We always felt great knowing our boy was in such great and loving hands. We will certainly be booking with her again next time we go out of town 😊”

“Ivette was vey welcoming and kind to my little Charly. She had no issues tending to Charly meal routine aswell as his exercise needs. Charly was very happy when picking him up, which is always a very good sign that he had a good stay. Thank you and would 10/10 recommend to everyone”

“Pax has a wonderful time at Sylvia’s this was his first time staying over more than one night. Sylvia and family are patient and lovely. While he was happy to see us he definitely had a great time. 😊”

“If your dogs are your children like mine are, you definitely want someone like Alexandra to watch over them. I was able to leave Leo in her care for almost 3 weeks and I never once worried that he wasn’t getting the best love and care possible. In other words, I was able to enjoy my vacation! Alexandra is great!”

“As a first-time Rover user, I was naturally a bit anxious about leaving our puppy with someone new.Sharyl was absolutely wonderful! She was patient, attentive, and sent plenty of updates that put our minds at ease. Romeo came home happy and well-cared for. I’ll definitely be booking with Sharyl again!”

“Ashley had a wonderful time with Monika and her family. She was well taken cared. She was very welcomed. Monika gave us the updates/pics/vids we needed. We’ll definitely have Monika and family again. Thank you so much Monika.”

“Katherine took care of our new Beagle puppy Ziggy for 5 days. It was his first time away from our family and our first time using Rover. Katherine’s profile met all our needs/requirements we had for Ziggy’s care so we decided to give it a try and we were VERY happy we did! We normally board at one of the local Kennels but after our experience with Katherine we will never use a kennel again. Ziggy was so happy and clearly well taken care of an pampered beyond our expectations. Katherine provided daily updates and photos of all the activities/outings Ziggy was on. She was the best and will be using her again for sure!”

“Trevor did an excellent job caring for my dog. He was very communicative and thoughtful to make sure all parties were comfortable. I highly recommend him and will be having him watch my dog in the future.”

“Artem was incredible! Our other Rover sitter fell through at the last minute, and he willingly took in our pup that same day, so we could catch our flight on time! He was very responsive, and it was clear that he kept a safe and structured environment for the dogs. I would highly recommend him and will definitely call on him the next time we need our dog boarded. Thank you again, Artem!”

“Mac had an amazing time with a lot of playtime and new Friends ! We received multiple pictures and updates throughout the day, I will definitely rebook and would totally recommend!”

“Christa was awesome! She was flexible and really helped me out with a last-minute booking. I appreciated her reliability and would definitely book with her again.”

“I have nothing but great things to say about Emily — both as a person and as a sitter. She’s such a kind and pure soul, and that kindness extends to the animals she’s trusted to care for. I needed a last-minute sitter for my dog after my original booking canceled just two days before my flight. Not only did Emily accept right away, but from our very first conversations, I could tell she was the perfect person to care for my girl. She asked thoughtful, detailed questions about my dog — everything from her allergies to her fears — because she truly wants to understand the animals she looks after. Emily fully embodies the mindset that "dogs are family, not just pets." She was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with my dog, who has a history of severe abuse and was turned away by multiple families before we adopted her. As a result, our dog is extremely fearful of people and has never let strangers pet her. Emily completely understood her trauma, gave her space, and still cared for her with such gentle presence. On the first day, my dog was terrified — she thought I was abandoning her. Emily came up with the amazing idea for me to leave something I had worn, so my scent would comfort her and it helped so much. I wouldn’t have thought of it myself, if she didn’t mention it. Over the four days I was away, Emily not only won her over by day two, but by the end of the trip, my dog — Tigris — had made huge progress. I took her to the dog park immediately after picking her up, and for the first time, she approached people, nuzzled them, and even let some women pet her! (And who knows — maybe with time and continued work, she’ll open up to men too.) I don’t know what it is, but Emily must be an animal whisperer or something — we were honestly amazed and moved by the change in Tigris’ behavior. Throughout the stay, Emily sent regular updates with pictures and videos, which helped so much when I was missing her. She asked before giving any treats outside of what I’d packed and kept me in the loop about anything that came up — including a stress accident where Tigris peed on the couch. Most people would be upset, but Emily was nothing but kind and understanding, just wanting to let me know so I wouldn’t worry. And Tigris having wet stools, that she remedied it by boiling potatoes to add to her kibble. She kept to Tigris’ feeding schedule, took her on walks every 2–4 hours, and even brought her to the park. On top of that, Emily left a beautiful handmade charm with Tigris’ name on it — such a thoughtful touch and a sweet keepsake from this trip. Thank you so, so much, Emily. This entire experience wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without you. I’m beyond glad we chose you. You’re so personable and truly one of the most empathetic people we could have asked for, for Tigris. She is the perfect match for our baby (or any fur baby, really). I had never left Tigris with anyone before, but now I know she’ll be staying with you every time we need a sitter.”

