My dog is older and has special needs, in addition to pretty bad separation anxiety. My dog doesn't put up much of a fuss going to his house, which is a testament to how much he likes Armando, his wife, and Buddah! He was also very accomodating with the drop in visit- we had set up the TV to play while we were gone and it messed up, but he was willing to follow the instructions we sent to fix it so that the animals can have entertainment again! About: No, I had already been working with cats at my job. I never had a pet. About two years ago I decided to adopt my first cat at the harbor shelter. That was an entire different experience than taking care of a dog. They’re mostly on their own, but they definitely love love and cuddles. Then a year later I was blessed with the second cat that my mom found on the street. This cat was a neonate kitten. I have never taken care of such a small kitten before, even in my own profession, the biggest cats that we see, or at least two months. This kid and was a couple of days old I managed to bottlefeed him and woke up at every meow, took him to work with me, and he survived and grow to be a phenomenal cat.
About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.

I enjoy walking, i have a small grassy area in front to trod around & potty. I'm aware that older dogs have special needs when caring for elderly dogs! I've cared for many different typs of' dogs over 30 years as well as caring for relatives', friends', & neighbors' dogs. I have potty trained, walked, groomed, Obedience Trained my dogs. Work from home and sometimes part time 4 hours out of the home max. otherwise I'm here to hang out with doggos & provide companionship, exercise, food, treats, comfort, Care and tummy rubs! My home is open & clean w/wood floors, but I have coverings & blankets on the floor & can accommodate beds or other comfort items / crates if you provide them. I'm home most of the time & walk early mornings, can take dogs out easily anytime for excersize or potty & have pads in the kitchen. About: We both grew up with dogs. We currently have 1 cat which we have had for 10 years, a large dog, and a medium sized dogs. This collection of pets gives us a good amount of experience in caring for different types of pets as well as how they interact with each other. In addition to our own pets we have also cared for some of our friends pets overnight on many occasions and have shared houses with roommates who have also had dogs and cats. I have no prior professional experience caring for others pets, do I m a behavioral psychologist who has worked with neurodivergent children for many years and can apply these concepts to pet care. One of us works from home 5 days a week and the other works from home 2 days a week. With the exception of some meetings, can be flexible to provide care at most times of the day. In our experience, that dogs and cats crave more than anything else is safety, trust, and an understanding of the ways they attempt to communicate with you. Our pets are capable of being on their own when needed, but when we are around they never leave our sides even for a moment. They are obedience as trained through positive reinforcement and socialization through meaningful experiences. They look to us for guidance, but we also like to challenge them to think for themselves to solve problems such as getting a to out of reach or navigating to us when the path is not visibly clear. I give this level of attention and support to every pet I meet and know how to build a relationship of trust and respect quickly and effectively. Even pets belonging to former roommates tend to follow me more than their owners after enough time.
About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life. Any time there was an opportunity to look after a friend’s or neighbor’s pet I was more than happy to do it. Being paid to do it was nice, but being able to see the pet was the biggest reason I did it. I’m currently working part time so I have quite a bit of time on my hands. About: Over the past 10 years or so I have spent time taking care of many of my neighbors pets while they go on vacation. I have taken care of their puppies and kitties by taking them on walks feeding and playing with them and watching their house overnight while they are away. I have expanded my experience by pet sitting for more than just my neighbors and connecting with people online when they need a pet sitter. I work part time and on my days off I enjoy taking neighbors dogs on walks or pet sitting their kitties while they are away in my free time. I usually pet sit for people in their homes. I follow the instructions given to me whether this is crating their pets at night, separating them if needed while eating, take them on walks and stay over night and comfort their pets if asked so they are not lonely and don’t tear up the house. I get the information as needed from owners for their pets triggers to make sure they are safe on walks and while in the home while family is away. I stay in the home if needed and instructed by the owners. I have my own two dogs and a cat. I am able to safely give pets medication if needed as I’ve learned how to do this with one of my dogs who is on several medications I also know where the emergency animal hospital is nearby if ever needed. I also have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and have taken care of many different dogs and cats with different triggers, personalities and requirements over the past 10 or so years. I grew up with cats and dogs so I would consider my experience with animals much longer than 10 years but specifically doing it as a job would be about 10 years
