About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛

About: I’ve always been a dog person! I grew up around animals and have had both cats and dogs my whole life. For the past 14 years, I’ve also cared for friends’, family members’, and neighbors’ pets, so I’m experienced with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I love getting outside for walks—whether it’s a quick neighborhood stroll or a longer adventure, whatever is best for your pup. I had a baby in February, and we’ve made daily walks and hikes part of our routine. Since losing my own dog in May, I’ve really missed having a furry walking companion. I’ll typically have my baby with me, either in a stroller or baby carrier, so your dog will need to be comfortable around babies. I’m reliable, patient, and will treat your dog like my own. I’ll always make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re having a great time. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I’m able to provide walks, check-ins, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I love having animals as part of my routine and enjoy making sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. I only offer pet care in the client’s home, as I have a cat of my own who prefers being the only furry friend in the house. In your home, I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for by providing lots of love, feeding, walks, playtime, and attention. I’ll also help keep things tidy along the way so your home is just as you left it.

About: I grew up with animals my entire life ( including exotic and farm), volunteered at the wildlife rehab center, and local vet hospital throughout college. From cats, dogs, birds, snakes, lizards, newts, any furr or slimey critter that needs love and attention while you're away! Senior or adolescent I'm experienced with caring for any age, dietary, attention, or medications needs :) I'm a cancer survivor so caring for myself and pets its my job! I'm available to be a regular friendly face every week or supplement support when you have long days or stuck at work! I'm located right in downtown long beach and familiar with safe parks to take your pets to, or happy to entertain them at their home in a safe space :) I'm very attentive and adjust my approach according to your pets comfort.

About: I had a dog in my childhood that I cherished, I foster dogs on occasion, and I frequently walk and take care of the dogs in my neighborhood Currently in-between jobs so I can walk or take care of dogs with a really flexible schedule. Mostly from the morning to evening times can work. I live in a safe, dog friendly townhouse that is good for walks and I live near a bunch of parks, dog parks, and walkable sidewalks.

About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. Upon having pets of my own, I raised my kids and now, grandkids, that our pets are special and essential in our lives and need to be treated that way. I have owned strays and mixed breeds, and a lhasa apso to hybrid wolves. A few years back, I started carrying for friends pets in their homes when they traveled. This service brings them peace of mind and comfort when they are away, as they know their sweet pet is being cared for with the same level of care that they provide. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.

About: I've had pets all my life and I currently have 4 of my own. I am someone that can be trusted with your pets and they will be cared for just like my own. I'm a freelance performer and my availability is very flexible. Should someone need a last minute sitter I am the person to call. I try to be active with my fur babies and I will make sure they are fully stimulated so they are behaved and happy when the owner gets them back. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats to keep your baby company. I also have extra crates if needed. I take them to the beach

My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! About: I grew up on a farm! So my entire life I have had 9 plus dogs. I have experience with puppies up to senior doggies. I live alone now with my 3 pups and they are my life. I know it can be scary to leave your baby in the hands of a stranger but I guarantee I will care for your babies like they are my own! I currently work full time during the week Monday-Friday, but I’m off at 4pm most days. Weekends I have off and am flexible with hours. About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.

About: Hello! I am 28 years old and I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I’ve personally trained every dog I’ve owned, including my two 4 year old male German Shepherds Taurus and Aries, my 7 year old male tabby cat Vander and my 3 year old female calico Kiki so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, strong personalities, and high energy pups and cats. About: Owners will love the care I provide because I'm very loving and respectful of needs/wants. I'm very caring for animals as they need our help as much as possible. I love all kinds of animals. My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own. I'm home throughout the day/night unless I'm doing homework, photography, or at the gym to better myself; Which I love too. This is great as well if you're looking to better your pet well being. So being available is my most accurate thing about me and it works for any working hours of dog owners. My special skills are loving, playing with dogs, and keeping them happy always while spoiling them with my love or treats. haha. I also love to take photoshoots with my fur baby as I'm trying to own my business one day. I love teaching tricks, spending time walking with them, or just hanging out. I'm here for dogs.
