About: I have been caring for dogs for over 40 years, off and on and for the last 6 years. I work part time from home and my teens are homeschooling so I have time at home to play and care for your loved ones. In my home, pets are family and they are treated as such! I have a big, enclosed backyard for lots of playtime fun and doggy door access from the house so they have plenty of places to roam and explore. I have 2 small dogs (Coco 5yrs. is a Pug Mix and Luna 4 yrs is a Pug), both rescues. Luna we raised from 3 months old. They love meeting new friends and playing in a pack! I have been using Rover myself, for almost eight years, whenever we go on vacation and I love this service! My dogs have so much fun when they are away with their sitter family and I want to help other dogs and families feel the same peace of mind while they are away! I am lucky enough to be able to work part time from home and assist my homeschooling teens. Because I am home everyday, I make time to get outside often. I include all of the dogs in our playtime and the more, the merrier! I live in a house with a fenced in backyard. I have easy access to the backyard with a doggy door. I allow dogs on our furniture. They are part of the family, after all. My home is dog proof and I gate off areas they are not allowed, such as kids rooms. Dogs sleep in my room, either in a dog bed or kennel, whatever you prefer. I have extra beds & blankets as well. We spend time doing outdoor play a few times a day.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and can understand how they are feeling. There is a huge park nearby that I can take them on their daily walks and exercise if opting to stay at my place. In general, I love taking care of them like they are my own. I work full time remotely on East Coast hours, which means I finish my work early while spending more time to take care and play with your fur baby! Nicholas and Carole are the best! Our 8-month old high energy dog Fozzy loved his time there and slept so well at home afterwards, and even the next day! Nicholas took him on fun walks, exercised him with play time in their backyard, and let him run and play with their dog Bruce. They sent frequent photo and videos during the day. They even got him to go potty right before I picked him up, so that I wouldn't have to do that after we got home late at night. We hope to book them again in the future!
Armando was terrific! My 35 lb 2-year-old had stitches and needed to be kept calm and supervised for a couple days that we were unable to stay home with him. Armando was available on short notice and asked the right questions about what sort of care was needed (one of his dogs had just gone through a similar experience). His dogs were very sweet and he took terrific care of my boy both days, lots of play and socialization while keeping it nice and easy. Stitches came out on schedule after and he's healing up nicely. Hiromi was wonderful with our mini goldendoodle Mozzie! She was very generous letting us walk Mozzie to her door to help him get settled (as this was one of his first Rover experiences). We received lots of photos and video of Mozzie snuggling on her couch and playing with the other dog she was watching that day. She fed him lunch and walked him around the grounds of her gated apartment complex so he could get out for some exercise. Hiromi was also flexible when we had to make a later pick up time than we expected. Mozzie is already looking forward to his next visit 😀 Thank you Hiromi!
