“Armando saved the day for me when I had to last minute go into the office. My dog is very playful and active which makes it hard sometimes to find a sitter that is ok with that. Thankfully Armando has a dog with similar energy as mine so they had a great time playing all day. Armando was very communicative and responsive. i will definitely be using Armando again! Thank you!!”

“Sylvia was amazing! She kept me updated on my two dogs throughout their stay in her home and made sure they got plenty of playtime ! I would highly recommend her and plan to rebook !”

“Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

“Heather was absolutely wonderful watching my dog, Hugo! From the start, her communication was clear and reassuring. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Hugo like her own. Hugo can be a little shy at first, but Heather’s patience and kindness helped him warm up quickly. She sent me regular updates with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Hugo was happy, well cared for, and enjoying his time with her. When I came home, Hugo was relaxed and content — a true sign of how comfortable he felt with Heather. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. “Omg Perla is the best! I was taking my dog to daycare facilities and wasn’t getting the quality of care a pup should get and was unsupervised most of the day. I decided to get on Rover and was so blessed to find Perla. She was so flexible and was willing to do a meet and greet last minute. She is very knowledgeable of dogs and is so understanding of all dogs different personalities. The day we dropped Hash Brown off she was attentive and so sweet. She sent me updates and THE BEST pictures every couple of hours. She should really become a dog photographer because the photos she took were AMAZING. My dog who is anxious at times, quickly warmed up to her and she is so loving to all the pups she cares for. It’s nice to know that your dog is in good hands! So glad I found Perla and can’t wait until Hash Brown goes back! Thank you!”

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. Why you can trust me: I’ve been pursuing a career in animal care for years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛
About: Hi! Thank you for stopping by my profile. One of our favorite family hobbies is caring for pets. Every furry guest becomes part of our little family while they’re with us. 🐾❤️ I’d love to share a little about our home and why we truly enjoy taking care of pets. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From Golden Retrievers to Dachshunds and German Shepherds—and of course cats—these wonderful companions have always been around me. After moving from Europe to the United States, I found myself missing the presence of furry friends. While living in Washington, DC, I started dog walking and cat sitting, and I continued caring for pets while living in Virginia. Now we’re in San Pedro, and I’m excited to keep providing loving and reliable care for pets in our community. We’re a military family living in a safe, gated community near Cabrillo Beach. My son is a wonderful little helper and is often the pets’ favorite because he gives them lots of attention, playtime, and love—and he’s always happy to share his bed for extra cuddles. He especially enjoys playing fetch with dogs at the dog park just a 3-minute walk from our home. 🐾 Your pet will enjoy plenty of play sessions, walks around our sunny neighborhood 🌴, as well as indoor and garden playtime. We also have a small yard where pets can relax during the day while I’m home. I provide multiple walks throughout the day, along with cuddles, brushing, and lots of attention to make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and preferences so I can make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. 🐶🐱 I am very flexible. I am currently staying home with a very flexible remote job. I can take care of your furry friend during weekdays and weekends with the same day notice. In both my home and my clients' homes, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I ensure all potential hazards are removed and prioritize the pet's well-being. At clients' homes, I establish trust with the pet, familiarize myself with their routine, and follow any specific instructions provided. Communication with pet owners is key, and I ensure adherence to dietary and medical requirements. Overall, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where pets feel safe and cared for, whether they're in my home or their own.
“She was so sweet & patient with my anxious dog. Updated me with pics throughout the day. Very gentle & I can tell she’s good with dogs. Thanks so much Linette! Will book again.”

Tracie was honestly amazing. I was a little nervous leaving my pet at first, but she made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which I really appreciated, it felt good knowing everything was going well. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and takes her time with them. When I got back, my pet was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. I’d definitely trust her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. Thanks tracie.

Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Armando was terrific! My 35 lb 2-year-old had stitches and needed to be kept calm and supervised for a couple days that we were unable to stay home with him. Armando was available on short notice and asked the right questions about what sort of care was needed (one of his dogs had just gone through a similar experience). His dogs were very sweet and he took terrific care of my boy both days, lots of play and socialization while keeping it nice and easy. Stitches came out on schedule after and he's healing up nicely. Thank you Armando!
