“Samantha was AMAZING!! From our meet and greet on my dogs were in love with her. She was so great about sending updates and it was clear in her photos that they both loved her so much. Our house was also well taken care of! We will 100% be using her again.”

“Once again, Margaret was amazing! This time around she also took care of a new foster puppy we got unexpectedly. He is a tripod and also has a bad back leg. His motility was very limited but Margaret handled it like a pro! She also stays at our place until our flight actually lands instead just sticking to a written schedule. That means so much to us because flights can be delayed. Thanks again, Margaret!”

“I will definitely be asking Aech to watch my pup again! I very much appreciated the regular updates on my dog and could tell from the many photos that she was relaxed and happy while staying with Aech, which is not a given for my sometimes anxious dog. Aech did not even blink at my dog’s little eccentricities and special needs, and just happily rolled with punches - highly recommend booking!!”

“Lily was awesome! She took amazing care of Bailey and kept me updated with great photos and communication the entire time. Bailey absolutely loved her, which made everything even easier. I swear my apartment was cleaner when I got back than when I left. She made the whole experience completely stress-free. Couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 review!!”

“We LOVE Awa!! She’s so great with our dog and also takes great care of our apartment while we’re away. This time she even stayed late on the last day due to our delay in getting back. It’s amazing having someone so reliable and caring. Thanks again so much Awa!!”

“Tedra was lovely, we highly recommend her! She was patient with our two dogs (who have strong personalities) and very communicative. We’ll be using her again. Thank you, Tedra!”
“Melia watched our two cats for a week while we were away and did an amazing job. She sent lots of photos and updates throughout the week, was a great houseguest, and even our shy guy was comfortable around her. We came home to two relaxed happy kitties, and will definitely use her again in the future.”

“I had such a great experience with this sitter! She was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with from the start, which immediately put me at ease. While I was away, she sent me regular updates and photos, which really reassured me that my dog was happy and in good hands. She stayed at my home and took excellent care of everything ,well-kept space. Most importantly, my dog was clearly well cared for, relaxed, and happy. I truly appreciated her attentiveness, reliability, and the genuine care she showed. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful sitter!”

“Siena was able to accommodate my last minute house-sitting request and was great! Very communicative, sent lots of happy photos with my dog and made sure he was well taken care of (like putting on calming dog music on my TV for him before she left the house)!”

“Sam stayed at my home and looked after my 9 year old golden retriever for the night. When I returned, I found my place in impeccable condition, and he had taken excellent care of my pet. Sam followed instructions diligently and proved to be a trustworthy caregiver. I will certainly continue to rely on him to take care of my home and dogs.”

About: I’ve taken care of large and small dogs since I was in high school, including many of my nanny families’ dogs over the years. I currently don’t have a dog of my own in Venice, and have a flexible remote job, which gives me the opportunity to fulfill my animal serotonin fix by helping others care for their pets as if they were my own! I’m currently working a remote job that is pretty slow in the summer, as well as a pretty free weekend schedule, so I’m interested in helping pet owners as much as I can this summer and beyond. I can care for your pets in your home just as you would if you were there, tending to their personalized needs and routines. As for jobs where your pet would be coming to my home, I live in a townhouse with two levels, giving ample space in non-bedroom living quarters for your pets. I also have a fenced in yard in front of my building for play, as well as close proximity to parks and the beach for walks and exercise! I have experience in managing all different types of dog personalities, and can promise dedication to your guidelines and routines for your pet.
“It always gives us such a peace of mind when Nichole watches our senior dog, who needs medication. Not only does our dog love her and gets so excited when she comes over but we get constant updates while we’re away.”

“Carolina is absolutely wonderful with our three pets. She’s incredibly communicative and always proactive about addressing any potential medical concerns. Two of our pets have special medical needs, and she has been exceptional—attentive, compassionate, and reliable—every time we’re away. We’ve trusted her through multiple trips, and she consistently keeps both our home and our pets safe, happy, and well cared for. We couldn’t ask for a better sitter.”

