“Bethany was attentive, kind, and a wonderful communicator. My little Ripley was happy and calm with I returned home. I would absolutely recommend Bethany as well as request her services again. Wonderful pet sitter!”

“I’m so happy we found Ji Hae! She’s so communicative and followed all our instructions exactly. Shes experienced with caring for large dogs which was especially helpful for our two pups. It was so nice traveling and knowing she was taking care of our dogs and our home! Definitely will be reaching out again!”

“Pearl watched our dogs for a week while we went on an international trip. She was very communicative and sent tons of photos. We knew the dogs were in good hands. She was gracious enough to take our dogs to their non anesthetic teeth cleaning and also vacuumed the house. We highly recommend booking with Pearl. Thank you!”

“Wonderful experience with Hannah. From the start, she was communicative, keeping us updated on anything that came up and asking thoughtful questions to make sure our dogs stayed healthy and happy. It was clear Hannah genuinely cared—she made sure they got plenty of walks and exercise, and her regular updates gave us peace of mind while we were away. What stood out most was how well Hannah got to know their individual personalities. Her comments and observations showed she wasn’t just watching them, she was truly connecting with them. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book Hannah again. Highly recommend!”

“Joel is the best pet sitter ever! He’s been watching my cat bobo for 2 years now and always takes such great care of him. He’s super responsive and sends lots of updates. He’s also very respectful of my home! My cat is always super relaxed and happy when I get home and it allows me to enjoy my trips all the more knowing Joel is taking such good care of him!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and cats and am often the go-to pet sitter for my family. I have experience caring for pets of different ages and personalities, including helping senior family members with bathing, feeding, walking, and providing companionship for their pets. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I am reliable, patient, and committed to treating every pet as if they were my own. After 26 years working in an office environment, I decided it was time for a change and to do something I truly enjoy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I love dogs, being active, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy going on walks and providing pets with the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Caring for animals gives me a sense of purpose, and I love knowing that I’m helping both pets and their owners feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, which is why I make it a priority to carefully follow all instructions provided by pet parents. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, exercise, or special care requirements, I will make sure your pet receives the attention and care they are accustomed to. I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and respect, as if they were my own.

“We had a lovely experience working with Vasil. He stayed in our home for the weekend to look after our 2 yorkies and gave us tremendous peace of mind while we were that they were being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend Vasil and hope to work with him again in the future :)”

“Candace was amazing! Very friendly and understanding of my Lola's needs. Lola really felt comfortable around Candace early on, making me comfortable knowing someone was going to take care of my Baby.”

“I returned to a happy healthy puppy. It was my first time leaving him so I was very worried but leaving him with Maddy in the comfort of our own home was so helpful. Maddy went above and beyond. I had a very long travel day in the morning I left. And when I booked she already had commitments until later in the evening which I was aware of. I thought it would be okay and just had my neighbor check on him later in the afternoon in the crate and he had had diarrhea while in his crate. I was so worried about him but Maddie was incredibly communicative cleaned up made sure he was comfy and taken care of and he did not have another accident for the rest of my trip.”

“Velvet is amazing! I rescued a pup off the streets yesterday and had an important appointment this morning. I booked Velvet late in the evening the night before, and she shifted her schedule to help me last minute and was wonderful with communication. Even more importantly, Velvet made this sweet rescue boy (again, fresh off the streets) feel calm, comfortable, and she even got him to snuggle with her! If she's this much of an dog whisperer with a fearful stray boy, I can only imagine the incredible care a beloved pet would receive. Thank you so incredibly much, Velvet! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you!”
“Elaine is the best! This is the first time we went on an international trip and left our coopie alone for so long. Her updates were phenomenal and put us at ease knowing our dog was in good hands. She is the best dog sitter ever!!!”

