About: I grew up with animals my entire life ( including exotic and farm), volunteered at the wildlife rehab center, and local vet hospital throughout college. From cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, newts, any furr or slimey critter that needs love and attention while you're away! Senior or adolescent I'm experienced with caring for any age, dietary, attention, or medications needs :) I'm a cancer survivor so caring for myself and pets its my job! I'm available to be a regular friendly face every week or supplement support when you have long days or stuck at work! I'm located right in downtown long beach and familiar with safe parks to take your pets to, or happy to entertain them at their home in a safe space :) I'm very attentive and adjust my approach according to your pets comfort.

About: I grew up with dogs most of my life and have house sat for many friends. I’m a recent former veterinary assistant with 6 years of clinical and hospital experience. I understand dog and cat behavior and have studied under amazing veterinarians, so I feel confident I can treat your pet with the utmost care and consideration. I can give medications depending on the pet’s temperament but will do my best. :)

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. About: I had a dog for over 10 years and after he sadly passed away, I realized that I still had a lot of love to give! I’m currently a stay at home mom who absolutely adores pets, so my schedule is completely up to what your pet needs and what their schedule is! I live in an upstairs apartment that has lots of space for play time but also has cozy spots for nap time! The apartment has a secured front balcony that can be blocked off at request.

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and Since I was 15 I would dog sit friends and families pets when they wanted to travel or had to work. Some pets I had to also give medication to them. My schedule can vary so I may be able to get you scheduled in so I can take care of your puppy dogs. Would like an extra income please message me see if our schedules work out.. I live in a house with a fence all around and gate in the front so your puppy will have plenty of space to run around my house or go outside for a potty break or get to run around the yard.. I can also easily crate them with a fence inside my house. I do have 2 pups of my own so they can play around if possible.

About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.

My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own.
