I was concerned because he'd never been around other dogs before and he was wearing a cone...not the most inviting thing. On day 1, he seemed lost but she was great about giving him the attention and comfort he needed. Day 2, I could immediately tell from the pictures that my puppy was more confident and relaxed in her home and with the other dogs. I will definitely be using her again as a sitter!”

About: Hi! I'm a dog lover of all sizes. I'll run with your dog, teach them tricks (taught our former dog how to use the clicker and various commands), throw the ball with them, take them on walks and feed them. I'm located in PV by the PV reservoir so I'm always out and about in the neighborhood on runs, etc. I grew up with a Scottish Terrier and have watched German Shepherds, Cattle Dogs, Dashunds, Shiba Inu’s and other Terrier breeds. I've got many books on how to deal with various dog behaviors and it's taught me a lot over the years. Would love to help during the week or if you need someone to assist on the weekends too, that can be arranged. Hope to meet your pooch soon! I’ll be able to balance time as I’m at home most days of the week. I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can typically make it work. “Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We had 3 dogs, unfortunately they all passed due to old age recently. We would love having your dog as part of our family while the visit. I treat them like my own kid, lots of play, cuddle, balls and going on nice walks. Dogs have been a big part of how I describe who I am, I also rescue dogs and help them find loving forever homes. We have a huge fenced yard and leave close to a park, we love to go on walks and stay active. I currently work part-time so I have the ability to mindfully attend to your fur baby. I am also a very organized person and send updated timely with photos. I have a super large fenced large and lots of tennis balls (left overs from my dogs who passed last year). I also have a park 5 min from my house.

I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From Golden Retrievers to Dachshunds and German Shepherds—and of course cats—these wonderful companions have always been around me. After moving from Europe to the United States, I found myself missing the presence of furry friends. While living in Washington, DC, I started dog walking and cat sitting, and I continued caring for pets while living in Virginia.