About: Hi, I’m Robin—based in San Pedro and here to help with walks, drop-ins, or just keeping your pet happy while you’re away. I’m reliable, easygoing, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I aim to provide thoughtful, inclusive care and make sure every pet (and person) feels comfortable and supported. Let me know if you’d like to set up a meet-and greet I work from home most weekdays and normally stay local on the weekends. Love to get out for walks on the weekends and mid day during the week Building trust with pets is key to ensuring that they feel comfortable and happy in my care. I take the time to get to know each pet individually, so I can tailor my care to their unique personalities and preferences. Whether it's playing with their favorite toy or providing them with plenty of belly rubs, I am dedicated to building a bond of trust with your pets.
About: Whether your pet needs walk or play time I’m here and happy to help! Short or long walks, or if you need someone to come by and pet sit you have a reliable and experienced person! Due to my open availability my schedule is flexible and I can try and accommodate the time that works best for you and your pet. Safety is the most important thing for me. I can guarantee your doggo would be happy and safe. Your pet is in good hands with me!
“Have been using him for dog sitting for months now and have now also had him drop in to say hi to our bird and cat. Always very pleased with his care! My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! Very thankful to have found such a caring and quality sitter.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and it was hands down the BEST experience I could have asked for, especially with Chris caring for my dog & cat! 🐾 Chris has incredible communication skills and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind :) He is also extremely punctual and reliable, especially when it comes to feeding and walking schedules, which meant everything to me & more. The level of love and care he showed my animals was truly top notch. He followed every instruction perfectly and still found ways to go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways. For the first time in a very long time, I was actually able to relax and disconnect from “pet mom mode” because I knew my animals were being cared for exactly how I would care for them, if not even better. I also loved the pictures Chris sent, you could genuinely see how much fun my pets were having with him, and somehow he even got my cat to come out and play, which says everything. If you’re thinking about booking with Chris, do it!!! You’ll thank me later & your pets will gain a new best friend 🐾”

“Danielle did a wonderful job with my little Marcy, as she always does! There was a mix up in communication on my end and Danielle was so easy to work with and completely understandable. I appreciate your flexibility! Thank you again.”

About: I absolutely love cats and their unique personalities 🐱💛 I’ve cared for many cats over the years for friends, family, and families I’ve worked with, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them—whether that’s giving belly rubs, little scratches, playtime, or just being a calm presence nearby. I’m very intuitive with animals and respect each cat’s personality, whether they’re cuddly or more independent. I’ve also done overnight stays and even taken some cats on little walks! My goal is always to make your cat feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

About: No, I had already been working with cats at my job. I never had a pet. About two years ago I decided to adopt my first cat at the harbor shelter. That was an entire different experience than taking care of a dog. They’re mostly on their own, but they definitely love love and cuddles. Then a year later I was blessed with the second cat that my mom found on the street. This cat was a neonate kitten. I have never taken care of such a small kitten before, even in my own profession, the biggest cats that we see, or at least two months. This kid and was a couple of days old I managed to bottlefeed him and woke up at every meow, took him to work with me, and he survived and grow to be a phenomenal cat.
About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
“Heather is always my go to for cat sitting! I always get detailed reports and photos, and come back to a clean litter box, fresh food and water. Definitely recommend, I've been using Heather as my only cat sitter for almost a year!”

About: I am an animal lover with over 10 years of experience providing exceptional care for pets. I have worked at a doggy daycare for over 2 years and am happiest when I get to spend the day with four legged friends. As a fellow pet owner I am well aware of how much your pet means to you. I understand the importance that they are not only taken care of while you’re away, but living their best life. When I am caring for your fur baby, my number one priority is that they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I am comfortable and more than capable of caring for all types and breeds of pets, and am especially great with pets that require more experienced care (senior pets, special needs, high energy, shy/nervous). I am just as obsessed with your pet as you are, you can expect lots of updates and pics while you are away, as well as a piece of mind knowing you’re pet is in great hands. I can’t wait to meet your pet!

