“LOVE BETHANY!!! She is sweet, amazing with my pups, and extremely responsible. She replied to my inquiry immediately, and scheduled a meeting with me and the dogs for the following day. My difficult pup loved her, and my loving pup was even more excited to have her come over even though I was gone. I had Bethany house-sit for a long weekend, and received numerous photos and updates on my fur babies. I was nervous to leave them at home, but was able to leave with confidence that my babes would be cared for. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thanks Bethany!”

“We were nervous to leave our dog as he sometimes shows minor separation anxiety but Armando did such a great job!! He is super calm and laid back but also very responsive to messages. Would definitely book him again.”

About: Hi! I’m Heather! I am a lifelong animal lover, reliable caregiver, and proud pet parent of two doggos and two kitties (one who is a brand new addition!) I’m gentle and calm and I treat every pet like my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals, so communication and compassion are always my top priorities. You’ll get photo/Video updates and lots of reassurance while you’re away. I’m experienced with shy pets, senior pets, and anxious pups who need a little extra patience and kindness, and I adjust to your pet's personality and routine. I’m dependable, compassionate and always respectful of your homeand I truly love spending time with animals and giving them comfort, playtime, and affection while you’re gone. I know separation anxiety works both ways, and I strive to keep my clients relaxed and confident in my care of your fur babies. I am comfortable with oral medication routines as well as pet CPR. I would love to see if I would be a good fit for your family's needs. I’m a part-time student and work flexible contract jobs, so I’m able to build my schedule around pet care. I keep my availability consistent and make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. Pet sitting fits really naturally into my routine, and I love having furry company throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine familiar, their space calm, and their day as stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely, meals, walks, litter box care, playtime, meds, and any special quirks or comfort rituals your pet prefers. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they want cuddles, playtime, quiet companionship, or space. I move at their pace so they feel safe and understood. I also keep your home tidy and treated with respect while you’re away, lights, mail, plants, and basic upkeep are all happily included. My goal is for you to return to a relaxed pet and a home that feels well cared for. No matter the service, I focus on creating a loving, predictable, and calm environment so your pet feels secure until you’re home again.
“Tresha did an amazing job taking care of our pack of hounds. We have a mix of young and old dogs and she took the time to get to know/care for each pup. I would recommend her in the future! One of our pups has a serious crush on her puppy, so we are all looking forward to future play dates.”

“Seth responded to our last minute request and was very responsive. The pets were well cared for, and he sent us multiple updates while we were gone! The house was super tidy when we got back, and he even left us with a cat toy. Would definitely book again!”

“Elaine is the best! I was worried about leaving our girls to go on vacation. Them being rescues, I thought they might feel like we left them. Elaine was so good with them, pictures every day, constant feedback and very loving care. She's the best!! The girls love her and can't wait for us to go on vacation again. Thank you Elaine”

About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
“Mahima was absolutely wonderful. I needed a last-minute dog sitter on New Year’s Eve, which is a stressful day to be in a pinch, but she immediately put me at ease. She was thoughtful, patient, and incredibly kind, and I knew right away that my home and my dogs were in great hands. She followed all instructions perfectly, took them on walks, spent quality time cuddling with them, and treated them with great care. She was a delight to work with from start to finish. I would definitely hire Mahima again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a reliable and compassionate sitter.”

About: I have raised dogs with major seperation anxiety, problems with chewing and getting into things they shouldn't, and dealt with cats who have diabetes and heart issues. Pets have always been a part of my life and family. I currently have a senior dog and a senior cat of my own, whom I have had since they were weeks old. So I can help train, work on behavior, or we can just play! My animals are my world, and I know yours are the same. I want to give the same space and comfort that I want to provide my own pets. I am a work from home professional who has plenty of downtime and a need to get outside. While I can't spend 8 hours at the park with my own pup, I can certainly split my time between multiple animals. Just hoping to make some furry friends in between jobs. I will treat them how you want them to be treated. Whether it's just affection, or maybe learning new tricks, or being stern if we're working on breaking some bad habits. As always, I treat them as my own, and that's always with kindness, patience, and understanding.

“Abby stayed with Wendell, our high anxiety pup (actually an 11 yo dog), for a week. He was comfortable with her & did not have any anxious moments. She was able to help him feel calm while we were away. We appreciate her help & will definitely ask for her again.”

