats) while I was away visiting family for 5 days. She was an incredible sitter & an A+ communicator! My pets fell in love with her within minutes of her meet-and-greet, & she sent many text updates & photos/videos throughout her stay, which made me feel connected with my pets & reassured me that they were having a good time. Since she has a dog & cat of her own at home, I knew I'd be leaving them in good hands. She was also really quick to respond to my original request, which was so appreciated since it was only 3 days before my trip & I was scrambling after my original sitter canceled. Her younger brother also stopped by occasionally (with my permission, of course) to keep the pets company while Britney was studying & they loved him too! When I got home, the place was clean & the sheets/towels she used were washed & folded. I really appreciate how thoughtful & loving she was. Would definitely book Britney again!”

About: Hello! I am 28 years old and I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I’ve personally trained every dog I’ve owned, including my two 4 year old male German Shepherds Taurus and Aries, my 7 year old male tabby cat Vander and my 3 year old female calico Kiki so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, strong personalities, and high energy pups and cats. I believe animals respond best to calm, steady energy and consistency. I’m patient, attentive, and naturally in tune with their needs whether that’s playtime, structure, reassurance, or just quiet companionship. Your fur baby won’t just be “watched” in my care they’ll be understood, respected, and treated like family. Being a nursing student has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and sense of responsibility all qualities that naturally carry over into how I care for animals. I’m already deeply committed to my own two dogs’ routines and my two cats, so caring for pets is built into my daily rhythm. I’m very mindful about only taking on bookings I can give quality time and energy to. Your fur baby’s comfort and consistency always come first. I have my two 4 year old German Shepherds, and my two cats. I’ve created a balanced environment that blends structure with affection. The dogs have consistent exercise, training, and clear boundaries, while the cats have peaceful areas where they can lounge comfortably. It’s important to me that animals feel safe and understood, not just supervised. Our home is calm, clean, and filled with love and I carry that same energy into caring for other pets. Because I have two dogs and two cats of my own, I’ve chosen not to offer in-home boarding. I want to prioritize my pets’ comfort and stability, and I truly believe animals thrive best when their environment feels secure and consistent. Instead, I focus on caring for fur babies in their own homes. This allows your fur baby to stay in their familiar space and routine while receiving my full, undivided attention. I’m able to step into your home calmly and respectfully, maintaining the structure and comfort your fur baby is used to.

About: I’ve had and raised dogs all my life - from when they were just a few weeks old til they became senior dogs. I watch my friends’ dogs (big and small) when they go out of town. I love taking them for walks or just playing with them at a park or in the comfort of their own home. I promise to love and care for your sweet pup as if they were my own :) I am available most times and days of the week. I am currently working part time with a flexible schedule, so I can attend to your pet’s needs whenever appropriate. Unfortunately, I am unable to host any pets in the current apartment I’m living in. I would spend my time with your pup in your home. I’ll take them for walks and play with them til their heart is content!
“Amanda was fantastic with our shy 75 pound dog who gets anxious while we are gone. We worry so much about him when we have to travel, but Amanda put our minds at ease! It was so nice to receive her frequent updates of videos and pictures. She took great care of our dog and our house. We are so happy to have found a trusted dog/house sitter!!”

“If I could leave more than 5 I would. Natalia was amazing! Scooby has lots of trauma and she was so sweet and patient with him. So much so that they were friends at the end. She put our mind at ease and was so grateful that she was in such good hands!!”

John was kind, thorough, and dedicated to our pups while house sitting for us. They were so happy when we got home which is not usual for when we leave them. John left the home super tidy as well and followed all our instructions. He spent ample time with them during the day and was honest about his other obligations and how much time our dogs would be alone each day, which is much more direct than any of the other sitters we have used. He sent us daily updates and was quick to respond. He was even able to accomodate a last minute request I had for him. We appreciate you, John! And will certainly have you back when we need the help!! Thank you!

An absolute GODSEND. I've had housesitters and used boarders before, but this was the first time using Rover and I couldn't imagine a better experience for Rover than to have Sharyl as the example I got as a housesitter. Si-Mon is an angel and an incredible pet sitter. She took such great care of my boy while I was out of town for a week. It was the longest we had been apart and my dog experienced some separation anxiety. She stayed with him all night to help calm his nerves and stayed in communication with us the entire time we were gone with photos and videos.

We booked Alyssa for a week to house and dog sit our pup, Nugget, and had a great experience. She was super responsive, shared frequent photo updates, and left the house spotless. Nugget seemed happy and well cared for when we returned. We’d definitely recommend her!

We were so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time after surgery as he has some extra special needs now, but Kelsey took good care of him and we were reassured knowing he was in good hands. We’re so lucky to have found her and hope to have her again the next time we go away!
