Doggy Day Care Terminal Island

About: I've taken care of dogs for over 10 years and would love to host small to medium-sized friendly, mellow dogs. I am an artist and writer who lives in San Pedro, CA, by the waterfront. I have a fenced yard and work out of my home art studio. I can board your doggie(s) at my house for the day or for a few hours. I do not own pets right now because I have been traveling a bit. I am available M-F, and holiday/weekends if given advance notice. Only two dogs at most at any one time at my home. Contact me if you want a trusted companion for your furry friend :) I wake up very early in the morning. I usually take a walk by midmorning, and work on art or writing for the rest of the day, so I have plenty of time to play with your furry friends. I have a fenced yard to allow your doggies to get air, sun, or run around a bit supervised. I am also comfortable with dogs sitting on my furniture or bed. I have hardwood floors.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. We had 3 dogs, unfortunately they all passed due to old age recently. We would love having your dog as part of our family while the visit. I treat them like my own kid, lots of play, cuddle, balls and going on nice walks. Dogs have been a big part of how I describe who I am, I also rescue dogs and help them find loving forever homes. We have a huge fenced yard and leave close to a park, we love to go on walks and stay active. I currently work part-time so I have the ability to mindfully attend to your fur baby. I am also a very organized person and send updated timely with photos. I have a super large fenced large and lots of tennis balls (left overs from my dogs who passed last year). “Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

About: Hi! I'm a dog lover of all sizes. I'll run with your dog, teach them tricks (taught our former dog how to use the clicker and various commands), throw the ball with them, take them on walks and feed them. I'm located in PV by the PV reservoir so I'm always out and about in the neighborhood on runs, etc. I grew up with a Scottish Terrier and have watched German Shepherds, Cattle Dogs, Dashunds, Shiba Inu’s and other Terrier breeds. I've got many books on how to deal with various dog behaviors and it's taught me a lot over the years. Would love to help during the week or if you need someone to assist on the weekends too, that can be arranged. Hope to meet your pooch soon! About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and Since I was 15 I would dog sit friends and families pets when they wanted to travel or had to work. Some pets I had to also give medication to them. My schedule can vary so I may be able to get you scheduled in so I can take care of your puppy dogs. Would like an extra income please message me see if our schedules work out.. I live in a house with a fence all around and gate in the front so your puppy will have plenty of space to run around my house or go outside for a potty break or get to run around the yard.. I can also easily crate them with a fence inside my house. I do have 2 pups of my own so they can play around if possible.

I’m currently a stay at home mom who absolutely adores pets, so my schedule is completely up to what your pet needs and what their schedule is! “My dog Sunday and I went to have a meet and greet with Maria Monday evening and Sunday went for daycare the next day. She was definitely nervous being in a new place especially after over a year of not leaving my side. Maria appeared concerned that she may be too nervous, but was quite able to put my dog at ease. She let Sunday and the other dogs spend lots of time hanging out and cuddling with her and took them out to the park to get lots of exercise. I got messages and pictures throughout the day letting me know how she was doing, which helped me feel more confident leaving Sunday with her. Sunday looked happy when I picked her up and knocked out right when we got home! I would totally be a repeat customer?”