About: I love dogs! My husband and I recently had to say goodbye to our 13-year-old Weimaraner. We're not ready to get a new dog yet, but we miss the joy that being with pups brings to our lives and know as a dog owner how hard it can be to find a reliable sitter, so we thought we would take this time to offer our services to other pet owners. I have experience with large dogs, senior dogs and dogs with IVDD. My most recent dog had serious mobility issues due to age and required being helped into the car, onto the couch, etc. I also love taking photos of dogs and will be sure to send you regular photo pupdates during the stay to make you feel reassured that your dog is in good care (unless you don't want me to send, of course!) so you can have one less thing to worry about. My husband and I both work from home so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and the ability to hang out with your dog and make sure they are looked after and cared for all day long. I'm happy to have your dog hang out with me in my office if it's a weekday while I'm working or give them some space if that's what they prefer. I'm an endurance athlete so I love dogs who are active and am happy to take them for long walks or hikes, but I'm equally happy spending time cuddling with them on the couch. We live close to several parks and the ocean, so there's plenty of places to adventure. I'm also happy to take dogs who enjoy going for rides on trips in the car and we have a dog hammock in our SUV. We have a small fenced in back yard area as well as an open front yard for quick potty breaks or opportunities to bask in some sunshine. Because we until recently had our own dog, we have all the basic necessities such as dog beds, food bowls, treats, etc. but you're also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
“Amanda was fantastic with our shy 75 pound dog who gets anxious while we are gone. We worry so much about him when we have to travel, but Amanda put our minds at ease! It was so nice to receive her frequent updates of videos and pictures. She took great care of our dog and our house. We are so happy to have found a trusted dog/house sitter!!”

“Destiny is one of the best pet sitters I have used. I highly recommend hiring her. She's great at being loving and caring to our pets. She's great at communicating, sharing photos, following instructions, and doing a superb job. She took care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat and I was so pleased and happy with her service. I plan to hire her again!”

About: All my life I have loved and cared for animals of all kinds and ages including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hedgehogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, and even horses. I trained and fostered dogs before a brief stint abroad where I just completed my Master's degree. As much as I love walks and playtime, I am not afraid of the messy and equally important side of pet care. I have taken care of animals with special needs and medication requirements. I always maintain general pet hygiene including baths, brushing, ear and teeth cleaning, and proper tic removal. Whatever your pet may need or quirks they may have, I will be happy to make sure they are taken care of. I just moved back to CA and am working as a part-time nanny and freelance film crew which means I make my own schedule and have the flexibility to not only care for your fur family but also focus all my time and energy on them when I do so. As a house sitter, I am here to provide pet care and overall home care. Your pets will be my highest priority, of course, but I'm here to maintain your home and help provide peace of mind while you are away.
“Andrew was great! He stayed with our Violet overnight and kept her fed and walked. She is typically a nervous pup so I was worried about leaving her with someone, but she seemed happy and content when we returned. Our internet went out the whole time Andrew was here, and he was very easygoing about it. We would definitely have him back!”

“Cloe saved my trip when my original sitter plans backed out days before. She’s super quick to respond and I felt really confident in her care for Odin in my home while I was away. My mind was at ease.”

An absolute GODSEND. I've had housesitters and used boarders before, but this was the first time using Rover and I couldn't imagine a better experience for Rover than to have Sharyl as the example I got as a housesitter. She was superb! At a very difficult and stressful time, she was able to housesit for three days and two nights and take care of my two pups (a 40 pound full-of-energy Brittany, and a 18 pound dachshund/terrier mix). She made me feel at ease and comfortable with choosing her, and made them feel taken care of and loved. Excellent dog skills and superior people skills too. I received regular updates on the dogs and pics of them too. Even with a demanding food regimen and the boundless energy of these dogs on their walks, she came through with flying colors! Thank the heavens for her!
Si-Mon is an angel and an incredible pet sitter. She took such great care of my boy while I was out of town for a week. It was the longest we had been apart and my dog experienced some separation anxiety. She stayed with him all night to help calm his nerves and stayed in communication with us the entire time we were gone with photos and videos.

Kyle watched our dog and our senior foster dog for 15 days, the longest we'd ever been away from our dog. I was never concerned or worried about the pups, as Kyle is excellent. He has a great, calm demeanor, he's respectful of our home, and the pups like having him around. I highly recommend Kyle and will absolutely hire him again for future dog-sitting and dog walks.

We booked Alyssa for a week to house and dog sit our pup, Nugget, and had a great experience. She was super responsive, shared frequent photo updates, and left the house spotless. Nugget seemed happy and well cared for when we returned. We’d definitely recommend her!

We were so nervous about leaving our dog for the first time after surgery as he has some extra special needs now, but Kelsey took good care of him and we were reassured knowing he was in good hands. We’re so lucky to have found her and hope to have her again the next time we go away!