About: I adore cats and understand their unique personalities and comfort levels. Whether your kitty is a social butterfly, shy and timid, or a just takes time getting to know you, I adjust to whatever makes them feel safe and respected. I’m great with: • Slow introductions • Routine-based feeding • Litter box care • Playtime • Anxious or sensitive kitties who need a calm, patient sitter • Photo/Video updates My goal is to make your cat feel relaxed, secure, and cared for while you’re away, without disrupting their routine or space. I am always respectful of your home and follow instructions closely.

About: I have cared for cats for many years. I specifically have worked with senior cats and understand their need for careful attention. Although cats love their personal space, I am a firm believer that they enjoy the company and attention from their owners and I would love to fill that space for your pet while you are away!

“On time and professional for our meet and greet. Eggnog immediately was himself with her, and she handled it well. I’m a helicopter pet parent and I’m confident I have found the right sitter for my Eggnog.”

About: I've had pets all my life and I currently have 4 of my own. I am someone that can be trusted with your pets and they will be cared for just like my own. I'm a freelance performer and my availability is very flexible. Should someone need a last minute sitter I am the person to call. I try to be active with my fur babies and I will make sure they are fully stimulated so they are behaved and happy when the owner gets them back. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats to keep your baby company. I also have extra crates if needed. I take them to the beach
“Nicolas was PHENOMENAL watching my cat while I was away for business! He was very accommodating with getting access to my apartment, and went above and beyond sending updates. Nicolas will be the first person I go to for my future cat sitting needs and can't recommend him enough!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I’ve had both a dog and a cat of my own. Over the years I've become the “official” pet sitter for all my friends, but my favorite is when I get to take care of their cats.

“Armando saved the day for me when I had to last minute go into the office. My dog is very playful and active which makes it hard sometimes to find a sitter that is ok with that. Thankfully Armando has a dog with similar energy as mine so they had a great time playing all day. Armando was very communicative and responsive. i will definitely be using Armando again! Thank you!!”

“Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!”

“Sylvia was amazing! She kept me updated on my two dogs throughout their stay in her home and made sure they got plenty of playtime ! I would highly recommend her and plan to rebook !”

“Traci provides a warm and nurturing environment for our girl. We have an older dog with dietary issues and feel confident leaving her in Traci’s care. Her cozy home is safely fenced and allows pets freedom to explore and find a comfy place to curl up or play. Our dog enjoys staying with Traci and playing with the other pups and that says it all. :)”

“Arriyanna did such a great job taking care of Emma, she gave her lots of attention and made sure that she was ok. Despite it being Valentine’s Day and a rainy day at that she worked out perfectly. She also kept me posted on how my girl was doing so definitely recommend leaving your furry one with her! ???”

“Thank you so much! She is BEST sitter for us. She sent many photos for us. So We could know how our fur baby were doing. My dog had a very relaxing stay and is very good condition the next day. We'll definitely request again next time.”

“Heather was absolutely wonderful watching my dog, Hugo! From the start, her communication was clear and reassuring. She was punctual, attentive, and treated Hugo like her own. Hugo can be a little shy at first, but Heather’s patience and kindness helped him warm up quickly. She sent me regular updates with photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Hugo was happy, well cared for, and enjoying his time with her. When I came home, Hugo was relaxed and content — a true sign of how comfortable he felt with Heather. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with Heather again!”

About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. I currently work as a relief veterinary technician, and since becoming a mom my schedule is more flexible, but my little sidekick comes with me 😊 (don’t worry, she’s friendly… just a tiny gremlin lol). Services I offer: Drop-in visits: All sizes welcome, as long as your dog is friendly House sitting: Available for friendly pets Dog walking: Small to medium dogs preferred; larger dogs are okay for walks during evening/night hours when my baby is asleep (for everyone’s safety) Boarding: Small dogs only (apartment rules), must be friendly with babies and cats My goal is to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy me, my baby, and your pet 🐾💛 I live in an apartment (not fenced), so for boarding in my home, I can only accept small dogs. Your pet must be very friendly and comfortable around a toddler and cats, as I have an 18-month-old and two cats at home. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. Why you can trust me: I’ve been pursuing a career in animal care for years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Humboldt State University and also have my veterinary assistant certification. I’ve worked at CAMP LA in San Pedro for 5 years as a veterinary assistant and currently work as a relief technician on weekends while continuing my education to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I’ve also volunteered with Marine Mammal Care Center and have two sweet male cats of my own. My goal is simple: To provide a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where your pet is treated like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛
“Staci is an impeccable pup watching resource. Communicative, flexible, attentive, safe, and kind. And BELOVED by our puppy, who practically leaps into her arms upon arrival. An amazing neighborhood resource and relieves all the guilt and anxiety of leaving a beloved pet for the day.”

