About: I’m a life long animal lover! Have raised and cared for many dogs and cats throughout my life. My parents worked with local shelters and rescues all throughout my childhood as well and would often foster/adopt many dogs and cats. I currently have a 55lbs bully mix, who was rescued about a year ago and he is my world ❤️ If hired, I’d make sure to treat your fur baby just like he/she was mine 👍 I am currently in school at CSUDH waiting to resume classes in August. As of now my availability is open Monday-Friday for Drop-in’s and walking appointments. I will always treat your home and your fur babies with the same love and respect I’d show my own! Happy to send pics and updates along the way. Observant and careful during all visits and walks. Also comfortable with light housekeeping and ensuring I leave your space clean and tidy.

About: Growing up, I spent time helping and learning from my uncle, a professional dog walker! I assisted him on daily walks for years and cared for dogs of different shapes, sizes, and ages. He passed down valuable knowledge on pet care and respectfully conducting one's self. I believe this experience directed me to a passion for pet care. Currently, I have been pet-sitting on my own on Rover since 2021! I’ve met and cared for so many new pets and the opportunity has been memorable! I deeply care for animals and know how much walks can mean for dogs. My own dog loves going on walks for miles. Each pet is different and requires their own set of needs, though. Thus, I strive my best to meet the needs of each pet I come into contact with! I have graduated with a B.A. in psychology and have spent the past year working in schools and a clinic. I am taking a break from full time work and have flexible availability! While my own home is not available for pet care, I am more than able to travel to a client's home and do the necessary tasks required of me. I would follow all and any rules, reminders, tips, etc. Pets will be treated with care, love, and responsibility.

About: I had two dogs of my own for 16 years who have since passed. I took care of them from puppyhood to senior ages. I am attentive to the needs of dogs and I greatly enjoy them. I have walked neighbors dogs and have experience with dogs of all types and demeanors, from aggressive dogs and dogs that pull while walking to super happy go lucky dogs . I love them all. I currently am unemployed and do contract work when it comes, thus, I spend most days at home and have a lot of time to be with your pet. I am used to caring for dogs and planning my time around their needs. I typically walk dogs multiple times a day, for lengths depending on the dogs needs and abilities. I have a large grassy area near my apartment that dogs may run in, or we can walk to the beach to play.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 8 years now personally for friends, family and myself! I have a chihuahua/ shitzu mix who is 6 years old that I have raised since 7 weeks old and he is the best. I am currently a stay at home mom/wife ..so I will have plenty time to give needed attention to the doggies and nice play time as well. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, have potty breaks and enjoy the outdoors. My apartment community also has a dog park, plenty of grassy areas, and a walking trail, providing lots of opportunities for exercise, playtime, potty breaks, and exploration. I make sure every dog gets the activity, attention, and care they need while staying in a safe, comfortable environment.

About: Our pets are just an extension of our family. I grew up in a house with pets and farm animals. I was taught to treat these animals with love and respect and ensure that they had fresh water and food every day.and that they were cleaned-up after, exercised and that they were comfortable. Upon having pets of my own, I raised my kids and now, grandkids, that our pets are special and essential in our lives and need to be treated that way. I have owned strays and mixed breeds, and a lhasa apso to hybrid wolves. A few years back, I started carrying for friends pets in their homes when they traveled. This service brings them peace of mind and comfort when they are away, as they know their sweet pet is being cared for with the same level of care that they provide. And having their pet in their own environment is less stressful of the whole family. I ensure that a regular routine is maintained and that fresh food and water is always available. I walk and/or play with them to entertain and exercise your pet on a daily basis. I am happy to provide updates and pics while you are away. And I make sure that the poop is cleaned up, as well. I am recently retired and have lots of flexibility in my schedule so I am available to walk or provide over-night stays when needed. I care for your pet as you would care for them. I do my best to keep them safe and cared for in the environment they are used to, their own home.

