Erik has been wonderful at keeping odin on schedule and using the activities I suggest to drain Odin mentally and physically. EVERY time I've come home after Erik's been with Odin, he's been balanced. (Which says a lot as Odin learns to how to navigate his separation anxiety). About: Hi, I’m Vanessa! I’ve always had a passion for animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I started pet and house sitting for friends and family, and over the past couple of years I’ve also cared for pets through Rover. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. Cats are my favorite. I love their unique personalities, but I also have experience caring for dogs and birds. Throughout my life I’ve had cats, small and large dogs, and cockatiels, which has given me experience with a variety of pets. I currently have a German Shepherd, so I understand the importance of keeping dogs active, engaged, and well cared for. I’m dependable, detail oriented, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I know every pet has their own routine, and I’m happy to follow it closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box cleaning, giving simple medications, or spending extra time playing and keeping them company. For pets that are comfortable being home during the workday, I'm available for feeding, bathroom, and walks before work, in the evenings, overnight, and throughout the weekend. I am detail-oriented, adaptable, and take pride in following care instructions closely so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m flexible to either board your pet in my home, stay at your home whether for drop in visits or overnight stays, whatever you and your pet feel works best for their comfort. Prior to the stay, (my home or yours), we will go over your pet’s routine and your expectations to make sure this is a good fit before moving forward.

We could tell when we met her that she knew how to work with them, letting Leo, the protective brother growl at her and ignoring him until he decided it was okay to let his guard down. Throughout our trip, Quiana sent updates including photos and videos of all our pets including our 18 year old cat. When she had to leave our puppies at an unplanned time to run back to her house and let her own dog out while her boyfriend was at work, she let us know - this was appreciated as we wouldn’t have known if she didn’t tell us. The transparency certainly helped gain our trust. She also took good care of our house and brought the mail and newspapers in without being asked! We’d highly recommend Quiana and will definitely be calling on her again in the future!”
