About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I cared for my dog for 12 years, cooking his meals, giving medications, and supporting him through chemotherapy — helping him live longer and happier than expected. That taught me patience, compassion, and how to care for pets with special needs. I’m also a proud cat mom to three, and I look after a colony of seven strays I’ve helped get fixed, fed, and loved. Because of this, I understand that every pet has their own personality — from shy rescues to playful puppies to senior pets that need extra comfort. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, and love their pets like my own. Whether it’s a quick potty break, a walk, or an overnight stay, I’ll make sure your fur baby feels safe, happy, and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I make time every morning and evening for animals. I’m flexible with scheduling and can adjust to meet each pet’s needs, whether that’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine consistent so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves care that’s tailored to their unique needs. With my own pets, I provide personalized meals, vitamins, and consistent routines — and I bring that same level of attention to every animal I look after. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their established routines, whether that’s feeding schedules, daily walks, or quiet cuddle time. My goal is to build trust by treating each pet like family and making sure they feel happy and secure in their environment.

We've been using Jackie's dog walking services for 4 weeks now and everything is going great. She first came to our house to meet Sophie and instantly connected with her. Jackie communicates well and sends updates immediately after the walk. She's been very reliable so far - and we're very pleased with the service! Thanks Jackie.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and senior pets. What sets me apart is my patience, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to each animal’s unique needs and personality. I’ve helped train puppies with basic commands and potty routines, and I’m also comfortable administering medications or providing gentle care to older pets with mobility issues. I treat every pet like family and focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment whether I’m walking, feeding, or simply spending time with them. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages, so they feel reassured while away. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I make time for it every day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, depending on what’s needed. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize the pet’s needs. Taking care of animals is not just a task for me—it’s something I look forward to and naturally fits into my everyday life. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s. I always make sure the environment is clean, calm, and secure—no small objects or hazards around, doors and gates are checked, and routines are followed to reduce stress. I take time to learn each pet’s habits, medical needs, and personality so I can provide personalized care and maintain consistency. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions closely—feeding times, walk routines, or any specific care preferences. I also keep them updated with regular check-ins, photos, and notes to build trust and give them peace of mind. In my own home, I only take in pets I know I can safely accommodate, and I gradually introduce them to the space to make sure they feel comfortable. Whether I’m in their space or mine, I treat each pet like my own—with patience, love, and full attention.

About: What sets me apart is over 6 years of hands-on, diverse pet care experience—ranging from playful puppies to senior dogs, cats, bunnies, and reptiles like Leopard Geckos and Iguanas. I specialize in working with dogs who have separation anxiety, using calming routines, gradual desensitization, and structured care to help them feel secure and relaxed. I also have extensive experience in puppy training, including housebreaking, basic commands, and proper socialization to build confidence and good behavior from an early age. I’ve worked with a wide range of dog breeds and sizes—including large and gentle giants—and I tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. My involvement with my aunt’s dog rescue has deepened my understanding of dogs in transition or high-stress situations, teaching me how to provide calm, consistent care for pets adjusting to new environments. In addition to my behavioral experience, I’m passionate about animal welfare and safety. I prioritize a secure home environment—ensuring doors and windows are closed, leashes and harnesses are properly fitted, and crates are used when needed. I follow any safety instructions you provide and treat your pet like family, building trust through reliable, loving care. My ability to adapt to different species, behaviors, and needs, along with my focus on emotional well-being and routine, helps me stand out as a sitter who truly understands what it means to keep pets happy, healthy, and comfortable in your absence. As a college student with classes only two days a week and online coursework that I manage on my own schedule, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and personalized pet care throughout the week. I also work just a few hours Thursday through Saturday, which still leaves plenty of time for daytime or evening pet care. This flexible routine allows me to tailor my availability around each pet’s needs—whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or extended stays. I’m comfortable supporting a variety of energy levels, from relaxed companionship for senior pets to active play and exercise for high-energy dogs. My experience with pets of all ages helps me adapt easily, and I take pride in creating routines that make pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I will ensure that the environment is dog- and puppy-proofed, making certain that all doors are securely closed. I will also confirm that there are no toxic plants or foods accessible to the pets. Additionally, I will ensure that harnesses and leashes are properly secured. If crating is necessary, please inform me in advance so I can accommodate this when I leave. If there are any other safety measures you would like me to implement, please let me know.

About: I have been animal/house sitting since I was a kid. I have 5 animals myself & I know how hard it can be to leave them when going on a trip. With this being said, I will provide the upmost love and care while you are away. I am available on weekdays in the mornings before 8am and after 5pm. I am completely available on the weekends. I offer boarding at my home, or I can come to yours! Your animals safety and well being is my number one priority. If boarding at my home, I have an unfenced yard and will take them out to play and walk on a leash.

