About: I’ve been around and caring for animals since I was a kid, including my own pets as well as pets belonging to friends, family, and others. I have experience pet sitting, walking dogs, feeding, playing, and providing everyday care. Throughout my life I have lived with over 25 different animals with all different ages, needs, and personalities. Of course, I do need to know dates and responsibilities a few days in advance, but I am happy to work around your needs! I take safety and trust very seriously when caring for someone else’s pet and home. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, keep pets secure on walks and during visits, and pay attention to their behavior and comfort level. “Amanda is absolutely wonderful. I cannot tell you how much it meant to me for Mercy to be in Amanda’s care. She is so responsible, responds quickly to texts, sends pics daily, and understands the use of and administration of meds to pets. Mercy has major separation anxiety and she warmed up to Amanda so quickly, it was amazing. Amanda made recommendations to me that I didn’t even think of to help w the separation anxiety that I’ve been using and seem to work. I 10000 percent recommend Amanda. She will be the first person I book when I need someone to care for Mercy again. Plus when I came home after being gone for 6 days over thanksgiving, my place was spotless. I was in awe!”

“Brendan has made us feel like we can travel again! As we have a senior dog, we are reluctant to leave him--he's set in his ways and does not like changes to his routine which causes stress (for him and for us). Brendan set us at ease immediately. He has an extensive experience with all types of dogs, and was well aware of the unique needs of seniors: funky about feeding, different types of meds and med schedules, and the possibility of incontinence. Brendan took all of this in stride AND made us feel confident he could manage any issues should they arise. From day one, Brendan sent pictures and updates and was very communicative about Maxwell's behavior, habits and general well-being while we were gone. Although it was a lengthy stay (8 nights), he was communicative throughout and took good care of our home. I would have Brendan at our home again without question. I felt comfortable and confident that he would take good care of our sweet Maxwell. He got to know his personality and quickly seemed to understand Maxwell and that was clear in his communications with us.”

My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own. I'm home throughout the day/night unless I'm doing homework, photography, or at the gym to better myself; Which I love too. This is great as well if you're looking to better your pet well being. So being available is my most accurate thing about me and it works for any working hours of dog owners. My special skills are loving, playing with dogs, and keeping them happy always while spoiling them with my love or treats. haha. I also love to take photoshoots with my fur baby as I'm trying to own my business one day. I love teaching tricks, spending time walking with them, or just hanging out. I'm here for dogs. Dog lover is my passion. If I could own many dogs I would. I'm those extra helping hands. I am here for you! I can take them to play, walk, feed them, and potty/poop. “An absolute GODSEND. I've had housesitters and used boarders before, but this was the first time using Rover and I couldn't imagine a better experience for Rover than to have Sharyl as the example I got as a housesitter. She was superb! At a very difficult and stressful time, she was able to housesit for three days and two nights and take care of my two pups (a 40 pound full-of-energy Brittany, and a 18 pound dachshund/terrier mix). She made me feel at ease and comfortable with choosing her, and made them feel taken care of and loved. Excellent dog skills and superior people skills too. I received regular updates on the dogs and pics of them too. Even with a demanding food regimen and the boundless energy of these dogs on their walks, she came through with flying colors!