About: Hi! Thank you for stopping by my profile. One of our favorite family hobbies is caring for pets. Every furry guest becomes part of our little family while they’re with us. 🐾❤️ I’d love to share a little about our home and why we truly enjoy taking care of pets. I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From Golden Retrievers to Dachshunds and German Shepherds—and of course cats—these wonderful companions have always been around me. After moving from Europe to the United States, I found myself missing the presence of furry friends. While living in Washington, DC, I started dog walking and cat sitting, and I continued caring for pets while living in Virginia. Now we’re in San Pedro, and I’m excited to keep providing loving and reliable care for pets in our community. We’re a military family living in a safe, gated community near Cabrillo Beach. My son is a wonderful little helper and is often the pets’ favorite because he gives them lots of attention, playtime, and love—and he’s always happy to share his bed for extra cuddles. He especially enjoys playing fetch with dogs at the dog park just a 3-minute walk from our home. 🐾 Your pet will enjoy plenty of play sessions, walks around our sunny neighborhood 🌴, as well as indoor and garden playtime. We also have a small yard where pets can relax during the day while I’m home. I provide multiple walks throughout the day, along with cuddles, brushing, and lots of attention to make sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and preferences so I can make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. 🐶🐱 I am very flexible. I am currently staying home with a very flexible remote job. I can take care of your furry friend during weekdays and weekends with the same day notice. In both my home and my clients' homes, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my home, I ensure all potential hazards are removed and prioritize the pet's well-being. At clients' homes, I establish trust with the pet, familiarize myself with their routine, and follow any specific instructions provided. Communication with pet owners is key, and I ensure adherence to dietary and medical requirements. Overall, my goal is to create a nurturing environment where pets feel safe and cared for, whether they're in my home or their own.
“She's wonderful Mochi seem to be very happy with her. And on a short notice she was available to care for Mochi. I'm very please and so is Mochi. We would definitely recommend her”

“Inta and her husband were amazing sitters. It was only 2 days but the second day Appa (puppy) was ready to jump out of the car as soon as we parked and was very happy to see them. He loved it so much he almost didn't want to leave. Will definitely book them again in the future.”

About: Owners will love the care I provide because I'm very loving and respectful of needs/wants. I'm very caring for animals as they need our help as much as possible. I love all kinds of animals. My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own. I'm home throughout the day/night unless I'm doing homework, photography, or at the gym to better myself; Which I love too. This is great as well if you're looking to better your pet well being. So being available is my most accurate thing about me and it works for any working hours of dog owners. My special skills are loving, playing with dogs, and keeping them happy always while spoiling them with my love or treats. haha. I also love to take photoshoots with my fur baby as I'm trying to own my business one day. I love teaching tricks, spending time walking with them, or just hanging out. I'm here for dogs. Dog lover is my passion. If I could own many dogs I would. I'm those extra helping hands. I am here for you! I can take them to play, walk, feed them, and potty/poop. I also can be there for your fur baby on weekends if you like to go out somewhere and have no worries. I'm here for you. I make sure your fur baby is happy, worry-free, and calm and stays to your commands/rules. I give love and accept lovable kisses and messes. I also have a fur baby of my own, so I know what it takes. I can do any service that you want and try my best to succeed with focus and helping needs until you return to your favorite companion.

