About: Hi there! I am Heather, a lifelong pet mom, registered Home Care Aide (HCA), and certified in pet CPR/First Aid, with a professional background in caregiving. Caring for living beings is second nature to me and something I have done for years. I am patient, attentive, and really try to tune into each individual pet's personality. I respect whatever makes them feel safe. I am especially good with shy, senior, and pet's that need someone gentle and predictable. I am a contract worker as well as an HCA, which allows me to have a flexible schedule, and I am usually available nights, weekends, and most holidays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow your feeding schedule, litter or potty routine, and any quirks or habits your pet is used to. I like to start visits with a quick check-in on how they’re acting, make sure everything looks normal, and then move into feeding, fresh water, litter care, and whatever comfort or play they enjoy. I will provide your pet with walks and playtime, while assuring the safety of both them and your home.

About: Good energy translates to calm dog! I don’t just “watch” pets — I build trust and companionship with them. I treat every pet as if it’s your own. If you tell me 8am, I’m there are 7:50am! I’ll give consistent updates to you. Communicating clearly and proactively (photos, notes, or even little videos) so per parents know they can truly relax when I’m in charge. I can handle emergencies calmly and responsibly and prioritize the well-being and comfort of each pet above everything. I currently work full-time, but I’m available on some weekdays after 4pm. Weekends are my thing! I’m an early bird and like to walk as early as 6 AM. I have a back up bungee leash and it wraps securely around my body to make sure your dog won’t get away from me and it safe.

About: Ive taken care of dogs/cats of different a kinds through the years. I make sure to have your furry friends well fed and set up to the needs by any means. I’ve made sure to keep certain schedules if needed for any type of necessity. And one thing I make sure is to have happy pets so that you have a happy mind. About: I used to have a black Labrador retriever who i loved sooo much. She passed away from old age when i was in highschool, but my love for dogs began with her! I love any and all dogs and im the person to trust with your fur babies! I have class Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday currently. Mid December that will change as I will have Class Monday through Thursday. any other day I am available. I live in an apartment complex but there is a grass area downstairs for dogs. I also am in a very walkable area, right next to the pike in Long Beach. We can go walk across the street to the lighthouse area that is very grassy and hilly which your dog will enjoy. I will take your dog out for a walk/to go potty however often you would like me to according to your schedule you have set for them!

I specialize in multiple-pet households, but whether you have one pet or five, rest assured they'll each receive the best care possible. I'm extremely detailed (I love a comprehensive info sheet!), and I ask the right questions up front, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in good hands. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time and energy to devote to your pets. I prefer to work weekdays, Monday-Friday, but I am also available for longer in-home stays over the weekend with enough notice. I take your pet's health and safety very seriously, which is why I make sure I understand not only what their immediate needs are (food, water, exercise, enrichment), but also what potential stressors might be (loud noises, other animals, etc.). I gather as much information as I can up front, so I can anticipate your pet's needs as they arise. Knowing where the cleaning materials, trash, emergency numbers, and security items (crate, leash, carrier) are in your home gives ME peace of mind and makes my job that much easier. Once I have all the info I need, while you're gone, I can check back in with you as much or as little as you prefer -- I'm happy to send updates throughout the day, or I'm just as happy to take care of things myself and provide a summary when you return. About: I’ve grown up with a husky and a German Shepard and boxer mix who are both the loves of my lives. I also have a two cats I currently take care of and they’re both sweethearts. I love all dogs and cats and I’ll definitely take care of them as if they’re my own. I also know a lot of parks in my area and I’m willing to take any dogs on a hike since I love being outdoors. I think it’s important for dogs to get fresh air and go on a long hike so they can get some weekly exercise! Every time I walk or dogsit i’ll take them on a little adventure!
