About: I truly love hanging out with these animals and it’s so rewarding for me as well. My dog of 14 years just passed so I’d love to spend some time with your pets. I have an open schedule right now. I can walk and be around all day for your pet care needs . I can take them to the beach or park as well. I have a safe apartment with a park a block away and the beach a 5 minute drive . My furniture is pet friendly and I have dog pets and bowls.

About: Growing up, I spent time helping and learning from my uncle, a professional dog walker! I assisted him on daily walks for years and cared for dogs of different shapes, sizes, and ages. He passed down valuable knowledge on pet care and respectfully conducting one's self. I believe this experience directed me to a passion for pet care. Currently, I have been pet-sitting on my own on Rover since 2021! I’ve met and cared for so many new pets and the opportunity has been memorable! I deeply care for animals and know how much walks can mean for dogs. My own dog loves going on walks for miles. Each pet is different and requires their own set of needs, though. Thus, I strive my best to meet the needs of each pet I come into contact with! I have graduated with a B.A. in psychology and have spent the past year working in schools and a clinic. I am taking a break from full time work and have flexible availability! While my own home is not available for pet care, I am more than able to travel to a client's home and do the necessary tasks required of me. I would follow all and any rules, reminders, tips, etc. Pets will be treated with care, love, and responsibility.

About: I had two dogs of my own for 16 years who have since passed. I took care of them from puppyhood to senior ages. I am attentive to the needs of dogs and I greatly enjoy them. I have walked neighbors dogs and have experience with dogs of all types and demeanors, from aggressive dogs and dogs that pull while walking to super happy go lucky dogs . I love them all. I currently am unemployed and do contract work when it comes, thus, I spend most days at home and have a lot of time to be with your pet. I am used to caring for dogs and planning my time around their needs. I typically walk dogs multiple times a day, for lengths depending on the dogs needs and abilities. I have a large grassy area near my apartment that dogs may run in, or we can walk to the beach to play.

About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. Upon having pets of my own, I raised my kids and now, grandkids, that our pets are special and essential in our lives and need to be treated that way. I have owned strays and mixed breeds, and a lhasa apso to hybrid wolves. A few years back, I started carrying for friends pets in their homes when they traveled. This service brings them peace of mind and comfort when they are away, as they know their sweet pet is being cared for with the same level of care that they provide. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 8 years now personally for friends, family and myself! I have a chihuahua/ shitzu mix who is 6 years old that I have raised since 7 weeks old and he is the best. I am currently a stay at home mom/wife ..so I will have plenty time to give needed attention to the doggies and nice play time as well. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, have potty breaks and enjoy the outdoors. My apartment community also has a dog park, plenty of grassy areas, and a walking trail, providing lots of opportunities for exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and exploration. I make sure every dog gets the activity, attention, and care they need while staying in a safe, comfortable environment.

About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.

I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), a pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, (I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. Familiar with how to handle dogs in heat. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 day notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets, treats, cuddles and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.

My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner.