They make my days better 🖤 I love meeting new people and caring for their animal family. It’s just something that brightens my days. I’m very caring and attentive. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them comfortable, I’ll make sure they feel cared for every step of the way 💛
About: Hi! I’m Candace, a lifelong animal lover and devoted pet parent. I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities from energetic puppies to senior rescues. With a lifetime of experience in pet-sitting, house-sitting, and loving dogs like my own, I truly get animals on a deep level. My own pup of 8 years (a sweet rescue!) has taught me so much about compassion, patience, and the magic of building trust. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I am a full-time pet caregiver with open availability, allowing me to give your pet the attention and consistency they deserve. I have years of experience caring for animals and have been around pets my entire life. I offer walks, drop-in visits, in-home care, and boarding. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs—whether that means active outings, structured routines, or gentle companionship. After recently losing my own dog, I deeply understand the bond we share with our pets and treat every animal in my care like family. I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and completely at ease while you’re away. I’m happy to care for your pet in your home so they can stay in their familiar environment and routine. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure everything is kept clean and peaceful. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be in a cozy, calm, pet-friendly home where they’ll get lots of love, attention, and a comfortable place to rest. I really tune into each animal’s personality and needs, whether they’re playful, sensitive, or just want a calm presence. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is happy and safe.
About: Hi! I’m Heather! I am a lifelong animal lover, reliable caregiver, and proud pet parent of two doggos and two kitties (one who is a brand new addition!) I’m gentle and calm and I treat every pet like my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals, so communication and compassion are always my top priorities. You’ll get photo/Video updates and lots of reassurance while you’re away. I’m experienced with shy pets, senior pets, and anxious pups who need a little extra patience and kindness, and I adjust to your pet's personality and routine. I’m dependable, compassionate and always respectful of your homeand I truly love spending time with animals and giving them comfort, playtime, and affection while you’re gone. I know separation anxiety works both ways, and I strive to keep my clients relaxed and confident in my care of your fur babies. I am comfortable with oral medication routines as well as pet CPR. I would love to see if I would be a good fit for your family's needs. I’m a part-time student and work flexible contract jobs, so I’m able to build my schedule around pet care. I keep my availability consistent and make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. Pet sitting fits really naturally into my routine, and I love having furry company throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine familiar, their space calm, and their day as stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely, meals, walks, litter box care, playtime, meds, and any special quirks or comfort rituals your pet prefers. I’m gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they want cuddles, playtime, quiet companionship, or space. I move at their pace so they feel safe and understood. I also keep your home tidy and treated with respect while you’re away, lights, mail, plants, and basic upkeep are all happily included. My goal is for you to return to a relaxed pet and a home that feels well cared for. No matter the service, I focus on creating a loving, predictable, and calm environment so your pet feels secure until you’re home again.

“Traci was very loving with my dog and my dog wanted to leave with her when she was dropped off, so that says it all! Traci kept me in the loop, was very professional and most of all, obviously an animal lover. I would definitely hire Traci again!”

“Robin was great with Pickle - who can be very shy and timid. Her patience was great and she was able to get her on her walk when she needed. I would recommend Robin and book her again in the future!”

“Danielle is so sweet and trust worthy! My dog is a nervous guy and he warmed up to her right away. Dogs just know good people! We are so grateful for Danielle and wish we could keep her forever.”

About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. Upon having pets of my own, I raised my kids and now, grandkids, that our pets are special and essential in our lives and need to be treated that way. I have owned strays and mixed breeds, and a lhasa apso to hybrid wolves. A few years back, I started carrying for friends pets in their homes when they traveled. This service brings them peace of mind and comfort when they are away, as they know their sweet pet is being cared for with the same level of care that they provide. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.
About: Growing up, I spent time helping and learning from my uncle, a professional dog walker! I assisted him on daily walks for years and cared for dogs of different shapes, sizes, and ages. He passed down valuable knowledge on pet care and respectfully conducting one's self. I believe this experience directed me to a passion for pet care. Currently, I have been pet-sitting on my own on Rover since 2021! I’ve met and cared for so many new pets and the opportunity has been memorable! I deeply care for animals and know how much walks can mean for dogs. My own dog loves going on walks for miles. Each pet is different and requires their own set of needs, though. Thus, I strive my best to meet the needs of each pet I come into contact with! I have graduated with a B.A. in psychology and have spent the past year working in schools and a clinic. I am taking a break from full time work and have flexible availability! While my own home is not available for pet care, I am more than able to travel to a client's home and do the necessary tasks required of me. I would follow all and any rules, reminders, tips, etc. Pets will be treated with care, love, and responsibility.
About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I learned at a young age the responsibility and passion it takes to properly care for an animal. I understand that pets are truly a part of the family and I treat all animals with love and respect. I have cared for multiple dogs and cats that were my own and also for friends and family. Anyone that you ask can attest that I am the biggest animal lover! I am a full time entrepreneur/artist, so my schedule is very flexible! I am able to step away from my work to check on your pet as needed or pick up my laptop to care for your pet in their own space. I am available Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule and occasional Saturday and Sundays. Since I am self-employed, I am able to come to your home to care for your pet at any time of the day for as long as your pet needs! Depending on your pet's needs, I can be as attentive or as quick as you like. Working from home allows me to consistently check in on your pet and meet all of their physical and emotional needs. I love and care for all dogs I come across, so every breed is welcomed with open arms!