About: I’ve always naturally connected with animals and genuinely enjoy being around them. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I know every pet has a different personality, so I try to make them feel relaxed, loved, and cared for like they’re my own. I currently work a hybrid schedule, so I carefully manage my availability to make sure I can provide dependable care and attention during bookings. I’m mainly available Monday-Wednesday and always make time for walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and updates throughout the stay. I like keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone else, so I take that responsibility seriously. I always follow owner instructions carefully, respect clients’ homes, and prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and supervised. I’m naturally very patient, calm, and communicative, and I’ll make sure to send updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
“This was my 1st time using Rover and was so lucky to have found Jordan. She did a pre-visit to meet my puppers and get care details. She was on time, very professional and stayed in communication all say with pictures and updates. Having her with my dog in his environment, I was able to relax knowing he was taken care of. 5 Stars, would recommend.”

“Kate cared for our "urban zoo" of animals - doing overnight shifts - over a long weekend: 3 cats, 4 backyard chickens, 3 geckos, 1 goldfish ... and 1 (fairly newly adopted) dog. She was receptive to our litany of instructions, and send us a charming check-in/update midway through the weekend. She was also a welcome houseguest. In sum, all was perfectly in order upon our return. We will definitely turn to her again.”

“Cloe saved my trip when my original sitter plans backed out days before. She’s super quick to respond and I felt really confident in her care for Odin in my home while I was away. My mind was at ease.”

“Hannah stayed with our 3 dogs for 6 nights and we came home to healthy, happy dogs and our house in the same condition we left it in. Hannah sent regular updates and asked questions as needed. We were able to relax and feel confident our pets were getting the care and attention they deserved. Thank you, Hannah!”

“This was the 1st time Jona watched our 2 large dogs. He followed the instruction given to him to the T, and asked smart questions if he wasn't sure. He is 100% trustworthy and integer. A rare find. I would definitely book him again.”

Wilmington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ivy took a good care of our dogs for 9 days including administering insulin shots to one of our senior dogs. All of our 3 dogs warmed up to Ivy right away because of her calm demeanor, and Abi, the young GSD, even got zoomies while we were away which tells us she was very comfortable with Ivy. Ivy is also a great communicator, flexible, and always punctual. Thank you Ivy!

We are so grateful for the amazing care Cassandra gave to Sir George Pugleys and Lady Lilly Belle while we were away. Having you stay in our home gave us such peace of mind knowing they were comfortable in their own environment and so well cared for. The picture updates meant so much to us and truly helped us relax while we were gone. It was obvious from every photo that George and Lilly were happy, loved, and getting plenty of attention. You treated our home and our dogs like your own, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter!
Heather was wonderful with our three dogs and one of the first sitters we ever trusted with them. She immediately put us at ease and took such great care of everything while we were away for a week. One thing we really appreciated was how she reached out with thoughtful questions about each of the dogs personalities and how they get along. It was really nice because it showed she genuinely wanted to get to know them and make sure she was caring for them in the best way possible. One of the biggest bonuses is that she also cleans houses on the side, and it truly shows. We came home to a house that was even cleaner than when we left it, which was such a nice surprise after traveling and made coming home feel so much more relaxing. She was also incredibly thoughtful and flexible when our flight got delayed. She went out of her way to come back later in the evening to let the dogs out, which we really appreciated. She stayed in great communication the entire time and kept us updated, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and detail oriented sitter.

Liana was fantastic with my 15 1/2 year old and 9 year old dogs. They both take medication twice a day and Bowie & Truffles warmed up to her which shows she really was beyond amazing 🤩 as Bowie does not easily bond with anyone. Constant updates and photos were a relief as I was so anxious as I don’t travel often. I felt her warmth the moment she came to visit for a meet & greet. I highly recommend Liana.
Si-Mon is an angel and an incredible pet sitter. She took such great care of my boy while I was out of town for a week. It was the longest we had been apart and my dog experienced some separation anxiety. She stayed with him all night to help calm his nerves and stayed in communication with us the entire time we were gone with photos and videos.

David was amazing for Dudley! He took more than great care of him. Walked him several times a day, and sent us updates and pictures. David went above and beyond, & felt comfortable leaving him in our house to take care of Dudley while we were gone. Kept it clean and he is a very respectful and overall good guy! You will be happy with him and his services. We will hire him as long as he will watch Dudley!