“Nick is an amazing companion for your dog while you are away. It was the first time I have left my dog since moving to LA and I was very nervous. He not only sent daily photos and videos, but also took Otter to the beach multiple times and got him a Christmas toy. I cannot thank him enough for the love he gave Otter.”

“Fidana has watched my dog overnight multiple times and taken her on tons of walks, and I honestly trust her completely with my dog. You can immediately tell how much she genuinely loves animals and how naturally good she is with them. My dog is very strong and can definitely be a difficult walker at times, so I get nervous letting just anyone handle her, but I never worry when she’s with Fidana. She’s so patient and sweet with her, and my dog absolutely loves her. Every time she sees Fidana she gets insanely excited, starts snorting, and her tail goes crazy. One thing I really appreciate is that Fidana always sends cute photo and video updates while I’m away, which honestly puts my mind at ease so much. It’s very obvious how much care she has for every animal she takes care of, and I would genuinely trust her with any pet for either walks or pet sitting.”

“My 5 month old puppy loves Roxane. Roxane has helped me out last minute on multiple occasions for overnight drop in visits and it couldn’t have gone any better. She keeps me updated and sticks to the feeding schedule and makes sure my pup gets all the attention she needs. 10/10”

Venice pet parents share their Rover experiences
My 5 month old puppy loves Roxane. Roxane has helped me out last minute on multiple occasions for overnight drop in visits and it couldn’t have gone any better. She keeps me updated and sticks to the feeding schedule and makes sure my pup gets all the attention she needs. 10/10

Melia was wonderful. She had good communication with me throughout the duration of her time house sitting and watching my cat. She also understood how to properly care for a cat who is more shy and takes time to get comfortable around new people. Melia was able to get my cat to come out and play, which several cat sitters had a hard time doing. I would definitely recommend Melia.

I am a very particular person about my dog and cat and Meagan did such a great job taking care of them. She sent regular communications/pictures and responded whenever I reached out. I came home to a spotless house, she even washed my sheets! I will definitely have Meagan back to babysit!

Fidana was amazing! I have had not so great sitters in the past and she really made me feel so comfortable. I have a 65lb big boy that requires extra attention when walking. She not only kept me post when I was away but constantly sent me videos of my dog. 100/100 Fidana is the best!!

We were so lucky to have snagged Aech when we needed to extend our last trip. Really appreciated the regular check-ins and photos of our girl. Luna was perfectly content with their time together, as were we! Will be happy to leave our pup in such great hands when we head out of town again. Thanks so much 🖤🤍

I cannot recommend Jillian highly enough. I have two cats, Oliver and Bowie, and I recently had to leave town shortly after Oliver was diagnosed with megacolon. As any pet parent who has gone through a health scare knows, leaving your pets behind under those circumstances can be incredibly stressful. I was nervous about being away, especially given the medication schedule and monitoring Oliver required. From the moment Jillian stepped in, I felt completely at ease. She is a true cat person through and through. Not only was she comfortable managing Oliver’s medical routine, she handled it with confidence, care, and attention to detail. She never made me feel like I was asking too much, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his wellbeing. Throughout the stay, Jillian sent consistent, thoughtful updates that gave me real peace of mind. She shared details about how the cats were doing, photos, and little observations that made it obvious she was paying close attention and spending quality time with them. What stood out most was that it felt like she genuinely enjoyed being with them. My cats weren’t just being cared for; they were being loved. When your pet is dealing with health issues, trust becomes everything. Jillian earned mine completely. I came home to two happy cats and felt grateful knowing they had been in such capable hands while I was away. I would book Jillian again without hesitation and fully expect she’ll be my go-to cat sitter for years to come. If you’re looking for someone who is dependable, communicative, compassionate, and truly understands cats, you will be lucky to have her care for your pets.

I've had Nick watch Sadie a few times now and it's safe to say he does a great job! Sadie genuinely seems to love when he swings by to watch her for a few days. He's very quick to respond to messages and takes wonderful care of Sadie. Always happy to rebook with him!

Danielle was so great with Bear, and put me at ease while I was away for an extended trip. She stuck to his schedule seamlessly, provided lots of adorable photo updates and made sure my apartment was as clean as she found it. Could not recommend Danielle enough!