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. Any time there was an opportunity to look after a friend’s or neighbor’s pet I was more than happy to do it. Being paid to do it was nice, but being able to see the pet was the biggest reason I did it. I’m currently working part time so I have quite a bit of time on my hands. As I’m learning to navigate the adult world from recently graduating, looking after pets is a great way to stay active and build a good routine. When it comes to safety and health of your pet, I always run it by the owner dozens of times to make sure the animal is taken care of the highest degree. Whether it’s the specifics about a medication that is important to take or when it’s time to take the pup to bed.

About: Over the past 10 years or so I have spent time taking care of many of my neighbors pets while they go on vacation. I have taken care of their puppies and kitties by taking them on walks feeding and playing with them and watching their house overnight while they are away. I have expanded my experience by pet sitting for more than just my neighbors and connecting with people online when they need a pet sitter. I work part time and on my days off I enjoy taking neighbors dogs on walks or pet sitting their kitties while they are away in my free time. I usually pet sit for people in their homes. I follow the instructions given to me whether this is crating their pets at night, separating them if needed while eating, take them on walks and stay over night and comfort their pets if asked so they are not lonely and don’t tear up the house. I get the information as needed from owners for their pets triggers to make sure they are safe on walks and while in the home while family is away. I stay in the home if needed and instructed by the owners. I have my own two dogs and a cat. I am able to safely give pets medication if needed as I’ve learned how to do this with one of my dogs who is on several medications I also know where the emergency animal hospital is nearby if ever needed. I also have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have taken care of many different dogs and cats with different triggers, personalities and requirements over the past 10 or so years. I grew up with cats and dogs so I would consider my experience with animals much longer than 10 years but specifically doing it as a job would be about 10 years

“Armando was incredible! He took great care of our dog, was super responsive and sent lots of photos. Our dog came home happy and tired. We will definitely use him again.”

“Quing was our very first sitter for our doggy after moving to SoCal from out of state. She sent updates multiple times a day and took such good care of our boy! We always felt great knowing our boy was in such great and loving hands. We will certainly be booking with her again next time we go out of town 😊”

“Latte had the best time with Laura. She stayed in constant contact with mr during her stay. Provided updates with photos and excellent care. Latte was sad to leave after we got in the car. Needless to say Latte will love to stay with Laura again im sure!”

“Elaine was an incredible sitter! She and her husband really know what they’re doing as they usually have a full house of dogs! My pup had so much fun playing in the yard with the other dogs, and Elaine sent me tons of picture updates!! Would use again in a heartbeat.”

“Chris was absolutely wonderful! He took exceptional care of Kai, going above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and happy. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start, and I truly appreciated the frequent updates and numerous photos he provided. It gave me so much peace of mind while traveling, knowing Kai was in such great hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking Chris again!”

“It's hard to know where to begin. Tyler and Patricia are so amazing! They took such GREAT care of our 9 year old Emma - they were so attentive, kind, and conscientious with her. Emma was immediately comfortable with both Tyler and Patricia. They are dog people to the max! They are great communicators - they gave us great updates and photos daily. They will customize the amount of updates you'd like to receive and they were definitely on point for us. When I picked Emma up today, she was happy to see me, but she was like, 'ahhh, good to see you, but I wouldn't mind staying a while longer!" She was more comfortable staying with Tyler and Patricia than she's ever been staying with anyone else before. They made her feel a part of their family! We are so GRATEFUL we found Tyler and Patricia and I know Emma is as well. It's so comforting to find people like these two to take care of a member of the family who means so much to you.”

“Maria is phenomenal! She took great care of my pup for five days. She sent photos every day and posted instagram videos of the dogs playing. She takes the dogs to a park every day. I think my dog had more fun while I was away than I did! Highly recommended and overall a wonderfully nice person to trust with your pets.”

“Giovanna watched our Tyson at her nest and clean apartment for three days. She was perfect! She listened carefully to instructions and followed through on everything. We received daily updates and photos which were very reassuring. Tyson would have been happy to stay with her!”
