About: I have taken care of dogs for 8 years now personally for friends, family and myself! I have a chihuahua/ shitzu mix who is 6 years old that I have raised since 7 weeks old and he is the best. I am currently a stay at home mom/wife ..so I will have plenty time to give needed attention to the doggies and nice play time as well. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, have potty breaks and enjoy the outdoors. My apartment community also has a dog park, plenty of grassy areas, and a walking trail, providing lots of opportunities for exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and exploration. I make sure every dog gets the activity, attention, and care they need while staying in a safe, comfortable environment.

About: I grew up with animals my entire life ( including exotic and farm), volunteered at the wildlife rehab center, and local vet hospital throughout college. From cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, newts, any furr or slimey critter that needs love and attention while you're away! Senior or adolescent I'm experienced with caring for any age, dietary, attention, or medications needs :) I'm a cancer survivor so caring for myself and pets its my job! I'm available to be a regular friendly face every week or supplement support when you have long days or stuck at work! I'm located right in downtown long beach and familiar with safe parks to take your pets to, or happy to entertain them at their home in a safe space :) I'm very attentive and adjust my approach according to your pets comfort.

About: I have a special places in my heart for animals and can’t wait to share that love with your pets! I have always adopted my own dogs from the animal shelter and have experience with all types of temperament’s. I am also an avid runner with my own dogs and happy to take yours for a run as well if a walk isn’t enough for their energy needs. Since we can’t adopt any more dogs into our family at the moment, I joined Rover as a way to have more dogs in my life! I work full time from home but have a pretty flexible schedule to take my lunch break at any time during the day depending on when your pet needs me. While I will only be providing outside the home services, I always make sure to treat people’s homes as I would my home. I make sure to leave it better than I found it and alert the client if I noticed anything that needed their attention immediately.

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. About: I’ve owned pets my entire life and am experienced dog owner. My friends and family rely on me to pet sit for them when they are away. Experienced with young pets and senior pets! I work 12 hour shifts 3 days out of the week and am available to help with your pet needs throughout the rest of the week. I ensure that my pets safety is maintained at all times. On walks I ensure to access and scan the areas I am walking through for any hazards. I also ensure I am in an environment that does not put my dog or other dogs at risk.

About: I have pet sit for friends while they are on vacation. I have taken care of about 4 dogs. I have lived with a dog for about 2 years I work part time so i have around 3 free days a week while the others i work schedule i can comfortably have time to go check in on your fur babies and work ! I can make sure your dog comfortably gets the care and attention they need while you’re away. Whether that is walks or just playing with them for a bit so they aren’t lonely

About: I’ve been surrounded with animals my whole life and have a deep love and respect for them. I treat each pet with love and care as if they were my own 💕 As of right now, I have a decently open schedule as I am between jobs. I currently live in the Palos Verdes area and have my own car for transportation. I am most definitely available to pet sit at other home and can be there most of the day with them if needed! Feeding, walking, playing, and cleaning would all be part of daily routine to make sure your pet is as happy and healthy as possible while you are away! I cannot offer any pet services in my own house currently.

About: I have had the pleasure of helping friends and family with their pets since I was a young girl. I've always loved furry friends, children too, & I recently had a fur baby of my own who taught me how to groom her and love her as my very own first puppy. I loved baking her little home-made treats, and making her dinners from scratch! Unfortunately, I had to return her to her original family as my living situation and job security has been undergoing major reconstruction the last couple years. I work in music and am now a mama to a baby boy! SAHM since I am EBF, so all support helps my family. I am currently looking for a full-time job as a nanny, so until then, my schedule is totally open! I love taking pets to play outside with me any day of the week! About: I have been a sitter for years. It’s just something I love to do because I love animals :) Once I got a fur family of my own (Dog & Cat) I thought it would be fun to be a sitter and do something I love. About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