About: I used to work solely on childcare, but families almost always have pets and since I’ve loved animals since I was young, never minded taking care of their pets too. Now, I focus on pets. I’ve cared for yorkies, huskies, cats, labradoodles etc. I have experience taking care of special needs pets (blind), senior pets, and puppies. I have experience walking, bathing, brushing, and training a dog basic commands using positive reinforcement methods and I don’t believe negative reinforcement to be humane nor effective. Because I’ve transitioned from childcare to only pet care, I now have an open schedule. I am open for both sitting and boarding. Ideally an arrangement would be made at least a day prior as well as cancellations. I work weekends as well as they are open. Caring for pets in my home is not too different from clients home. At my home, the dog/cat is allowed on the bed and furniture, but if family has requests not to I will comply and keep in a crate or limit to the floor. I’m generally very lax about letting your pet sleep on my bed or on the couch. If dog is not clean I would bathe, I provide dog shampoo and towel. For walking, at least 2 walks with potty breaks in between. I live close to old town Torrance which is a nice neighborhood to walk your dog, or Wilson’s park. Leash is a must for safety reasons. Pet will have its regular feeding time and my yard in front is fenced in and has been dog proofed for your pup to have some air and play under my supervision. It’s generally a calm area where I live. For safety: your pet must be vaccinated, especially against parvo. If your puppy is unvaccinated I will not be walking your puppy until he/she is vaccinated. If your dog has low control towards other dogs please let me know so I can walk in a more secluded area and know to curb your dog when another dog walker walks by.

About: My best friend was a beautiful Pitbull which crossed over the rainbow bridge in 2021. After loosing my pup I decided to open my heart and home to taking care of your pup. Dogs leave "pawprints in your heart" which can never be replaced. I would love to help care for your pup & watch them like they are my baby as this is how I see them as they count on us to take care of them. Consider me your fur baby sitter! I’ll walk your babies around the neighborhood, park and/or take them for a car ride. I will have them next to me as much a possible. I’m a professional photographer so I work about 80% from home, you can be sure you will receive a lot of photos & videos from me. We have a huge back yard with plenty of space for your pup to run around. A clean environment with cameras and double gates to keep your pup safe. Every pup is unique and I focus on their specific needs. I let them roam free and sleep in our rooms so they know they are safe with us. You may request your pup to be the only one in our home, I'm more than happy to accommodate your baby's needs. *If this is your first time with Rover please use code: JOHANC40598 to receive $20 off your booking. Please note 20% of my fee is automatically deducted to cover Rover fees. I'm a photographer and only leave for a few hours at a time, I’m home about 80% of the time, your pup will hardly ever be alone. We like to keep your pup as close to us as possible and cuddle with them. Our home is double gated with security cameras. We dedicate time to paying attention and getting to know them. When we go to your home we like to go see it and go over the rules you have and routine for your pup.

About: Looking for a trusted and loving pet sitter? Look no further! With over 15 years of experience and a genuine love for animals, I have been providing exceptional pet care in Los Angeles. I was fortune enough to work closely with the franchise owner of Fetch Pet Care of the South Bay/Hermosa Beach as a reliable professional pet sitter for many years. I learned a lot, caring for families and their beloved fur babies. I worked all along the South Bay from Gardena and through all cities along the coast. When the franchise went out of business in 2018, I sought out to expand my knowledge with animals and worked as a Veterinary Technician for 9 years. I dedicated so much of my time, energy, and emotions to all the animals and families and I couldn’t be more proud, honored, and so grateful for everything I experienced in the animal health industry. In 2021 during the pandemic I unfortunately experienced a major burn out and compassion fatigue I decided to make a difficult decision and close that chapter of life due to health reasons. Despite not working in the animal field anymore I never stopped loving and caring for animals. I decided to continue pet sitting in my free time while away from my current job as a quality inspector. Pet sitting has always been a passion of mine, I love meeting new people and spending time with animals giving all the attention, love and care they deserve. With all the years of experience in the animal care field I’m confident and excited to help with all your walking/feeding/medication administration needs. I will always treat them all as my own. Can't wait to meet you and your babies! :) I am currently working part time as my mother’s caregiver and on my free time I do pet sitting. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out. I am available for in home overnight pet care from 7pm 7am. At this time I am not offering any boarding services at my home.

About: I've had pets all of my life and have a true love for all animals. I believe they all have personalities just like us, and deserve to be treated like the kings or queens that they are. I've taken care of dogs, birds and fish for my family and neighbors. I also have experience training puppies how to do simple tricks like sit, stay, shake hands and jump on command. I love dog walking because I am a very active person and I can share my energy with active doggies that need a breath of fresh air. Book me if you have a dog that LOVES walks and needs to release their energy from being in the house. I am an independent musician so I have a lot of free time for morning, afternoon and evening walks. I have a very patient demeanor and understanding of accommodations. Depending on the pet and their physical capabilities, I include feeding followed with play time, pets and lots of walks for your doggo. I can also administer medication with proper instruction.