About: I have been a sitter for years. It’s just something I love to do because I love animals :) Once I got a fur family of my own (Dog & Cat) I thought it would be fun to be a sitter and do something I love. I always go the extra mile and create content, if the client approves. I work as a music producer and have tons of time for my animal friends! About: Hi! I may not have a ton of recent reviews, but I’ve been on Rover since 2019, and animals have always been my passion 🐾 I currently work as a relief veterinary assistant at CAMP LA in San Pedro and have been there for 5 years. Over that time, I’ve worked both full-time and part-time, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and medical care. These days, I’ve shifted into a more flexible schedule so I can spend time with my baby, but animal care is still a huge part of my life and something I truly love doing. I’m also continuing my education to become an RVT and have a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. I absolutely love what I do, and honestly, I’ll probably be more excited to meet your pet than they are to meet me 😅 During the weekdays, I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my little one is with me. Because of that, I do require pets to be very friendly and comfortable around a baby. She’s gentle and used to animals she treats our two cats like royalty. Current availability: Drop-in visits Dog walks (best for dogs ~40 lbs or under) For larger dogs or house sitting, I’m available during evening/night hours (around 8 PM–4 AM). If your pet is a good fit, I would truly love to care for them and treat them like my own. My cats are used to dogs as long as the dog is respectful, and my little one is gentle, but safety for everyone is my top priority. Because I’m a stay-at-home mom during the day, pets need to be especially friendly if I’m caring for them while my child is awake. For evening/overnight services (after 8 PM), I’m able to care for pets on my own, but I still require them to be friendly and safe to handle. About: I have owned 6 dogs through my lifetime, two boxers (Chica and Bella), one fox terrier (Jack), a black mouth cur (Kimber), a pit bull mix (Charlie) and a one eyed Chihuahua (Zoe). I also owned a couple of fish (Cheeto and Elvis) as well as a ferret (also named Jack). I worked as a kennel technician, groomer (I bathed, blow dried and clipped nails only, (I did not cut hair) and a doggy daycare counselor as well! I know how to feed, water, walk, bathe, dry and give medications. Familiar with how to handle dogs in heat. My love for animals has always gone above and beyond, they deserve nothing less🩷 I have a lot of free time and a goal of starting dental school once I can afford it! If I can reach that goal by meeting and caring for your fur babies, it will be a blessing. I’m available anytime from 8:30 am to 10 pm any day of the week or weekend. I do ask for a 3-4 day notice in advance for appointments (scheduling or canceling) please and thank you! For coming to a clients home, I always ask questions and for detailed instructions of pet care. I will follow the schedule, measurements and rules made by the owner to a T. I make sure dogs are being well supervised as well as lots of pets, treats, cuddles and play time! I am able to take them on walks, give them baths, play, crate and respect the dog (or cat) and owners boundaries. Side note: I cannot do boarding in my own home due to roommates and their pets.

About: We live in a very dog friendly and safe neighborhood. I’m experienced in taking care of special needs dogs as well as non-special needs. If your pup is on a special diet, I have no problem weighing food. As well as administer any meds. I’m currently available to play, walk and take care of your pup. I can take your pup out to go potty every 2-4 hours. Taking care of pups needs is my first priority. I do ask that your dog(s) and cat(s) be current on flea medication and their vaccinations, just to safe as we go for walks around the neighborhood and/or parks.

I am retired and love being in the company of animals in any fashion. Their happiness and comfort is my primary goal, whatever that entails. About: Owners will love the care I provide because I'm very loving and respectful of needs/wants. I'm very caring for animals as they need our help as much as possible. I love all kinds of animals. My care experience is based on learning from watching, reading online, or learning on my own experience how to proceed in careful matters. I've learned very risky situations on my dogs that I had in the past that I was not comfortable with but I managed to take risks. So I can say I'm a bit of a risk taker as well, But a safe only if you want me to do. Nothing is done without concerning the owner. These are a bit of what I can do for my dog and try with any other pet. I can bathe, clip nails, comb hair, and come up with tricks with treats granted. Availability comes great with me because I'm home with my fur baby of my own. I'm home throughout the day/night unless I'm doing homework, photography, or at the gym to better myself; Which I love too. This is great as well if you're looking to better your pet well being. So being available is my most accurate thing about me and it works for any working hours of dog owners.
