“Sylvia was amazing! She kept me updated on my two dogs throughout their stay in her home and made sure they got plenty of playtime ! I would highly recommend her and plan to rebook !”

“When our pet, Rico, is happy, we are happy. Rico is timid and avoids other dogs. Every time we have used Rover, he has fit in nicely with other dogs present. Thank you, Traci. Your chihuahuas have given Rico new amigos and I think I heard him bark in Spanish.”

“Thank you so much! She is BEST sitter for us. She sent many photos for us. So We could know how our fur baby were doing. My dog had a very relaxing stay and is very good condition the next day. We'll definitely request again next time.”

“Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

“First time ever using Rover for my fur baby. Felt absolutely comfortable with leaving her. I was able to go about my day knowing she was taken care of. My dog warm up to her right away. Will definitely be a returning client . Very satisfied with the overall service”

“Staci was absolutely amazing with my 10 week old puppy, Poppy. She not only played with her and took care of her, she followed Poppy’s routine to a t and went above and beyond. She also sent so many pictures throughout the day which made me feel even more secure and happy to have someone like her with Poppy. I would absolutely without a doubt hire her again. Thank you so much Staci!!”

“Vivian was really great with our pup. She’s responsive and provides those updates that always put a smile on our face throughout the day. Our pup seemed to be comfortable there and looked like having fun too! Would definitely request for her services again.?”
“Heather was absolutely wonderful watching my dog, Hugo! From the start, her communication was clear and reassuring. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Hugo like her own. Hugo can be a little shy at first, but Heather’s patience and kindness helped him warm up quickly. She sent me regular updates with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Hugo was happy, well cared for, and enjoying his time with her. When I came home, Hugo was relaxed and content — a true sign of how comfortable he felt with Heather. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with Heather again!”

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. Why you can trust me: I’ve been pursuing a career in animal care for years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛

Terminal Island dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tracie was honestly amazing. I was a little nervous leaving my pet at first, but she made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. She kept me updated with messages and pictures, which I really appreciated, it felt good knowing everything was going well. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals and takes her time with them. When I got back, my pet was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. I’d definitely trust her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. Thanks tracie.

Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. Armando was terrific! My 35 lb 2-year-old had stitches and needed to be kept calm and supervised for a couple days that we were unable to stay home with him. Armando was available on short notice and asked the right questions about what sort of care was needed (one of his dogs had just gone through a similar experience). His dogs were very sweet and he took terrific care of my boy both days, lots of play and socialization while keeping it nice and easy. Stitches came out on schedule after and he's healing up nicely. Thank you Armando!
